Just Give Me the Summer

I remember the first time I saw Cameron; It was the end of August and school was about to start. I was sitting alone in one of the back seats of the bus on my way to some town that I didn't care about for some summer class that I still didn't care about. I was half asleep when he came up to me, his hair was a long, shaggy brown and his face was tan. I'm not gonna lie about his appearance, he was attractive. I didn't say anything, I wanted him to talk first. "Hi, I'm Cameron and you know you don't have to sit alone." I laughed. "Well I'm Denise and I know I don't have to sit alone. It's the fact that no one really wants to sit next to me." After I said it, I regretted it. I probably shouldn't have said it but before I could take back what I said Cameron had already sat down put his arm around me and said "I want to sit with you."

That was before I was even a freshman. Cameron and I both are about to graduate and I haven't spend more than five minutes with him since.
