Darling You'll Be Okay

Vic's POV
I woke up the next day happier then ever but I couldn't shake this feeling that something bad happened yesterday, oh right, Allie. I couldn't even think of her without being in disgust. If I had told Mike that I was gay, then none of this would have happened and I wouldn't be going on a date with Allie. I'm just glad that things with Jaime seemed to be okay. After laying in bed for about five minutes, I got up and looked for clothes to wear. I found my New Found Glory crewneck and my navy blue skinny jeans, and I slipped on my red vans which made me giggle since they reminded me of Jaime. I looked in the mirror not wanting to straighten my hair so I just put my gray beanie on. After I put my beanie on, I went to Mike's room to wake him and up and of course, he didn't want to wake up.
"Mike, come on man." I said as I shook him. "It's time to get up."
"No mom, five more minutes." Mike said with a groan.
"It's not mom, you moron." I then shoved Mike hard enough to make him fall on the bed. "Wake up!"
"Okay, okay. I'm up." Mike sat up and rubbed his eyes.
"Start getting ready." I then walked out of his room to finished getting ready.
I walked back to my room to make sure I had all my soccer stuff in my bag for soccer. My shinguards were in there, my socks were, my practice uniform was but my shoes weren't. I searched my room and remembered I took then off downstairs, I quickly ran downstairs and got them. I finished putting the things I needed for practice in my bags and went to putting my school stuff in my backpack. After all my things were in my bags, I grabbed them an headed downstairs for breakfast.
"Good morning Vic." My mom said as she handed me a plate get potatoes, eggs and sausage.
"Good morning mama." I then kissed her cheek and hugged her.
"And your brother?" Mike should have been down by now.
"Probably sleeping or getting dressed." I said through a mouth full of eggs.
"I'm here, I'm here. Where's the grub?" Mike said sounding rushed.
"And good morning to you Mike." Mom then handed Mike a plate of food. Mike hugged and kiss mom too the joined me at the table.
"So, your date with Allie is another day closer." Mike said with a nudge. I didn't even want to think of Allie. She wasn't who I even liked because first off I don't even like girls and I'm in love with Jaime. My perfect dimpled faced Jaime.
"Yeah, I'm excited." Mike couldn't tell I was being sarcastic, thank god.
"Where you gonna take her?" Can we not talk about this? I feel like I'm using Allie. Even though Mike is just forcing me to go out with her, but still, I'm not being honest and that isn't good ether.
"I don't know. Movies maybe?" Mike nodded and stopped talking so to avoid him talking again, I went upstairs to brush my teeth and get my bags.
As I was getting my bags, my phone was going off and it was a number I didn't have saved in my phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey Vic, it's Allie!" What the hell? "Sorry I'm using my mom's phone right now."
"Oh hey, Allie, what's up?" I was trying not to sound like an sarcastic ass hole.
"I was wondering, can you give me a ride to school?" Why did she sound so cheerful? It's way to early for cheerfulness.
"Uh, sure. I have to pick up Jaime, then I'll swing by and pick you up."
"Okay, see you then babe!" I didn't even know what to say, I just hung up.
I sighed and scratched the back of my head. Great. Now I'm gonna have to deal with Allie this early in the morning. Whatever. I grabbed my bags and headed back downstairs were Mike was already waiting.
"What's taking you so long?"
"Allie called, we need to pick her up too." I said not wanting to talk about it.
"Okay, cool." Mike said with a grin that I wanted to punch in since he got me in this mess.
"Yeah." I said though a fake smile. We then slid into the seats and I proceeded to drive towards Jaime house. I honked and within seconds Jaime was walking to the car.
"Morning Jaime, we gotta swing by Allies house and pick her up." Mike said while nudging Jaime.
"Oh really? Cool." I stared at Jaime though the rearview mirror and could tell he was faking the smile. I tried to give him a reassuring smile but Jaime just looked away. I couldn't help but feel like the worst person in the world. I put the car in drive and drove to Allie's house which wasn't that far from the school. I honked and she came outside within no time.
