Breathe

*Angelo’s POV*
I was currently laying in bed thinking about Meagan, she is always on my mind. Ever since I laid eyes on her when she came to help Chris and Ryan get Allie and Lolita back she has always been on my mind, I swear I love her but I hate it how it’s wrong to like another creature that isn’t the same specie as yourself. Maybe I can get some help from Chris even if his partner broke up with him and Chris could be executed anytime soon because of it, I drove to Chris’ and knocked on his door. He opened up the door and I saw him in nothing except for a towel,

“What’s up Ang?” he asked letting him come in
“Um nothing… Did I interrupt you from your shower?’ I asked
“Nah you didn’t, I was just about to get changed, which I shall do now so make yourself at home” Chris said walking off. I went to Chris‘ kitchen and made myself some coffee, I was sitting down on his couch when Chris walked in fully clothed,
“So what’s up?”
“I need some relationship advise” I said
“You know there are the guys who could help you other than me, you know how fucked up my relationship is right now. Lolita left me and I ended up with a whore but then I dumped her” Chris said
“I know with the whole situation but I’ve known you for longer and I know you won’t try to do stuff unlike the others”
“So what do you need help with?” he asked
“I really like Meagan but I don’t know what to do” I sighed looking down, I was feeling helpless. It’s been a while since my last relationship and that ended up badly.
“Well I don’t really know how to help but maybe just tell her and see what goes on there?” I suggested
“I know but isn’t it wrong to like someone who isn’t a vampire?” I questioned
“It is looked down upon but it isn’t wrong, many vampires have loved other creatures and they have worked out fine… Well except for the whole female vampire liking a male werewolf, that doesn’t end very well” Chris said chuckling to himself, I think he was remembering something that had happened many years ago.
“So do I just tell her straight flat out that I like her?” I asked again
“You can” he said shrugging his shoulders
“Thanks, I’ll go do that then…” wow I wonder if I’ll actually do it
“See you later Chris” I shouted out closing the door behind me.

I honestly need to get this off of my chest, I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and went into my contacts to find Meagan’s number, when I found it I pressed the call button. After a few rings she answered,
“Hey Ang, what’s up?” Meagan asked shyly
“I was just wondering if you were home”
“I am… Did you wanna come over?” she asked
“Yeah, I’ll be over in 15 minutes” I said before hanging up, it’s now or never Angelo I thought to myself.
15 minutes later I was at Meagan’s,
“Do I really have to do this?” I asked myself
“I have to get it over and done with, if she doesn’t like me well it’s tough luck” I said to myself. I got out of the car and walked straight up to Meagan’s front door knocking on it a few times. She answered the door and she looked beautiful as always,
“Hey there Angelo” she said shying away from me
“You’ve known me for how long and still shy around me?” I said chuckling giving her a hug,
“I just am shy, you know?” she said letting me inside
“Meagan, I just wanted to tell you this. I have liked you ever since I laid eyes on you when you first stepped onto the bus and I can’t help my feelings, they are so strong for you.” I said rushing everything out
“Wait… You like me?” she asked
“Yeah I do, actually now I think it’s more love than like” I said
“But aren’t vampires supposed to their own kind?” she asked
“Well it’s looked down on if two different creatures are in love with each other” I answered
“Ang-Angelo, I have to tell you that I have liked you for a long time as well” Meagan confessed.
“Serious!?” I kind of yelled, Meagan ended up cringing at me raising my voice
“Sorry babe, well if you don’t mind do you wanna you know… Be my girlfriend?” I asked looking down knowing I would get rejected, Meagan stepped towards me and made me look at her.
“Angelo, I would love to be your girlfriend” she said grinning at me like a fool, I was about to kiss her when I realised; what if she didn’t wanna kiss me?
“Um you don’t mind if I kiss you right?” I asked nervously
“I don’t mind at all, now kiss me” she said before I gave her a sweet and passionate kiss on the lips.
Now I finally have my love.
