Josh hesitated to answer the phone and allowed the song to reach the chorus before he reached to pick it up.He finally picked the phone up.At this point Gem and Dan were sat on the sofa kissing whilst watching TV. Gem was lying across Dan's lap and notcied that Josh was shaking,so kept an eye on him,this also became apparent to Dan.
'Hello Gorgeous' Alex said 'How you doing?'
'Umm hi Alex,I'm I-I I'm good,you?' Josh replied nerveously
'I'm ok but you don't sound to good whats up?' Alex questioned
At this point Gem and Dan were whispering about Josh.Dan mouthed 'Just hang up if you don't want to talk!' Josh didnt. Josh knew he was better than that to hang up on some one who he sleplt with voluntarily.
'No I'm fine Alex,so why did you call me?' Josh replied and began to cheer up slightly in his tone.
'To see if you recovered and if Dan and Gem said anything?'
'Pfft recovered I'm fine mate,oh and no all she has done so far this morning is steal Dan's Gossip Girl box set and have boxes and pans cover her' Josh giggled.Alex laughed down the phone pretty loudly. So loud Gem heard.
'I hurt myself Alex not funny!' Gem yelled across the room
'Babe it was hillarious,no offense' Dan admitted. Gem sighed and fell back into Dan's lap.
'Ok ok I will stop laughing but I called also to see if you would like a double date?' Alex responded
'Yeah but with who?' Josh asked
'That cute clumsy couple you live with,Duh!' Alex dictated
'Hey I didnt know did I,And I agree they are a cute pair,Ok I'm sure they are up for it!'
'Ok say 5pm I shall pick you lot up then,see ya babe,love you!'
'Sure,love you to Alex' Josh replied and then placed the phone down and fell into the nearest chair.Dan and Gem exchanged glances.Gem got up off of Dan's lap,which,which made Dan moan in protest. She moved to sit next to Josh.
'The I love you already,Josh are you sure about this?' Gem questioned
'Ummmm' Josh mumbled
'Mate come on if you feel something for the guy just say it' Dan said moving next to Gem.Gem's pocket vibrated when Dan sat next to her.
'Woah whats that?' Dan squirmed
'My phone.Its a text....Abigail..' She indicated
The room fell silent in shock.Josh slipt lower into the chair in hope of being eaten by it.
'She asked if you are ok and want her to come over' She explained
'No not now,Josh cant not right now,he has to deal with this mess' A voice said in the distance and the figure stood forward.
It was Max.Josh looked up and looked back down again in embaressment.
'Max how long have you been there?' Dan asked
'5 minutes,come on I mean me,Matt and Chris are still in bed,the crash of pans woke me up luckily for you Matt and Chris are heavy sleepers.' Max replied and sat on the floor next to Josh holding his knee.
'You dont need to be embaressed,if you like him,you like him I'm not gonna judge you I'm not that type of person' Max assured
'Really?You won't tell the others? Even though I take the piss of your height' Josh asked
'Nope not one word,look if I was judgemental then I would have judged Dan when he just wore jeans on Warped Tour every day or Gem when she acts all cute I could say she is a baby which she isnt' Max begun 'I could judge you but what good would that do it would only mean I only see the bad in people and news flash I dont do that' Max confessed

Josh hugged Max tight.Whispering.
'Thank you shortie'
'OI foul play!' Max laughed
And soon Abigail text was forgotten about and Josh was just happy Max could give a crap and supported him completlely
