The End
I fell onto the floor and then realised that I was the one who was shot. Not only had my brother made them believe that Sherlock had the code but he also got them to believe I was after it as well. And I new that it was the end for me, I wasn’t scared of death, quite the opposite actually I welcomed it for I new that I would be at peace. Sherlock and John where looking around to see where the gun shot went and where it came from then Sherlock turned my way and saw me on the floor not realising I was shot he got on the floor next to me and said:
“Beth what’s wrong, your hurt, you need some help, John help me get her inside out of the rain” In Sherlock’s eyes I could see he was scared and worried for me and that’s when I knew that he did care for me and I had to tell him how I felt before it could never be said.
Sherlock was looking at John waiting for him to help but John just looked at Sherlock as he new I couldn’t be helped but Sherlock didn’t want to believe him so he tried to move me but before he lifted me up I cupped his face with my hand to get him to look at me and said;
“Don’t you fret Sherlock, I don’t feel any pain, and a little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now”
“But” he replied before I cut him off
”shh, you’re here that’s all I need to know, because you will keep me safe and close, and this rain will make flowers grow”
“But you will live Beth, if we could get help”
“Its ok Sherlock there’s nothing anyone can do please just hold me now and let it be, shelter me, comfort me”
Sherlock and John where both by my side and I could see that they were both crying through the rain and I knew I didn’t have long so I looked at Sherlock and said;
“This rain will wash away what’s past, and I’ll get to sleep in your embrace at last, the skies are beginning to clear and I’m at rest, a breath away from where you are I’ve come home from so far”
“Hush bye my dear Beth, you won’t feel any pain, I’m here” Sherlock told me softly
“That’s all I need to know and you will keep me safe and close and the rain will make flowers...”
And then suddenly it all went black.
