Well, Who's to Say You'll Have to Do it Alone?

The next day me and Jack went to meet Penelope and Kristi for drinks. Jack was pretty excited, i on the other hand was a little hesitant because of the last time i went out. We got to the restaurant and we inside and they were sitting at the bar.

"Hey guys" i said

"Hey!" they said

"This is my friend Jack. Jack, this is Penelope and Kristi" i said

"Nice to meet you" Jack said

"Nice to meet you to" they said

"So...lets drink!" Jack said and sat next to Kristi and i sat next to Penelope

Jack and Kristi seemed to be getting along very well. I couldnt tell if it was the alcohol or if they liked each other, either way they were talking and joking around. Me and Penelope managed to stay pretty sober and got to know each other.

"So what do you do?" she asked

"Im a singer slash guitarist in a band" i said

"Really?. Which one?" she asked

"All Time Low" i said

"Hmm...sounds familiar, i'd have to hear a song to know if ive heard your band" she said

"Fair enough. What do you do?" i asked

"I work at my aunts restaurant. But im in school to be a cardiologist" she said

"Wow seriously?, thats impressive. Never would have imagined that" i said

"Mhmm" she said

"Alex!. Try this" Jack said coming over to me with a giant cup

"What the hell is it?" i asked

"Its like 5 different alcohols mixed together!" he said

"Ew really?" i asked

"Yep" he said

"Oww, my liver hurts just looking at it. Im good" i said

"Pansy. Wanna taste?" he asked putting it in Penelopes face

"No im good. I have a beer" she said

Later i ended up going home with Penelope in my car. I called Rian and told him to pick up Jack and Kristi, they were to drunk to make complete sentences. We got to Penelopes house that she shares with Kristi and we sat in the livingroom.

"Nice place" i said

"Thanks, i decorated it myself" she said, she was slightly drunk and so was i

"Cool" i said

"Mhmm" she said moving a bit closer to me and i leaned in

"Your very pretty" i said

"Thank you. Your not so bad yourself" she said

"Mm, thanks" i said and she kissed me and we got up not breaking the kiss and she pulled me down a hallway and i pushed her up against a door and kissed her harder and she went to open the door but i stopped her

"Whats wrong?" she asked breaking the kiss

"I just-...i cant" i said

"You seemed like you were up for it" she said

"I know. Im so sorry, but i can't. Were both not fully sober, its not right" i said and she was in deep thought for a second

"Its alright i understand. I admire you for being this way, its hard to come by guys like you" she said

"Thanks" i said

"You'll spend the night, right?" she asked

"Yeah definitely" i said and she kissed me and pulled me into her room

"No sex. We'll just watch a movie?" she said and i nodded

We watched a movie until we both fell asleep, which was pretty fast. I woke up the next morning and went to the bathroom to pee. I came back to the bed and laid down and i felt sick, i grabbed the gargage can under her nightstand and puked. I knew i shouldnt have had that drink with the alcohol in it that ive never had. I rolled back onto my back and Penelope was up.

"You okay?" she asked

"Yeah. Just the alcohol last night, new weird alcohol makes me sick until im used to it" i said and she nodded

"Same here" she said

"Sorry about your garbage can" i said

"Its fine. Its whats its there for, garbage and puke. I'd be more pissed if you puked all over my bed" she said

"Done that before. Gross as hell" i said and she laughed

"Where do you think Jack and Kristi are?" she asked

"Probably my house. We can go get your car and you can follow me home, we can make them go out for breakfast with us" i said

"Sure" she said

"Cool. Can we shower first?" i asked and she nodded

We took showers and then left to get her car, good thing it wasnt vandalized. I drove home with her following me and we got there pretty fast. We went inside and Rian and Kristi were sitting on the couch.

"There you are!" Rian said

"Yes" i said

"Hi" he said to Penelope

"Hey" she said

"So where Jack?" i asked

"Well...in the bathroom dying" he said

"Puking?" i asked

"Yes" he said

"He was super wasted last night and continued to drink once we got back here" Kristi said

"Nice. Are you showered?" i asked her

"Yeah, why?" she asked

"Well we were gonna all go out for breakfast" i said

"Nooo. Sun light is to much" she said

"Alright. How about i cook. That way i can make sure Jack eats" i said

"Sure" she said

I went to the kitchen and started making pancakes, its simple and the thing i like to make when im to lazy to put effort into food. While i was cooking Jack walked in and laid his head on the counter. I laughed and pat him on the head making him groan.

"Screw you" he said

"Your super hungover, huh?" i asked

"Yes. Ughhhhh" he said sitting on the floor

"You okay?" i asked

"Fine" he said

"Okay. So did you two have fun last night?" i asked

"Mhmm..we had sex" he said smirking at me

"Eww. TMI" i said

"Sorry, did you and Penelope have sex?" he asked

"Nope. Almost did but we didn't" i said

"Well your no fun" he said

"I dont care" i said

"Hey Alex. Uhmm me and Kristi are gonna have to go, im sorry but shes like super hungover and wants to go home and sleep" she said

"Thats fine" i said

"Okay. Im gonna leave my number on this board, call me sometime" she said

"Alright" i said and she left

I made breakfast for me and Jack and me and Rian ate, Jack was to busy throwing up. After breakfast me and Rian left the house to go for a walk. After walking for a while we sat down on a park bench to talk.

"So how'd it go last night?" Rian asked

"Fine" i said

"Did you sleep with her?" he asked

"Nope. Almost did" i said

"Good" he said

"Mhmm" i said

"Do you think the relationship will go anywhere?" he asked

"Maybe. I hope so, shes so funny and so smart. Shes going to medical school" i said

"Nice" he said

"Mhm" i said

"I hope it does. You deserve someone nice" he said and i nodded and my phone wrong and i hit answer and put it on speaker phone

"Hello?" i said

"Alex!. Can you and Rian go to walmart or walgreens or whatever and get a mop?" Jack asked

"Were on a walk" i said

"So walk" he said

"Why do you need a mop?" i asked

"I peed myself while puking" he said and me and Rian started laughing

"How'd you manage that!?" Rian said

"I dont know" Jack whined

"Dude thats sick" i said

"You know i cant hold my bladder when im hungover" he said

"Still its gross" i said

"Get me a mop?" he asked

"We have one in the closet in the hall" i said

"Thanks" he said and hung up

"Hes disgusting" Rian said

"I know. Im not changing him. He better take off his own piss covered pants" i said and he laughed
