All Matt wanted was to live a normal life - graduate high school, work in order to provide for himself, go out and have fun - but the supernatural lives of his friends kept getting in the way.

All Samantha wanted was to get away from home and start her life over somewhere new, somewhere far. But for the time being, she just wanted to be on the road and travel the county, maybe even the world one day.
