We Were Drunk But It's Not A Mistake

Chapter 12

Chapter 12
Cali’s POV
“Tyler.” I shook him.
“5 more minutes.” He grumbled.
“Babe it’s 11you need to get up.” I told him.
“Please.” He moaned.
“Tyler c’mon the Stanley Cup is here.” I replied.
“I’m up!” he shot straight up.
“Good.” I smiled.
“Where are you going?” he asked.
“I’ve got to work today.” I answered.
“My head is killing me.” He complained.
“I’ve got something for that.” I told him walking into the hall and back.
“What’s this?” he asked as I placed the basket in front of him.
“It’s my last gift to you. It’s a hangover kit.” I answered.
“Take these.” I told him handing him 2 Advils and a Powerade.
“Thanks.” He replied.
“You’re welcome. I’m leaving in a few minutes but I’ll be back by 9. There is leftovers in the fridge.” I informed him.
“Alright I’ll see you later.” He smiled.
“Love you my old man.” I told him.
“Love you too and I’m not old.” He replied.
“I’ll see you later.” I said and left for work.
“Hey sis.” My older sister Aishling said as I walked in.
“Hey.” I replied.
“How hung over was he?” she asked.
“Not that bad he threw up once last night other than that he’s fine.” I answered.
“Great your first appointment gut arrived.” She informed me handing me my schedule.
“Hi I’m Cali and I’ll be your bridal consultant. I’m looking for Krista.” I said.
“Oh my gosh hey!” Krista said giving me a hug.
“Hey! I didn’t know you were renewing your vows?” I replied.
“Well we were going to tell everyone this week.” She informed me.
“Well I’m glad I am a part of it.” I smiled.
“So am I.” she replied.
“So who are you with today?” I asked.
“My mother and daughters.” She informed me.
“Are the girls getting their dresses today?” I asked.
“Could we?” she asked.
“I can ask Marc. He does all of our kids.” I answered her.
“Then we can do it after.” She replied.
“Alright I’ll give him a call. Now what do you want to look like?” I said.
“I want to look younger. I want strapless, like a fit and flare, and not too much bling.” She explained.
“Price point?” I asked.
“$5,000.” She answered.
“Alright Krista will come with me and I will give Marc a call.” I told everyone.
It was nice helping Krista find her dress. She had to be one of the sweetest women ever. I never really got to meet with her but it seemed like we could be really good friends.
“Alright last time looking at yourself.” I told her.
“I will say you are really good at this.” She replied.
“Thanks I try.” I responded.
“So Marc called and said he can see you now. Tell him that you need it by next week.” I informed them.
“Alright thank you.” Krista said.
“I’ll call you for your fitting.” I replied.
“Will I see you next week?” she asked.
“Hopefully.” I answered.
Let’s just say working a long day and heels do not mix. My feet were killing me during my third appointment. I couldn’t take it anymore so I broke down and called Tyler.
“Hey babe can you bring me my gold flats. There in the bathroom.” I told him.
“Alright I’ll be there in like 10 minutes.” He replied.
“Thank you so much. Love you.” I said.
“Love you too.” He replied and hung up.
“You are a lifesaver.” I said as Tyler walked in.
“I’m guessing these are them?” he asked handing me the bag.
“Yeah.” I answered looking in it.
“Tyler what are you doing here?” My mother asked.
“Just came to give Cali her new shoes, Mrs. Caledonia.” Tyler answered.
“Tyler you are my son-in-law now call me Maggie.” My mother told him.
“Thanks again I should be back soon.” I said bringing Tyler into the back room.
“Alright I should be bringing Marshall to the park soon.” He informed me.
“Okay I’ll text you when I get out of here.” I smiled.
“Alright I’ll be waiting.” He joked.
“Make sure you take the left overs out of the fridge.” I told him.
“Alright I will.” He replied.
“I love you.” I kissed his cheek.
“Love you too.” He blushed.
