Falling in Love With a Necromancer...

Barrels

Balin got the joy to look after the guards, while we picked barrels out. I sighed. Why were we using barrels to escape, but we really didn't have an option, so we went with it. The barrels were ready to be rolled away. Some of the wine barrels were not useful because of the opening, which would make a lot of noise. In the end, we found 15 good ones, one for each Dwarf. Some of them were so big, that Bilbo was a bit scared that he would get punched, and get bruises. Fili offered to be in a barrel with Bilbo, to use the weight, so I was in a barrel with Kili. Which I don’t think either of us minded all that much. Kili sat down in the barrel first, and I carefully stepped in after him. He sat me on his lap, and I buried my face in the crook of his neck. We were rolled into the water, after making sure that all of the small cracks were filled with moss, to prevent water from leaking in to the barrel. I curled up into a small ball, and I fell asleep
*Kili’s Point of View*

I looked down at Eleniel, and I smiled. She looked so peaceful, when she was sleeping. I leaned my head back on the wall of the barrel, and I closed my eyes. Ever since we started on this journey, this was probably one of the safest places we had been. I think I had been asleep for about an hour, when I heard Eleniel stir. I opened my eyes, and I looked down at her. Her eyes were tightly closed shut, and she softly cried out. She was having a nightmare, I held her tightly in my arms, and I tried to shake her awake.

“Eleniel…” I said, softly. After several tries, I did manage to awake her. Her eyes were glossy, and she seemed a bit out of it.

“Kili….” She said, softly. I smiled down at her, and I leaned down and kissed her forehead.

“I’m here, Eleniel…” I heard her sigh, and she nuzzled her head into my neck, and my arms tightened around her.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her. She looked up at me, and she smiled.

“I missed you…more than you know…” She said, softly. I reached up, and I tucked a stray piece of hair behind her slightly pointed ear.

“I know…” I placed my hand on her neck, and I brought her closer to me…

*Eleniel’s point of View*
I felt Kili’s hand on my neck, and I leaned forward, and I pressed my lips against his own. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and my fingers tangled in his brown hair. A few minutes later, he pulled away, and he left our foreheads touching.

“You don't know how long I have been waiting to do that ever since I saw you in that cell, but everyone else was around…” Kili smiled. I giggled, and I kissed his nose.

“I can tell…How long until we reach Lake Town?” I asked him.

“At least a day…” he answered.

“A day?!” I groaned, and I couldn't see his facial expression, so I snapped my fingers and a small ball of light appeared, near his face, and I smiled.

“What? You’re stuck with me.” He smiled.

“That’s the problem…” I winked, and he frowned.

“I’m kidding, you know I love you…” I said, giving him a quick kiss.

He smiled. “I know..”
