Jamie's POV

I woke up early once again. This time it was 8 am. I jumped in the shower and got dressed in a pair of black shorts and my mickey mouse sweater that Josh bought me last year for christmas. We have matching sweaters now because I bought him one for his birthday. Anyways. My family was out of town again, as usual, so I went downstairs and made myself some breakfast.

I think I'll ask Josh to stay the night tonight...

I finished my breakfast, grabbed my guitar and went outside to write some new stuff.

I finished writing the lyrics I had sung in my lyric book and set it down beside me.

"Hi. Oh my god. That was perfect."

I looked up to see a girl about my height with long, dark hair and glasses standing awkwardly in my yard. I was stunned for a moment because I had never seen this girl before, nor have I ever sung for anyone before so I was shocked that someone liked my song.

"Oh, hi. Um thank you." I said, standing.

"Oh, I'm Krisi, by the way! I just moved into the house across the street. I saw you playing and I wanted to hear. I love music so much."

I laughed and stuck my hand out.

"I'm Jamie. It's nice to meet you."

I invited the girl inside and she's fucking perfect. We bonded over music and danced around my kitchen like idiots. The time had gone by fast and before I knew it, it was almost noon. I decided to check my phone and I had a missed call from Josh.

"Hey you wanna meet a couple of my friends and get some lunch with us?" I asked Krisi, preparing to call Josh back.

"Sure! I'm gonna go grab my wallet and I'll meet you outside in 10?"

I nodded my head at her and dialed Josh's number.

"What's up, whore?" he answered.

"Hey faggot, you and Max want to get some lunch? I met someone today that I want y'all to meet. She's cool as fuck."

"Haha yeah. Where do you want us to meet you?"

I thought about it for a minute.

"Well, first you need to come pick me up cause I don't feel like walking and second, I don't really care. I'm just hungry." I said, running up the stairs to grab my wallet and fedora.

I checked myself in the mirror while Josh rambled on about something Max did this morning. I walked back downstairs and grabbed my keys and went outside in time to see Krisi walking back towards my house and a familiar black car pulling into the driveway. I didn't even realize that he had left his house. I hung up the phone while he was in mid sentence and walked toward the car.

"Come on, Krisi!"

She smiled at me and jumped in the car.

"Josh, Max, this is Krisi!" I said as I buckled my seat belt.

I hope Max likes her as much as I think he will....he needs a good girlfriend.
