I Bite My Tongue So You Don't Hear Me

Dan stayed silent,his silence scared her. She didn't want to speak,she needed him to reply.
'Really?' He stuttered out
'Yes,that basic check up results came' She sniffed pointing at the letter that was on the coffee table.
'Wow' He said. She couldn't tell wether or not he was alright or freaking out inside.
'Mhm' She mumbled,tearing up some more as he stayed silent. She looked down once more.

'Thats great!' He exclaimed loudly making her shudder.
'You think so?' She asked looking up.

'Definately,we've been together for a while,we are engaged. I love you and you love me. I can't picture doing this with anyone but you!' He beamed.
She smiled a little,his words made her heart beat rapidly.

'Seriously!' She responded hugging him tight 'I love you'
'I love you too,babe' He smiled kissing her forehead.

Suddenly her emotions being hidden,being fragile was all explainable.
But shock of pregnancy would soon set in.
He is in a band.
He is due on tour next year.
How can he? How would the guys react?

So many questions ran through his head.
But he didn't know how he should feel.