"Hey!" She said as she slid into the passages side.
"Good morning." All three of us said in-sync. I could tell Jaime didn't want to see Allie and I couldn't blame him. Allie pulled me in for a hug and I could tell Jaime was shaking his head in disapproval. We pulled apart from the hug and we made our way to school.
"Vic, can you walk me to class?" Allie said while Mike and Jaime were getting out of the car.
"Sure but Jaime is gonna come to since we have class together." Allie nodded and got out of the car. "Hey, let's walk Allie to class then we'll go to class man." I gave Jaime a reassuring smile and he smiled back which exposed his deep dimples. His smile made me melt on the inside. Jaime was perfect.
We made are way inside the building and walked toward Allie's first period which was on the top floor. Allie and Jaime were both in front of me while we climbed the stairs and my eyes were attached to the way Jaime's hips swung back and fourth while walking up stairs. His hips were hypnotizing, I was able to stare at his hips until we reached the top of the stairs. I was a little disappointed because all I wanted to do was watch Jaime walk up the stairs again. We were now waking down the hall, getting closer to Allie's class.
"We're here." Allie turned toward me and leaned in for a hug. "I'll see you later, right?" She was now smiling.
"Uh, I don't think so." I said while scratching the back of my head. "I have practice after school and I'm pretty sure Tony is gonna need a ride home." For once in my life, I was grateful for practice.
"Oh." Allie looked disappointed. "You'll text me though, right?" She was now looking up to me.
"Yeah, sure!" I said giving her another hug. The bell rang which was out cue to walk away. When we were far enough for Allie not to hear us, I spoke.
"Jaime, I'm so sorry about picking up Allie." I said staring at the floor on disappointment. "She called this morning and asked and I couldn't say no cause the questions would be asked." I then lifted my head to look at the love of my life.
"Vic, baby, don't worry. I understand." Jaime was staring back at me with a reassuring smile. "A heads up would have been nice though." I should have told him before we picked him up.
"Sorry. I'm a lousy boyfriend." We were now entering our Forensics class, and took our seats. I noticed Jaime writing something down and I got curious.
"Here." He handed me the note and it read. "Vic, you're not a lousy boyfriend. I love you. You're perfect for me. I love you forever and ever my love. Don't ever think different." I folded the paper back up and tried to hold back the tears, which was a success. The final bell rang and the teacher stood up. I took out the note Jaime gave me and a pen.
"Jaime, I love you so much you're so great. If you were in my shoes I would of thrown Allie out the window already and punched you in the face. Thanks for understanding. And I'm really sorry about you know, last night." I snicked as I slid the paper over to Jaime. He carefully unfolded it. He looked up at me smiling, his dimples exposing. I couldn't help but smile as he dug threw his back pack looking for a pen.
"Oh, Jaime and Vic how lovely of you two to join us. You missed a very exciting lesson. I suggest you two pay close attention since this is important and it's going to be on Friday's quiz and if you fail it will hurt your grade especially you Mr. Fuentes so pay close attention, come see me after class to get the homework from last night."
I nodded. "Alright Mr. Douglass thank you." I smiled and looked down at the text book that was in front of me. Jaime slid the note to me and I unfolded it. "Haha I'm glad to know you would hit my face haha. And don't worry whatever that was, it was amazing. YOU were amazing. I suggest we pay attention so we don't fall behind and fail that quiz, we already ditched don't need to be doing bad. If you don't get it and need help I'm here kay babe?"
I nodded and slipped the paper in my pocket and the assured Jaime I understood. I played close attention to the lesson. Witch was actually easy. We took notes and that will help me for the test, I feel very confident about this. It was pretty exciting once you understood it. Finally the bell rang and well all got up. I walked next to Jaime. Funny we had most classes together. I'm not complaining it was nice. We walked up to Mr. Douglass and got our homework witch was due fist thing in the morning. Thank god we didn't have homework for tonight.
"So did you get it?" I turned to Jaime, wanting to grab his hand, but I couldn't.
