Miss Fire

Daisy Hayes was your average all American girl. She grew up in a small town and despite being a semi-famous author she still lives in the same town. That was mainly because of her 18 year old brother Mike who she has been taking care of since their parents died three years prior. Now she has no reason to stay there. Her brother was murdered in a mugging gone wrong.

To get away from the town her brother lived and died in, Daisy moves to New York. Not only does she need to get away, she needs to find inspiration for her latest novel; a novel that's sure to immortalize her brother's name. But she'll soon realize that moving to New York was far more than she could handle, especially when he flies into her life...
