-Fast forward to Saturday-

I woke up stress free, i love saturdays. Then i relised that last night my mom said we'd be visiting my grandparents today and that happiness was gone. I love my grandparents but typically on these trips i always see distant relatives, i dont seem my grandparents a lot. So its just gonna be to awkward, i need to get out of it. I got up and went downstairs and my parents were dressed and everything.

"Hey Alex, go get ready sweety" my mom said

"Its early" i said confused

"Were going early this time, we wanna join everyone for breakfast" she said as i sat down at the table

"Mom can i just stay home?" i asked

"Nope, unless theres a good reason for you to" she said

"I...forget it. But can i skip the breakfast thing, my anxietys bothering me" i said

"Alex just come" she said

"Mom i'll come later, plus im still half asleep" i said and she laughed

"Fine. But you better show up" she said and they left

I took a shower and ate and then just watched tv. I didnt know when i was leaving but i dont care, im just not in the mood to deal with family. Later it started snowing so i decided i needed to go before it got really bad. I started driving the snow was starting to get worse. A little while later i ended up hitting black ice and swerved and the back of my car hit a pole. I freaked out and called Jack.

"Hello?" he said answering his phone

"Jack!, dude i-i...i just basically got into a accident" i said pushing down the airbag

"What?!, are you alright?!" he said

"Im fine, i mean i might have hit my head but im okay. The back of the car hit a pole. But im freaking out man!" i said

"Want me to come get you?" he asked

"Please" i said

"Where are you?" he asked

"I just got off exit 22" i said

"Im coming" he said and hung up

I sat in my car and just waited, i never have been in a accident before so i was kinda shook up. A little while later Jack pulled up behind my car and ran over and pulled my door open.

"Hey" i said

"Alex!, thank god your okay. Come on lets get you out" he said holding his hand out and i grabbed it and he helped me out

"What do i do?" i said

"Well i called a tow truck, their coming for the car. Do you need to see a doctor?" he asked

"I-i dont think so" i said

"Okay. Where were you going?" he asked

"Familys house, i dont wanna go now though" i said laughing a bit and so did he

"Totally understandable, wanna come to my house. My mom can atleast check you out make sure your not really injured" he said pointing to my bruises, his moms a doctor at the hospitol

"Yeah" i said

"Alright, by the way Elyse is coming over to my house to hangout later. So now you'll be distracted" he said

"Awesome" i said

We waited for the tow truck and then left to go to Jacks. His mom checked me over, luckily alls i had was some bruises most likely from the airbag and a pulled muscle in my neck. Me and Jack went to his room and i laid on his bed while he was playing xbox, not to much later we heard a knock on the door and Elyse walked in.

"Hey!" she said happy

"Hey" Jack said and i waved to her

"Jacks mom wanted me to bring up this" she said holding a ice pack

"Thats probably for him" Jack said and she gave me it

"I can tell now that it is. Damn what happened?" she asked

"Little car accident. Nothing insane, if the airbag hadnt deployed i'd be fine" i said

"Wow!, are you okay though?" she asked

"Im alright, in pain but its nothing i cant handle" i said and my phone wrang

"Dude its your mom" Jack said picking it up off the floor

"Answer it and put it on speaker" i said

"Alright" he said and he did and handed it to Elyse who put it near me

"Hello?" i said

"Alex!, where are you?. Were waiting and its getting bad outside" my mom said

"Im at Jacks" i said

"Why?!, get down here. Now. I swear Alex your so-" she started but i cut her off

"Mom can i explain?!, i was on my way and got into a small car accident" i said

"What?!, is the car okay?" she asked

"Seriously mom!?, i got in a accident and you care about my car?. Wow its so great to know im loved in this family" i said sarcastic

"I am worried but-...i dont know. Im sorry, are you alright?" she asked

"Fine. I'll be home later" i said and hung up on her

"Is everything alright?" Jack asked

"My moms crazy" i said shrugging and he laughed

Later when Elyse left i left with her, i was still kinda freaked out but i went anyways. I went to Elyses house with her since i didnt feel like being all alone. Later that night when we were sitting in the kitchen her parents walked in with my parents.

"Alex, im so glad your alright!" my mom said hugging me

"The car is damaged" i said

"Thats fine as long as your not hurt" she said

"Im fine" i said

"I guess you'll be riding the bus or getting a ride to school for a while" she said

"Im gonna walk, im kinda like in shock by the whole situation" i said

"Thats a little ridiculous" she said

"No" i said

"Whatever, lets go home" she said

"Fine" i said and my phone beeped and i checked the text and it was from Jack saying we were all going skiing in the morning and i had to come

We went home and i watched movies until i wanted to go to bed. I ended up having a nightmare about a car accident way worse then mine. I woke up in a panic attack and jumped out of my bed, i got tangled in the sheets and tripped and my mom came in.

"Alex!, whats going on?" she asked

"I...i just-" i started and she cut me off

"Relax" she said

"Im fine, nightmare" i said

"Good go back to bed you need sleep" she said and left and i went back to bed