"Yeah it was easy, maybe after school and your practice we could do the homework together?" He shrugged.
"Jaime Preciado are you asking me on a homework date?" I said laughing.
"Yeah I mean why not?"
I looked up and the best thought popped into my head. I smiled. "You know what, that actually is a good idea. I'll pick you up after practice and we'll do homework."
"Sounds good, who's house?" He asked.
"Nether. I'll tell you when the time comes." I smirked as we made our way to our health class together.
"Jaime, Victor!" Our teacher Mrs. Arbuzi was standing in the front, tapping her foot. "Where were you guys?!"
"Family emergency." Jaime replied taking his seat.
"And you Victor?"
I groaned. "Mrs. Arbizu you know I dislike being called Victor."
"You were absent so you get no say, you're Victor for today, so get to explaining.
"I wasn't feeling good." I lied.
"You're off the hook for now you two! You guys are lucky nothing happened yesterday just going over the test you guys took Friday."
"What did I get?" Jaime asked cheerfully and I couldn't help but to smile.
"You two both got A's."
I turned around and high fived Jaime when really I just wanted to give him a big kiss. "Good job Hime Time!"
All the students piled in and with in a few moments the bell rang. I didn't really pay much attention to this class period since she was just going on about test review so no need to pay attention. I couldn't help but to stare at how Jaime would just stare off into space. How he would lick his lips when he would space back in. How his foot and penciled tapped on beat. After class the bell rang.
"Walk me to third?" I asked Jaime since we didn't have Physics together.
"Of course baby." He mumbled and we started walking to my third witch was outside in English building, funny how it's in there. We walked to my class.
"Thanks Jaime, I'll see you at lunch?" I asked.
"Yeah, you will." He winked and I melted inside. I just touched his shoulder and mouthed I love you and walked into class. I walked in and took a seat next by my friend Justin.
"Hey man, I heard about you and Allie." He winked as I took my seat next to him.
"Heard about what who told you?" I asked, really confused.
"Allie came in excited in first and told us."
I rolled my eyes. "I'm only doing it to be nice I guess. I mean if I like her then I like her but I only see her as a friend." I lied. If only everyone knew I was gay, then life would be much simpler. Wait no it wouldn't they would call me a freak. It could be much worse. Well, I don't know.
"Well she's cute, but after a while pretty weird and annyoing don't you think?" Justin shook his head."
"And that's my problem Just, I'm not even into her." I groaned as the bell rang.
"Good luck though Vic." He turned to the front and I shook my head. The class went by fast and before I knew it the bell rang. I ran out saying bye to Justin and walked to fourth period, witch was creative writing. That went by pretty fast and before I knew it, I was waiting in my usual spot where I wait for Jaime. I stood there for a couple more moments and I saw Jaime walking down, playing on his phone. I couldn't stop the butterfly's flying from my stomach as I saw my perfect boyfriend walking to me. He looked up and saw me, the biggest smile on his face.
"Hey, you ready?" He asked.
I nodded. "Yes, lets go."
We walked over to our usual spot at the lunch area and Jaime sat next to me, our hands intertwining under the table. The touch of him sending butterfly's threw the bit of my stomach and I couldn't help but to smile at the feeling of Jaime's hand in mines.
"Vic!" I heard from across the quad and saw Allie running. I groaned and Jaime and I pulled away. Me sighing. I already miss the feeling and my hands. She came over to us and jumped on my lap kissing my lips. I groaned at how she hurt my thighs. Like ouch do you just seriously jump on people really? I looked at Jaime who rolled his eyes. Tony sat next buy Jaime.
"Where's Amber?" I asked.
"She went to her class for lunch. Retake a test."
"Want to go walk around then Tony?" Jaime asked.
"Yeah sure lets go."
They got up and walked away, I wanted to go so bad and kiss all over Jaime's face since Tony knows. I just need Jaime's lips.
"Hey Allie, can we hang out later? I got to talk to them." But before she could answer I pushed her off my lap and ran to catch up to my best friend, and the love of my life (who was also my best friend)
"Wait!" I called over as I was running towards them. They both stopped and turned around.
