Torn Between Both Good & Bad

Bri looked at her curiously too, Bella sensed that she was nervous. Bri:” Ah Edward, could I borrow Bella for a moment, if she doesn’t mind that is?” They both looked at Bella who shook her head, then she walked away with Bri staying outside. Bella:” What’s up?” Bri:” Did Edward tell you everything?” She began playing with her fingers looking down. Bella:” He tells me everything but all he told me was you’re visiting Jasper.” Bri:” Is everyone here so modest? (Bella nodded with a smirk) I would like to tell you if you want to know.” Bella nodded, Bella:” To be honest, I think we’re going to get along and I’d like to know but only if you want to tell me that is.” Bri told her, Bella:” Wait, so on your birthday a newborn bit you, you didn’t turn or die but no one sucked the venom out of you like Edward did to me?” Bri nodded, Bella told her that’s weird. Bri:” Can I see your scar?” Bella lifted her sleeve up and showed her, Bri moved her shirt to the side to show Bella hers. Bri:” Can I ask something?” Bella:” Sure of course.” Bri:” I think Emmett has problems.” Bella laughed, Bella:” Well that’s not asking me anything, but why do you think that?” Bri:” I know he’s Rosalie’s mate but when Alice asked to play make over with me, when I came down the stars I heard him say: Whoa, someone can clean up nice!” Bella smirked, Bella:” Rose must’ve loved that.” Bri:” Ya sure she did. She loved it so much that she went hunting after storming out. I’ve been trying to avoid them both…I just asked Carlisle he has something I could do at the hospital while everyone’s in school.” Bella:” Ya why don’t you go to school?” Bri:” I already graduated and would pass on going again.” She nodded, then smiled. Bella:” I have an idea. Follow me.” She grabbed Bri’s hand and they went into the house, Bella:” Edward would you mind if I take Bri to meet my dad. I’d like to suggest what he give her some odd jobs around the station or something to give her something to do. Plus it keeps her away from Emmett and Rose.” Edward:” Ok but be careful. Guess she doesn’t like school much to want to do it over?! Actually we need to keep Emmett away from her.” Bri(mumbled):” And me away from Rose.” He smirked and Bella grabbed Bri’s hand again, Bella:” Come on, Charlie will love you!” Bri smiled and climbed into the truck buckling right up, Bri:” I’m in love with your truck!” Bella:” Really, not many people are because it’s so old.” Bri:” I like vintage cars and trucks. Besides it might be old but that’s what gives it it’s character. Can I ask you something?” Bella:” Ya of course, you can ask me anything.” Bri:” What’s there to do for fun in this town?” Bella laughed, Bella:” Not much, there’s small shops in town but mostly the hospital and schools. The bigger shops and stores are in the larger towns near by. Oh and then there’s the beach called La Push.” Bri:” A beach, but it’s always cold here.” Bella nodded, Bella:” Ya but it’s good to breath in the fresh air and we get some warm sunny days too.” They drove in silence for a while, Bella:” Can I ask something?” Bri giggled and told her of course. Bella:” What’s your full name? If you don’t mind me asking that is.” Bri but her bottom lip nervously, she took a breath calming down. Bri:” Amberia Jasmine Whitlock, our mom would call me Jazz when we were younger but after a while I associated it with something bad, so Jasper tried to make me feel better by calling me Jazzie. I told Alice that I know Jasper loves her and she him. That although Carlisle might not say it often but he’s proud of his children. I also know that no matter what or who tries to come between you and Edward, you both will love each other forever.” Bella looked at her when the pulled into the police station, Bella:” How do you know that?” Bri:” You know how some people say they have a sixth sense, like some say they’re psychic. Mine is that I just…I sense how people feel and I just know.” Bella nodded and climbed out of the truck, Bri followed keeping close and trying to keep calm. Bella went right over to a man with a moustache and he stood up looking curiously. Charlie:” Bells, is everything ok?” Bella:” Ya Charlie. I was just wondering something. Oh this is Bri, Bri this is my dad Charlie.” Charlie shook her hand, Bella:” I’m wondering if you have any odd jobs that she might be able to do. She’s getting tired of staying cooped up at the Cullens.” Charlie looked at Bri, Charlie:” Ah, how old are you?” Bri:” I just turned twenty not too long ago.” He nodded, Charlie:” I’m sure I could find something for you to do.” Bri:” Oh well thank you Mr. Swan, that’s real nice of you.”
