The Pains Of Labor
-Fast forward to 36 weeks pregnant-
I woke up feeling pretty good which was nice, lately ive been waking up feeling like shit. I got ready for the day and ate and then i left for work. Later during lunch i kept feeling the baby kick, my friend April noticed the weird look on my face.
"You alright?" she asked taking a sip of her lemonade
"Mhm. Shes just kicking" i said and her eyes lit up
"Oh my god!, can i feel?!" she asked
"Yeah, come here" i said and she knelt in front of me and i put her hand over my belly button and after a minute the baby kicked
"Wow!. Thats amazing!. Is she active today?" she asked getting back in her chair
"Mhm, shes crazy today" i said
"Aww. It must feel amazing" she said
"Not exactly, it kinda hurts a bit. But its really nice when i think about the fact that its my baby moving" i said
"Yeah" she said
The rest of the day just kept going downhill from there, i was feeling more pain and it sucked. Eventually after a while they just sent me home early just to be on the safe side. When i got home i walked in and Zack was watching tv with Rian.
"Hey" i said
"Hey, your home early" Rian said and i sat next to him
"Yep. They sent me home, im not feeling good" i said
"Whats wrong?" he asked
"Ive just been in some pain, nothing crazy. Im fine now" i said
"Ohhh" he said nodding
"Babe, what are you doing here?" Alex asked coming in
"I live here" i said
"I know but you had work" he said
"They let me go early, ive been in a little bit of pain" i said and his eyes got wide and he pushed Rian off the couch to sit next to me
"Hey. Fucker!" Rian said
"Shhh!" Alex said waving him off
"Lex-" i started but he cut me off
"Is everything alright!?, are you feeling any pain now!?. Do i need to call the doctor?" he asked grabbing my hands
"Honestly im fine. I think its like braxton hicks or something, im okay" i said
"You sure?" he asked eyeing me
"Yes im positive" i said
"Dude lay off, im sure if somthing happens she'll let you know" Zack said
"Exactly" i said and Alex turned to face Zack and glared at him
"Do you happen to have a baby on the way Mr. Merrick?" Alex asked Zack
"No" Zack said
"Then you cant possibly understand the fear. So shut up i can be in panic mode all i want" Alex said
The rest of the night Alex was calm which made me so happy since him panic made me nervous. We all had dinner and it was so yummy, Alex really knows how to cook. After dinner was over i was cleaning up the kitchen to keep busy and all of a sudden i felt a pain shoot through my waist.
"Fuck!. Alex" i said leaning against the counter
"Yeah?" he asked
"Alex. Come here...fuck!" i said feeling the baby kick which made the pain a little more intense
"Whats going on?!" he asked coming to my side
"Hurts like a mother fucker" i said
"Your going into labor!, oh god!. Rian and Zack i need your help getting all our shit. Babe sit down and relax we'll leave ASAP" he said pulling me over to his chair and i sat down and Rian laughed and Zack just gave Alex a weird look and shook his head
"Babe!. Im fine!. Holy fuck, like i said it was a practice contraction so you need to calm the fuck down" i said
"Are you sure its practice i mean two in one night?" he asked
"Yes im absolutely sure" i said
"God i cant wait to see what he does when the actual thing happens" Zack said
"Oh god i'll probably pass out" Alex said
"You better not!. Your my ride to the hospital" i said
"I'll try my best" he said
Later that night it was decided that Rian was going to sleep over, Alex was in such a panic that he felt he needed Rian there. I went to bed pretty early since i was exhausted and nauseous, plus i needed to get away from Alex's crazy over-activeness. Later that night i woke up and looked at the clock and it was two am, i was about to go back to sleep when i noticed the bed was wet and a felt a horrible pain shoot through me and i knew it was time.
"Alex" i said shaking him
"No" he mumbled
"Get the fuck up, please!" i said shaking him while panicking and then another pain shot through me
"Stop" he said shifting
"Alex the bed is wet get up!" i said
"You peed?" he asked
"No!. Are you fucking stupid?!, my water broke!" i said and his eyes shot open and he sat up
"What?!, are you sure?!" he asked helping me sit up
"Yes im positive. Its still leaking out of me" i said and he jumped out of bed
"Oh fuck!. Fuck!. Rian!" he said freaking out and he yelled down the hall
"What?" Rian shouted back
"Melodys in labor!" Alex yelled and a minute later Rian came running into the room
"Its time!?" Rian asked excited
"Yes it is" i said as more pain hit me, this time it made me feel sick
"What do we do!?" Alex said pacing
"Well first you can hand me the garbage can so i dont vomit on the bed" i said and Rian rolled his eyes at Alex and handed me the garbage and i puked
"Heres what were gonna do. Were gonna get your stuff and put it in the car and while i do that i think Alex needs to help you change. Then on the ride to the hospital we'll call your doctor" Rian said
"Sounds good" i said
"Yep. Now if Alex would stop we could get this into action" he said
"Im fucking lightheaded" Alex said
"Oh god, your freaking yourself out!. Stop pacing and sit the fuck down and breath so you dont pass out" Rian said grabbing him by his shoulders
"But Rian i-" Alex started and Rian cut him off
"No!, shut the fuck up and listen!. Your girlfriend is in labor and we need you to not be panicking okay?, because i cant deal with two of you being a mess. Im taking control of this situation because you cant get a hold of yourself so calm the fuck down!" Rian said
"Shit, way to go Rian!" i said laughing and i clapped
"Thank you, wheres the bags?" he asked
"Closet" i said as another contraction hit me
"Alright. I'll be back" he said going to get the bag and then he left the room
"You okay babe?" Alex asked helping me out of bed and i leaned into him
"Mhm. Hurts" i said squeezing my eyes shut and i grabbed his shirt
"Its okay babe, breath" he said and i took a few deep breaths and i felt the pain subside
"Okay im good" i said and he gave me a questioning look and i nodded
"Alright lets change these pants and go have this baby" he said smiling
"Yeah. Lets go meet our little girl" i said smiling

God i wrote this in like maybe a hour or less, i was really into it!. One more chapter after this and then its over but like i said before i will do a sequel!Comment! :)