"Wow Allie let you come?" Tony laughed.
"Not really I sort of pushed her off before she could say anything, come on." We all then ran over to the soccer field. It was empty.
"Get it out of your system bros I'll look out for you guys." Tony smiled looking away.
I jumped into Jaime's arms as he twirled me around. (I think that's our thing) I pushed my lips onto his and grabbed his face to deepen the kiss. He put me down on the floor and I started kissing over his beautiful face. "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you Jaime, I love you!" We kissed again and parted.
"You guys done yet?" Tony laughed turning around laughing at us.
Jaime kissed me again. "I love you so much Vic so much!" He kissed me again and I smiled.
"Yeah okay we're done. I think." I laughed as Jaime grabbed my waist and slightly kissed my neck, I've missed his lips all day.
"Why don't I leave you two alone?" Tony winked and started walking away before we could say anything, aww I feel bad we pushed Tony away. I looked at Jaime and crawled onto his lap, I held his hands in mines and smiled. "So how has your day been?" I asked, just happy to be with him really.
"It's better now, and how about yours?" He smiled.
"It's better now." I smiled leaning. I grabbed his face and started kissing all over that price of beauty. I pulled away as he let out a small groan.
"Have you decided on if you're going to tell me what we're doing later?" Jaime smiled down at me.
I laughed shaking my head. "No it's a surprise." And I hope he really likes it. "Consider later tonight our second date." I smiled widely.
"I like the sound of that." He nodded.
"Good babe." I said, leaning in and gently kissing his nose. "I want it to be special, you planned out our first date, so it's only right if I plan this one." I kissed his lops roughly but yet gentle at the same time. I'm hungry for the taste of his sweet lips on mines. He opened his mouth, granting me entrance to his mouth. I traced his lips around with my tongue and slowly slipped my tongue in his mouth. As I traced his tongue with my own memorizing each and every delicious corner of his perfect mouth. I was in heaven as I kept exploring the inside of his lips, the taste of his tongue made my taste buds go wild, jumping and exploding with flavor that I was now learning, and glad for the taste because this flavor is the best thing in the world. In fact, it was driving me absolutely crazy. I brought my hands to his neck and pulled him closer leaving no space in between us, causing the kiss to deepen. Jaime finally pulled away gasping for air.
"Woah," He panted trying to catch his breath. "That was really amazing."
I smiled slowly as I ran my fingers threw his hair. "Come on we should get back to the quads, lunch is over in five minuets anyways." I said as I got up and walked over to my back back. Jaime let out a bit of a dramatic sigh and got up and grabbed his back pack.
"If I can get kissing like that tonight then you can count me in." He whispered in my ear, slapping my ass causing me to yelp. "You're mines." I looked up and he winked at me causing me to blush.
We walked over to Tony who was sitting with the soccer team laughing.
"Oh you guys done?" He whispered and winked at us.
"Shut up." I hid my face laughing.
Jaime looked at me laughing as the bell rang. Tony got up and walked to us. "Vic dude coach is gonna kill us, we missed last night."
"Tony it's fine chill we'll go down together." He laughed as we said our byes.
I turned to Jaime, frowning. "I'll pick you up after I get cleaned up after practice?"
"Yeah for sure sounds good." Jaime nodded.
"Alright. I guess I'll see you later?"
"Yes. See you." Jaime waved off and left, making me once again said to see him walk away.
I walked to my next class, it being 5th period. I finally made my way to the class room and slumped into my seat. The rest of this day will be horrible. Gah it's going to be so slow.

Great really?! First off I ditched practice now this?! Coach is going to murder me. By the time it was practice I was so happy that I didn't notice that I was about half an hour late to practice. I ran from my locker to the locker room were I found Tony, also late.
"Late too man?" I asked as I slid my bag off and started to get undress.
"Yeah! I was with Amber and I lost track of time." Tony and I were both screwed. Coach was probably pissed.