He asked if she wanted to start next week and she agreed. Bella:” Shall we head back so you can be tortured by Rosalie?!” Bri looked at her giggling, Bri:” Rosalie doesn’t bother me much…” Bella looked at her curiously and they got in heading back. They ran into the house and Jasper smiled, he went over to Bri and pulled her away to talk to her. Jasper:” Alice told me you have a sixth sense on how people are feeling? (Bri nodded looking skeptically at her big brother) How do I feel?” Bri looked at him tilting her head to the side. She walked around him, and finally extended her hand to gently brush his arm when she opened her eyes looking at him. Bri:” You’re grateful that you found Alice and that you both found Carlisle. You’re now grateful for a second chance at life, although when you first found Carlisle you didn’t fully understand how he could feast off of animal blood compared to the human blood you’ve survived on for so long. The longer you stay with Carlisle the more you really are understanding and enjoying the lifestyle. Your love for Alice is indescribable, as hers is for you. Hmm, you’re happy that Edward finally found his one true love but I sense that you’re fearful…Wait, your fearful for me, but why? I know you’re thrilled to see me and all grown up you had been worried about me. I’m the main memory, human memory that is that you couldn’t bear to lose.” Alice was watching in the doorway leaning in it, and smiling to herself. She saw Jasper pull Bri into a hug, and she hugged him back both smiling. Bri:” Jasper, why’re you fearful of me?” Jasper:” I don’t want anything bad to happen like it has. I hate the fact that a vampire but you but on the other hand I’m grateful since it brought you to me. I-I don’t want to lose you again, to death or death and this life. I enjoy my second life, but wouldn’t wish it upon anyone unless they’re sure of it first. But since you’re surrounded by your new family, you’ll do good if this life chooses you.” Bri began crying, Jasper pulled away and wiped the tears away with his cold thumbs. Emmett and Edward walked in from outside, when Emmett saw that Bri was crying, he looked hurt like he was upset about something. “She’s even more beautiful when she’s crying. I have to stop thinking like this, I have my Rose,” Emmett. Alice jumped up and went over to Edward with a smile, Alice:” I just saw Amberia tell Jazz how he feels, now I want to see if she can do one of you.” Emmett was all too eager to go first, Bri did what she did with Jasper. She looked over Emmett closely, tilting her head to the side and walking around him. She closed her eyes and extended her hand out as if reading him but her eyes shot open all too quickly and she turned to run outside. “No, no, no, I don’t want to come between Rosalie and Emmet. I don’t understand at all, he loves her more then anything in their world they share, and yet he likes me. Why me, could I stay here if he likes me. I’m not eve as beautiful as Rosalie or even remotely beautiful. She loves Emmett more then the world, I know she wants a baby more than anything too but come one she saved Emmett so Carlisle could turn him for her. Emmett needs to forget about me as I him,” Bri. Edward:” Whoa, that’s remarkable! (Alice smiled, Emmett looked purely confused) When she was reading you if you will, she got a lot. She knows you love Rose more then anything but she doesn’t want to come between the both of you since she knows you like her. She doesn’t understand why since she doesn’t think of herself as beautiful or even close to beautiful like Rose. She knows Rose loves you and in fact saved you so that Carlisle could turn you for her. She says that you need to forget her as she does you.” Emmett thought about what Bri thought, he smirked and went to find her knowing right where she’d be.
Bri was in the woods, she was about to climb up a tree but hadn’t just yet. She was feeling strange and as she was digging in the dirt, she saw that it moved when she moved her hand and didn’t even touch it. It was confusing for her, she moved her hand in a circular motion and saw the dirt start to form a little cyclone. “That’s weird…”Bri. When she heard someone coming behind her, she jumped up and began climbing up the closest tree, but Emmett launched himself up the closest tree to him and followed her. Emmett:” Bri, Bri wait. I just wanted to say that you’re right. I will forget you because I love my Rose.” Bri smiled, Emmett gave her a hug and told her to hold onto his back while he carried her down. Rosalie meanwhile was coming back from hunting, when she saw Bri dangling from her monkey man’s back. This had Rosalie seething. Bri:” He was just being polite and helping me down the tree. I think it’s great that you saved him and gave him a second chance at life, because you’re so amazingly beautiful he gets to spend and share it with you. It’s just purely perfect and you’re both absolutely perfect together. I know how much you love him, I was telling Emmett just that, and that I wouldn’t even dream of coming between you both.” Rosalie was taken aback and went to say something, but closed her mouth and didn’t.
