Darling, You'll Be Okay

I got changed back in my cloths and walked back down to the living room .
Jaime vic and tony were sitting in silence

"Where's mike?" I asked siting next to vic and Jaime

"He said he had to do something , I don't know" tony said scratching his kneck

"Oh , he obviously hates me " I said sitting further into the couch

" no Jess ,I'm sure he doesn't hate you he probably just had to go somewhere" Jaime said putting his arm around me

" yeah" I said not believing it , something was up and I had to find out

" we'll I'm going home to unpack and sleep because I'm tired , What are you up to tomorrow?" I said standing up

"We're having band practice till about 3 , come over then and we can hang out on your last day before shool starts again Jaime said bringing me into. A hug
" okay " I said moving to vic

" call me if you need me , don't give up " he whispered in my ear
next I hugged tony who tugged me really tight

"He's just an ass don't worry about him "tony said

Once I got home I went to my room and layed on my bed

"Why aren't I good enough?" I whispered as tears started stinging my eyes
I fell asleep after that considering I got up at 3 am that morning

When I woke up I wasn't in the mood to move so I didn't . I rolled over an checked my phone it was 4pm
Wow so this is the latest I've slept in ever
I sighed still curious on why mike was avoiding me when my phone went off braking me from my thoughts

I saw Jaimes name flashing on the screen and I answered it lying back on my bed

" hello?" I answered still sleepy
" Jess! Why didn you come over?"
" shit I'm sorry I just woke up.. I promise ill be over " I said sitting up
" Jess , you didn't .. You know did you?" He asked scared
" no hime honestly"
"It's not that I don't believe you but .. I'm goig to check your wrists okay?" He said
I sighed .
" whatever" I spat " ill be over in 15" I hung up the phone and got up still in. The cloths from yesterday
I took my shirt off and replaced it with a batman one
I brushed my hair and put my batman and Spider-Man bracelets on .i grabbed my phone and pulled on a black vans hoodie tony had let me keep after I borrowed it and forgot to give back.

" good afternoon sleepy head" Corey said as I came down the stairs
" I love to sleep I'm sorry!" I shouted as I walked towards the door
" love you ill be with the guys" I yelled

I ran out the door and across the street noticing mikes car wasn't in the drive way what a surprise

I opened the door and peeked in the living room Jaime was on the couch watching tv
He sat up and smiled

"Hey Jess come sit"he said patting next to him

I sat down and leaned into his chest
"Where's vic and turtle?" I asked watching some reality tv show he had on.
"Out at the store getting dinner, hope burgers are ok" he said resting his arm on me

"And mike?" I asked knowing he didn't know

" I don't know he took off after practice"he said getting up and putting a disk in the DVD player and sitting back down

" she's the man okay?" He asked
"Yeah it's my favorite movie" I muttered still upset
He sat up

" Jess let me see your wrists " he said holding his hand out

"Jaime I didn't-"

I unzipped the hoodie and gave him my right arm
He took it and flipped it over looking for fresh cuts not seeing any he grabbed my other arm and looked at it , satisfied he brought me into a hug.

" I'm sorry Jess I just care about you"
He then took my right arm and started to looked at the scars

"You don't mind do you? " he asked
" no go ahead" I said watching him as he traced over the words
" fuck Jess , I honestly want to kill the people that hurt you "he said still looking at them

Then his finger stopped at y suicide attempt.

" your honestly the most beautiful girl ever and those people who hurt you? Are fucking stupid that they would bully a girl to that extent I love you your like my sister and if anyone bothers you like that again let me know and I swear to god ill knock sense into them."

" you'll prove then wrong someday" he said looking up at me

" I doubt it" I said
He let go of my hand and sat back as I did the same

We started to watch the movie when he whispered in my ear
