Well, Who's to Say You'll Have to Do it Alone?

The next day it was Elizas birthday and we were gonna throw her a party. Jack and Rian went to get some last minute things while me and Zack made a cake. We were letting Caitlyn help, she loved being involved and i could tell.

"Okay, pour the eggs in" i said handing her the cup and helping her dump them in, i had her in her little baby carrier Eliza got me

"Dah!" she yelled excited as the eggs fell in

"Good girl!. Now help uncle Zack put the flour in" i said and Zack let he dump the flour in, which was just her putting the cup into the bowl

"I think thats all, stir?" he asked holding up a spoon

"Yep" i said and he started stirring and Caitlyn leaned in and mixed with her hands

"Rahhh" she said stirring with her hands

"Shes gonna be a mess" Zack said

"Maybe. But she's making it with love" i said and he rolled his eyes at me

We made the cake and i frosted it alone, i couldnt let Caitlyn mess with that because it would be a disaster. Jack and Rian came home and i let Caitlyn play with her toys while we set up for the party. Later after everyone had arrived Eliza finally arrived.

"Its the birthday girl!" Jack said

"Hey" Eliza said

"Happy birthday" everyone said

"Thanks" she said

"Hey. Happy birthday, look what Caitlyn got you" i said and gave her the picture she made earlier while we were setting up

"Oh my god, i love it!. Thank you cutie" she said kissing Caitlyns cheek

"So Jack and Rian were making jello shots, since i know those are your favorite" i said

"Have a shot with me?" she asked walking away and i followed her

"Uhm, i dont think so" i said

"Come on!" she said picking up two shots

"Fine. Just one and thats it" i said

"Fair enough" she said and i took it, Jack made it to strong

"Ew" i said

"Yummy" she said

"I think its a little to much" Elizas friend Lianna said

"I do to!" i said

"Its perfect!" Jack said

"No i agree, its to strong" Elizas friend Dan said

"Yep, done with alcohol. Especially this form of it" i said

"Whatever, look what i got at the store!" Jack said holding up a blow up pool

"Sweet ive been wanting to get one. Its so hot outside" i said

"Come help with it?" he asked

"Totally!" i said and we went outside

About a hour later we had the thing blown up and filled with water. This was the best purchase i think Jack has made in a while. Everyone that had a bathing suit went in, i sat in it with Caitlyn who freaked once i sat down.

"Aww poor baby" Jack said

"Caitlyn relax, daddys got you" i said as she hung onto my neck and cried

"Shes scared" Rian said

"I know" i said

"Hand her over" he said and i passed her to him and she calmed down

"What the hell!?, how'd you do that!?" i said

"I dont know. She just loves her uncle Rian, plus ive just got a calming presence" he said

"And i don't?" i asked

"Nope" he said

"Damnit!" i said

"Lets teach her to swim" he said

"She doesnt have floaties. Plus i think shes to young to learn" i said

"Not at all. My mom just dropped me in the pool, its how a lot of people do it" he said

"Thats horrifying!. I could never do that to my baby" i said

"What do you say Caitlyn, wanna learn to swim?" he asked her

"Nuhhh" she said

"I take that as a no!. Smart girl" i said

After a while me and Caitlyn got out, she was starting to shiver. I warmed her up and sat on the couch with and watched spongebob. While i was watching tv there was a knock on the glass door, i looked over and it was Lauren and i signaled for her to enter.

"Hey" she said

"Hey" i said

"So, is there a party going on here?" she asked

"Yep. Everyones outside, i was outside but Caitlyn was getting cold" i said

"Oh. Well i wanted to talk" she said

"About?" i asked

"Us. Im sorry for being so mean and avoiding you" she said

"Its fine, you had every right to" i said

"Okay. Will you forgive me and let me hangout with you guys again?" she asked

"Hmm...of course!. You can start by joining the party i said getting up

"Alright" she said and we went outside
