Amelia Scarlett Williams is a shy, insecure, and kind girl who is sixteen years old.. She's an honor student at Rose Connor High School. She's only got a small tight-knit group of friends. Her mom left when she was very young, therefore she lives with her father and her protective brothers. (One of them is older, the other one is her twin.) She's nervous for her sophomore year, but little does she know, she's in for some surprises.

16 year old Wesley James Stryder is the complete opposite of Amelia. He's confident, outgoing, and well, he can be nice. He's only keeping his grades up so he can remain quarterback on the football team, the Giants, at Rose Connor High. He's popular, with many friends. His family life is decent, but he has many disagreements with his family. He has 1 older brother, who attends college. He's not too happy that summer is ending and school is about to start, but his sophomore year will be one he won't forget.

What happens when these two meet suddenly, in a way many would say is fate, and suddenly they're slowly falling in love?