"Man, wait for me. We're already late, what's a few more minutes?" I said as I was going as fast as I could to get on my soccer shoes.
"Why not?" Tony said putting his bags in his locker. I was finally dressed and putting my stuff in my locker when ten minutes passed. Tony and I sprinted our way toward the field hoping we wouldn't slip on the concrete. As we made it on the field we could tell that coach was shaking his head in disapproval.
"Perry, Fuentes, you're both 45 minutes late. What gives? First you two missed now this?!!" He was so mad that you could see the vein in his neck popping out. Gross. "Not speaking eh? Run around the field for the rest of practice. Come on, hustle!!" Tony and I were now sprinting around our practice area while every other player was doing drills.
I was jogging around with Tony as he started laughing. "This is better than doing drills."
I shrugged. "I mean we run a lot anyways."
After about twenty minuets of pure jogging the coach stopped us. "You two weren't here yesterday and then you guys are late?! You two are the star players on this team, especially you Vic I expected you to be more of a role model being captain and all, and you Tony you're the best on the D-line that we got."
We stared at the floor as I saw him get more angry. "Fine, you guys aren't playing next game."
"Diaz come on!" Tony's head shot up.
"I don't want to hear it, get yourselfs together it's just one game. I don't want to see you guys miss a practice again got it?! Now keep running!" He yelled as he walked back to the team.
"You two will be wonderful water boys!" He shouted as Tony and I started to jog.
"Dude that's so not fair!" Tony grumbled.
"I'm sorry." I frowned as I looked down.
"Nah it's okay yesterday was really worth it actually." Tony shrugged as I looked forward.
After about two more hours of running around the field, running up and down the hill that I hated so much, doing snakes, and about twenty suicide drills, Couch Diaz finally called the team for the group huddle before he dismissed us. We all walked over and took our usual knee.
"Practice is canceled for tomorrow and we will be here on Thursday morning, and after school." He paused and glared right at Tony and I. "Don't miss or be late, or you'll be doing exactly what Fuentes and Perry where doing, now go on home and get rest, break." We all clapped and got up.
We walked back to the locker room and I quickly changed into my clothes and grabbed my back pack and soccer bag.
"I'll see you in the morning Tone." I said as I shut my locker.
"Why the rush where you going?" He asked as he slipped off his shirt.
"Have uhh a uh well you know." I mumbled and looked down.
"Oh." He grinned looking at me. "Have fun lover boy." He winked at me and I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever see you."
"See ya Vic." Tony called as I walked out of the locker room. Once I was across the school and almost to the student parking lot where my car was parked I took my phone out of the pocket in my jeans and unlocked it, quickly scrolling to Jaime's contact. After a couple of rings Jaime answered.
"You done?!" He asked sounding a little too excited.
"Yes sir, just let me get home and get ready, I'll swing by to pick you up around 4:30 alright?"
"Sounds good see you then." He hung up and I sighed. I clicked to my messages.
To: Jaime<3'I love you.' I typed and pressed sent.
I unlocked my car and threw my back pack and soccer bag in the back seat. I then slid into the passenger seat and sighed as I put the keys into the ignition. I'm so tired, I ran so much. But I must hurry so I can see Jaime. Speaking of Jaime, I looked down as my phone buzzed. I laughed as his name boomed on the screen.
From Jaime<3 'Yeah yeah hurry up and just drive Fuentes I miss you /:'
I put my phone in my pocket obeying his orders. I began to back out of the parking space my car was and made my way onto the street. Sort of driving faster than I would because I just want to get home really. Once I pulled into the drive way of my house I ran to the door and quickly unlocked it. No one was home, witch was kind of good since I wouldn't get questioned. I ran to my room and pulled out a fresh pair of boxers, my gray skinny jeans, my Title Fight shirt, and my black zip up sweater. I then ran to the bathroom and closed the door and threw my clothes on the floor. I grabbed a towel from under the cabinet and turned on the water. This shower better go fast.

