Apocalyptic Love
Yellow eyes glinted in the darkness. Watching me. Waiting. Stalking.
I’d felt its gaze on me, tracking my steps for the past few nights. I couldn’t be sure what it wanted and why it followed, but if it wanted to eat me, it would have already. Regardless, I didn’t dare go home. Instead my grip tightened on my blade and I circled the jungle, hoping to rid myself of the shadow I’d picked up.
It wanted something. That much was obvious. But I wasn’t going to let it get what it desired.
I would kill it before it got close.
