Just for a Moment

So maybe Alex picked out a horror movie because he knew that he would get scared and end up cuddled into Jacks side, but who could blame the boy? Jack was cute and he was amazing at giving cuddles. The movie drew to an end and Alex was curled into Jacks chest with his head hid in his shoulder, subtly inhaling his scent. Jack smelt amazing and it made Alex feel like he was at home, Jack made him feel that he was at home.

As Alex heard silence from the TV, Alex hesitantly lifted his head from Jacks shoulder and bit his lip slightly with a small blush. "Hey Lexy" He heard Jack murmur and butterflies started to fly around his stomach at the nickname. He bit down on his lip harder and cuddled closer into Jacks warm chest, it made him feel happy and safe.

"Hey Jacky" His voice was soft and barely there. He glanced at Jack through his eyelashes and smiled shyly.

"You tired?" The younger boy asked as he ran his fingers through Alex's hair. Alex leaned into Jacks touch before nodding softly.

"Yeah, I am" He whispered softly and hesitantly pulled away from Jack and stood up, stretching his back out. He looked around before biting his lip and glancing back to Jack "Wh-where am I going to sleep?" He watched as Jack hesitated before glancing around and looking back to Alex.

"Um, you can stay in here and I'll go to sleep on the couch" Alex shook his head as soon as the words left Jacks mouth.

"No, that's not fair. I can sleep on the couch, I don't mind" He smiled softly but Jack just shook his head.

"No, you're a guest and should be treated properly so I'll sleep on the couch and you will have the bed." Alex laughed slightly and shook his head.

Alex giggled and clapped his hands slightly "Yay! I knew that you would agree with me in the end" He grinned at Jack triumphantly and Jack only rolled his eyes.

"That's not fair, you tricked me" The younger boy pouted and looked at Alex with wide puppy dog eyes, and Alex couldn't help but to coo at the boy to which Jack rolled his eyes again.

"Fine" He muttered and got up from the bed and went over to his drawers and grabbed a pair of sweats for Alex before going back over to Alex and giving them to him.

"Thank you, Jacky" Alex smiled sweetly and took the things for Jack. He went to the bathroom to get changed before going back to Jack and standing in the doorway for a bit and waited for Jack to notice him. As soon as the younger boy did notice him, Alex noticed him biting his lip.

"I have an idea, but don't completely hate me for it. Okay?" Alex bit his lip and nodded at Jacks words, who wouldn't worry when someone says 'don't hate me for it'. He bit his lip and looked to Jack expectantly.

"Okay, so I feel really bad about you sleeping on the couch and I kind of really don't want you sleeping down there by yourself, so I was thinking that there is quite a lot of room in this bed and we could both easily fit in here" The younger boy paused to take a breath and Alex was sure he knew where Jacks question was going. "So I was wondering that if it was okay with you, would you maybe want to stay in here with me tonight. But that's only if you want to and if you're comfortable with it." Alex watched as the boy bit his lip with a shy look in his eye.

Alex was surprised when he heard what Jacks question was but he was very quick to answer "Yeah, that sounds great, but only if you don't mind." Of course Alex would jump to sleep in the same bed as Jack, and maybe if he was really lucky, they would end up cuddling. Alex bit his lip and blushed at his quick response, hoping that he didn't seem too eager.

"Yeah, of course it's okay" The younger replied with a blush and pulled the covers back for Alex. Alex smiled to Jack before getting into bed and curling up slightly. He watched as Jack went back to the draw and grabbed some sweats for himself before going to the bathroom, a few minutes later Jack returned and got into bed with Alex.

Alex bit his lip and glanced to Jack with a small smile "Night Jacky" He whispered, his heart racing when their legs brushed together.

"Night Lexy" The younger boy yawned and flicked the light off and turned on his side so that he was facing Alex, Alex bit his lip and smiled softly before rolling over and closing his eyes and slowly falling asleep.

When Alex woke up in the middle of the night as he usually did, he couldn't help but to roll over and take a look at Jack. Alex's heart melted at the sight of the boy because he looked so adorable, his lips were parted and there were soft snores passing through his lips, also his hair was all tousled and he looked so cute!

With a smile and a bit of his lip, Alex leaned over and pressed a soft kiss to Jacks cheek, very close to his lips. He blushed to himself before leaning into Jack, a wide smile stretching across his face when he felt Jacks arms wrap around him and kiss the top of his head. With a small, content hum Alex went back to sleep and cuddled closer to Jack.

For once Alex was really, really happy and he really hoped that it would last for a long time.
