Sophie moves to San Diego and has to start a new school. She finds herself becoming more and more interested in the strange boy in her class, Tony. She wants more than anything to get to know him and bring him out of his shell, but she'd have to give up her new 'popular' friends. Will she throw them away for a chance of becoming his friend? And will she try and take some of her new friends off with her to make a new friendship group?
