Chapter 4 ♥
Amelia's P.O.V.:
It's officially the day where I'm going on a date with Wesley. I'm super excited but super nervous. I don't even know what to wear! I'm going crazy looking in my closet till I find the perfect outfit. Wesley told me to dress in beach type clothes. I put this on: www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=71411675 . Hopefully he likes it! I apply waterproof mascara since I'm assuming we'll be going in the ocean. I curl my hair and have a braid wrap around the back of my head. It's 5:50. 10 minutes till 6:00. 5 minutes later.
The doorbell rings. I take a deep breath. I can tell Drew answered the door because I can hear him chatting the Wes. "Curfew is 10. Have her back in well condition. Now listen Wes, you're my best friend and all but if you hurt her in any way I will-" I cut him off on his threat. "Hey Wes." I say, walking down the stairs. Wes's eyes widen. "Hey. Wow, you look amazing." He says, just as nervous as I am. "You look great sis. Now as I was saying, Wes-" I cut Drew off again. "Thanks Drew! See ya later." I grab Wes's arm and pull him out through the front door. "He's in older overprotective brother mode tonight." I tell Wesley. "I can tell." Wes says, taking a deep breath. We get inside his car.
"I really hope you like what I have planned." Wes says to me. "I'm sure I will." I reassure him. I'm actually more excited than nervous right now. Wesley flashes me a smile. He looks so good. After about 10 minutes we get to the beach and Wes parks the car. He hands me a blindfold. "Put that on." He smiles a cheesy smile. I giggle and put it on. I wonder what he has planned. I hear his door shut then mine opens. He helps me out of the car and we begin walking. I realize we're walking on sand. "Just a few more minutes." He says. After 2 minutes we stop walking. "Okay, you can take off the blindfold." Wes says to me.
I take the blindfold off and I gasp. It's beautiful. He set up a small table with cushion chairs. There's 1 big candle in the middle of the table. There's candles all around the table, but far enough to our chairs don't touch them when we scoot the chairs out. Rose pedals are also around the table.
This must have taken a while to make. I turn to Wes. "It's so beautiful! Thank you so much Wes." His nervous face turns to instant relief and a huge smile. "I'm extremely glad you like it." He takes my hand and we walk towards it. He pulls out the chair for me and pushes me in when I sit down. "Thank you." I say. "Anything for you Lia." He says back. I blush. He's quite a gentlemen. He sits down. I look down and see lasagna. Ah, I love lasagna and so does Wes. "I chose lasagna cause I know you love it." Wes says blushing. I giggle. "Yes, I do. Thank you for all this Wes. It really is amazing." He takes my hand from across the table. "Like I said, anything for you. Anytime, anywhere." He says, looking deep in my eyes.
Now I'm the one blushing.
