When We Were Younger

Form the rest of that week Tilly became closer and closer to the lads, especially Dan and Matt. They would sit together for lunch outside on the grass, talk before school and go to the park after school. They even got Tilly involved in football, but she sucked at it and the lads always laughed at her.

It was Saturday morning and Tilly was still in bed until someone knocked on her front door. Her dad was at work as he had some important things to sort out today and her mum was out at a friends, so she had to get up and get the door. She climbed out of bed rubbing her eyes and made her way downstairs. She completely forgot that all she was wearing was an oversized band shirt and knickers. She opened the door to find Dan stood there.
"What are you doing here, it's so early."
Dan couldn't help but notice what she was wearing, or should I say, not wearing. He saw her long thin legs go all the way up and disappearing into her long t-shirt.
"Actually love, it's past 12."
"So? That's still early, well I guess you can come in."
She opened the door a bit more, still being half asleep. She padded bare footed to the kitchen and shouted through. "Want a drink?"
"Yes please love."
After a couple of minutes Tilly came back holding two mugs full of hot chocolate. She handed one to Dan and sat down next to him. He took a sip of his drink before speaking.
"Tilly?"
"Mhm," she said before taking a sip from drink.
"You do realise that you're not wearing pants right?"
Her eyes went wide and she quickly looked down. Her face went a bright red.
"Oh shit! Uh, sorry." She got up and started looking for a blanket. She found one on a shelf in the living room. When she reached up to get it Dan couldn't help but look at her bum, I mean he's a guy right?
She padded back over to the couch and sat down while wrapping a blanket round her legs.
"Better?"
"I prefered you before the blanket love." He said with a wink, earning him a punch in the arm. "Ouch, what was the for?"
"Being a perv!"
"Aye, but you're the one who forgot to wear pants." That earned him another punch in the arm. "Right, thats it!" He dived over to her and started tickling her.
"Dan get off, Dan stop it, DAN!" She said inbetween giggles. He stopped tickling her and rested his head in her lap, smiles still on their lips. She started playing with his hair mindlessly. He turned on his side, his head still on her lap, while she carried on playing with his hair. He lightly traced circles on her leg that was uncovered slightly. They stayed like this for a while until Dan sat up.
"Oh yeah, Josh is having a party tonight and wanted me to invite you."
"Hmm, I'm not sure.."
"Oh come on Tils, please. For me." He stuck out his bottom lip so he was pouting.
"Fine, but look after me yeah?"
He pulled her into him and she wrapped the blanket around them both before resting her head on his chest.
"*Always.*"
