Well, Who's to Say You'll Have to Do it Alone?

The next day i got a call from Brook saying she was bringing Caitlyn back early. She said somthing about work, i wasnt sure i could believe her. At about 12 there was a knock on my door, i opened it and it was Brook holding Caitlyns car seat and stuff.

"Hey" i said

"Hey" she said annoyed

"Whats wrong?" i asked

"Dont even act like you dont know. You legally forced my father out of our daughters life?" she said

"Im not talking about this with the baby around" i said taking the car seat

"Whatever Alex" she said passing me the bag and she left

"Damn she seemed pissed" Jack said as i closed the door with my foot

"Yeah she is. Anyways forget her, i was thinking. How would you feel about going to the fair thats in town" i said

"Okay. Invite Rian and Zack?" he asked

"You call them. I need to change her" i said and he nodded

Jack called Rian and Zack and they agreed to come. They arrived a little while later and had Meghan with them, Caitlyn again reached out for Rian. We decided to walk to the fair instead of driving since it wasnt very far, once we got there Jack sat down on the ground.

"Thank god!. Were finally here!" he said dramatic

"It wasnt that bad" i said full of energy

"Yeah easy for you to say, you had the stroller to lean on!" he said

"True" i said

"Zack, carry me" he said

"No. Get up" Zack said and Jack stood up

"What should we do?" Rian asked

"I dont know anything!" i said

"You seem happy" Rian said

"I am. Im deciding that im not gonna let Brook get to me" i said

"Thats the sptirit!, wanna get her face painted?" he asked

"Wanna get your face painted?" i asked

"I'll take that as a no?" he asked

"Hell no" i said

"How about we just walk around?" Zack asked

"Sure" i said

We started to walk around and then decided to go down to the rides. Jack really wanted to take Caitlyn on the ferris wheel, i didnt let him because obviously shes to young. Me and Jack ended up deciding to go down the giant slide together.

"This is gonna be awesome!" Jack said walking up the stairs

"Mhmm" i said

"Scared?" he asked

"No. Just feel awkward, were like ten years older then everyone in line" i said

"Thats because were awesome" he said

"Well...thats very true" i said as we got to the top

"I call front!" he said sitting on the mat on the slide

"Fine with me" i said

"Yay!" he said

I sat behind Jack and we went down the slide. People were giving us really weird looks, guess i can see why. We got to the bottom and Jacks head hit me in the face.

"Oww!. Dick" i said

"What?" he asked getting up

"Your freakishly weird shaped giant head smacked me in the face" i said

"Well your face shouldnt have been where it was" he said helping me up

"It hurts" i said

"Can you see where my hands are?" he asked

"Their above your head" i said

"Mhmm. Your good, quit whining" he said

"You suck" i said

"Thank you!" he said

"Look Caitlyn, its daddy!" Rian said coming over

"Baby girl!" i said taking her from him

We decided to go walk around and look at everything again, we obviously were to big for these rides. Caitlyn saw a horse and got really excited which was super cute. After a while we all got lemonade and sat at a table to talk.

"Its hot as balls out" Jack whined

"I know" i said and Caitlyn started whining

"I feel ya girlfriend" Jack said drinking his lemonade

"Your to cute, you know that?" i said to Caitlyn while i played with her

"Shes so cute!" Meghan said

"I know shes just to much cuteness!" i said

"I like this weird attitude you have with your baby" Rian said

"What attitude?" i asked

"Like cute and happy" he said

"Thanks, can you grab the bottle from the diaper bag for me?" i asked

"Sure" he said and grabbed the bottle and passed it to me

"Here baby girl" i said trying to give her the bottle, it had water in it

"Ehhhhh" she said after taking a sip

"Come on, you gotta try to drink a little more then that" i said trying again and she didnt want it

"Quit trying to force water down her throat" Jack said and i glared at him

"Let me see whats wrong here" i said drinking some of her water

"Sick dude" Zack said

"We have the same germs. This water is nasty by the way, its all hot. Guess i shouldve expected that" i said

"Here Caitlyn try this" Jack said sticking a spoon out to her, he got lemonade that was like a smoothie

"Jack" i warned

"Calm your tits dude" he said and she ate the lemonade and made a weird face before drooling and rubbing her face on me

"Well she loved it" i said sarcastic

"Nice going dude" Rian said

We stayed at the fair for a little while longer and then went home. Me and Rian went out to target and left Jack to babysit, i needed medicine for Caitlyn because she was teething still. While i was looking at a bottle of medicine i heard my name and looked up and saw Brooks brother and his friend.

"Oh no" i whined

"Hey Alex" Brooks brother said

"Hey Liam" i said

"So, whats going on with you hating on my family?" he asked

"I dont. Just your dad" i said

"Why did you ban him from Caitlyns life, thats messed up" he said

"Im just gonna ignore you. Im not letting you ruin my good mood" i said

"Your a prick you know that?" he said

"So, how do we give this to her?" i asked Rian

"Well theres a little measuring thing thats supposed to help" he said

"Oh good. So is this one good?" i asked him

"Yeah it'll be fine" he said

"What are you talking about?" Liam said

"Anything else?" i asked Rian

"Nope" he said and we left the isle

"Hey...Alex...stop being a dick and talk to me!" Liam said grabbing my shirt

"What the hell!?" i said turning around

"Why are you being crazy, i know you hear me" he said

"Crazy?!, you just pulled my collar!" i said

"So whats your problem with my dad?" he asked

"Hes a giant douchebag!, he thinks im a bad father. I dont know who he thinks he is he seriously needs to stop being such a damn-" i started and he cut me off by punching me in the face and tackled me to the floor

"Woah!. Stop" Rian said trying to pull him off me

"Dude get off him" Liams friend said trying to help Rian while Liam punched me again

"Get the hell away from me!" i said kneeing him in the balls

"You okay Alex?" Rian said helping me up

"Yeah. Can we just pay for this and go, i think my nose is broken" i said holding my nose

"Mhmm" he said and we left
