A Surreal Life
Chapter Four.
I grabbed Kayla an Brad who where chatting over coffee in our kitchen and ran out of the apartment.
"Where are we going?!" Kayla giggled following me. By that time, we had reached my car.
"WE, lady and gentleman, are going on the set of GLEE!!!!!!!!" I screamed the last part!
"What?!" Brad said.
"Yeah Darren invited me and I asked if you guys could tag along!" I smiled.
We chatted happily all the way to the bar. As we got closer, I saw the street was closed off and started to get nervous. What if he forgot to give our names? Our what if this is all a cruel joke?
"Name?" the guard asked as we approached him.
"Um...um Ashley. Ashley Bright and 2 guests."
"Ahhh yes miss Bright! Mr. Criss is waiting for you! You can park right here and then we'll escort you to his trailer."
"Thank you..." I looked at his name tag "Cooper!"
"Your welcome."
I parked and I could feel that all three of us where tense. Cooper's assistant, Carl, brought us to a trailer and left us there. I knocked quietly and could feel Brad and Kayla hold their breath.
"Darren! Hurry up they're here!" Chris called opening the door. "Hi Honey!" Chris called pulling me into a tight hug.
"Hi Chris." suffocating a little bit in his hug. He pulled me in and was about to close the door.
"Wait! Come in guys!" I laughed.
Kayla and Brad were just standing outside in shock not able to move.
"COME ON!" I said going back out to pull them in. They just stand there awkwardly. "Chris this is my best friends Kayla and Brad."
"Nice to meet you both." he smiled kissing Kayla on the hand and man hugging Brad.
I saw two very different emotions in my friends eyes. Kayla was in awe: she always loved Christopher and admire his high fashion sense. Brad was admiration but a little bit of...envy? Passion? Love? We both knew that Brad was gay but could he have been secretly crushing on Chris Colfer? I mean it's possible, I'm crushing HARD on Darren Criss which is no secret for my friends but Brad? With Chris? They would actually be cute together...
I was pull out of my day dreaming by a door opening right besides me.
"Oh hey Ash! I'm sorry I was finishing getting ready for the scene." said an overly attractive Darren.
He had is gelled back hair and was wearing relatively dark clothes for once. The was wearing black 3/4 pants -like Blaine always wears- with a light blue shirt covered by a black overall, and oh hell was it sexy! Of course that, I would never admit.
"Oh I'm sorry Mr. Anderson I was looking for Mr. Criss... Have you seen him near?" I asked very serious, raising my eyebrows in question.
We could hear Chris, Brad and Kayla all laughing lightly at my joke and it was pretty hard not to laugh myself.
"Oh I'm sorry Miss Bright I think he just ran out! Can I leave him a message?" He asked politely.
"Oh well just tell him that his tardiness is forgiven considering that we just arrived ourselves."
"Sure will do Miss Bright."
"Thank you very much Mr. Anderson."
At this point, neither of us could contain our laughter and so we laughed out loud. We were interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Hey man! Having a party in here that I don't know of?!" None other than Dean Geyer says, walking in.
I know I was on the set of Glee but I never actually planned on meeting any other cast members. Chris must have sensed that all three of us were a bit starstruck because he cleared his throat and proceeded to introduce us.
"Dean, this is Ashley Bright, she's a new friend of ours and her friends Brad and Kayla."
I think that I saw Chris eyes linger a tiny bit longer than normal on Brad when he pronounced his name. Then again this could all be part of my imagination.
"Nice to meet you." I smiled shyly.
"Well, the pleasure is all mine Ashley." He said bending a little and gabbing my hand in order to place a light kiss on it.
I blushed slightly and when Kayla's turn came, she blushed HARD. Dean saluted Brad who responded slightly before turning his attention back on Chris who was complimenting his outfit.
"Anyways guys, Ryan says we have too be on set in 5. Shall we?" He said gesturing to the door he just entered.
Darren and Chris grabbed their coats - I guess they'll be doing an outside scene - and then Darren ran in front of us to hold the door.
That is how, in little groups of two, we made our way to what would be our very first live Glee scene.
"Where are we going?!" Kayla giggled following me. By that time, we had reached my car.