Okay yeah ten minuet shower that actually was fast. I quickly dressed and brushed my hair, it can stay wet I really don't care I just want to see Jaime. I quickly ran to the hallway closet we had down stairs and grabbed a couple of blankets. I ran to up to my room and grabbed my guitar and my pick. Hopefully this goes well. I then walked back to my cabinets and grabbed all the junk food and candy I can find. I then put it in one of my snack bags and threw it on my shoulders. I walked to Mike's room and grabbed my polaroid camera that he would always take. Once I had everything I needed I grabbed my keys and phone and headed back to my car I locked my house up and went to my car, opening the trunk and threw all the stuff I had in my hands into it, I closed the trunk and ran to the car. I hope Jaime likes this little surprise for him. I looked in the back and saw that my back pack was in there witch was good since we can do homework I guess. I backed out and started driving down the street to where my love awaits. I left my car running and got out. I quickly ran to his door excited to see him. I looked at his drive way and of course his parents aren't here. I knocked on the door and I heard foot steps running. With in seconds the door swung open and closed quickly locking it. He scoped me up in his arms and began running to my car. He dropped me down and I opened the door for him, laughing. He got in and I quickly ran to the other side to get into the drivers seat. I closed the door and buckled my seat belt. I turned to him and quickly pecked his lips.
"So you're going to tell me?" He asked as I started to drive.
"No not yet Jaime it's a secret. I hope you really like it though." I glanced at the clock on my dashboard and it read it was only 4:45 I sighed and grabbed his hand, locking our fingers with my free hand. Jaime grabbed my CD case and put in a CD.
"What one did you put in?"
He shrugged. "Going with your shirt and put in Title Fight."
I laughed as I jumped onto the free way. "Amazing choice."
Within the next hour of laughing, singing, talking, and I love you more fights, I was finally pulling into the exit of the free way of Newport beach. I know I know beach right? No, actually I know this spot on this hill that over looks all three beaches next to Newport, and I decided to take Jaime there and lay out a blanket and look at the stars and stuff, hopefully he does like it. I shook my head as I glanced at Jaime.
"Do you want to tell me now?"
"Nope." I laughed. "You'll see in about five or ten minuets."
He groaned. "Fine."
And just like I promised I with in five minuets I parked my car on the hill and turned it off.
"What are we doing up here?" Jaime looked around confused.
"Come on you'll see." I smiled as I popped my trunk open. We both got out and I lifted up my trunk, taking out everything. I laid out the blanket next to my car so we could over look the cities. I handed one blanket to Jaime and one for me. We sat down and I dropped all the food in the middle.
"I hope you liked what I packed, see what I have planned is we could just sort of I don't know, chill up here." I opened a can of soda and took a sip. "It's sort of cool how you could see the cities and stuff."
Jaime looked down to the food and the city view. "Oh my god Vic this is perfect."
"Oh and, I've been writing a song and I want you to hear it."
"You want me?" He asked. "Vic, you never want me to hear you sing, I've never heard you sing."
"I know but this is sort of for well for you. Well not you but you know you inspired me to write it. Like you pushed me to write it."
"Well do you want to play now?" He asked laying on his stomach.
I smiled. "Sure."
I got up and walked to my car, taking out my guitar. I took out the pick in my pocket and walked back to Jaime and plopped down on the same spot that I was once in.
"I'm sort of nervous." I smiled shyly.
"I'm pretty sure it's great." He rubbed my knee. "One ever you're ready."
I sighed and nodded. I began to strum the intro and closed my eyes taking a deep breath. I felt the guitar sooth me and I felt relived, funny what music does to me.

I finished the last notes and sighed, placing my guitar on the floor. I looked up at Jaime who's eyes where wide.
"Vic you sing so,"
"Horrible?" I leaned back.
"No so beautiful, I'm amazed you wrote that?"
I nodded and gulped, scratching the back of my head. "Is it bad?"
"No I, I loved it." He smiled as I crawled over to him and laid down next to him wrapping my legs with his.
And in this moment, as I stared back at Jaime in his eyes, I could say that I've never felt truly happier in my life.
