I Can't Believe How Bad You Got Me
I'm Going to Make Her!
“Have you heard from Ryan?” Jake huffed as he walked from room to room.
“No,” I giggled.
“Gosh!” he groaned.
“You… really think she’s pregnant,” I couldn’t help but smile.
“Yeah! Have you noticed how she’s acting? It’s almost like you were,” he teased.
“I was… really something else,” I couldn’t disagree with him.
“But I loved you through it, baby,” he taunted and came over to the couch to pull Riley and I into his arms. “And this beautiful thing came of it,” he added and took his daughter from me.
“But honestly, out of all of my brothers, I always thought Ryan would make the best dad,” I spoke up.
“Yeah… I don’t see Blake or Jade being dads…” he chuckled himself.
“Maybe they’ll surprise me one day, but…” I trailed through a giggle, shrugging.
“Ryan’s been the best with Riley, so…” Jake added.
“I think Ryan’s your favorite too,” I snickered, giving his middle a squeeze as he made a face at Riley, sending her into a fit of giggles.
“What? No,” he shook his head, but his smile was there.
“Aw, Jakey. It’s ok to like him,” I countered.
“He’s just… my brother in law. Of course I have to like him,” he chuckled.
“I think you guys are good friends now…” I kept poking.
“So what if we are?!” he bickered with me, teasingly of course.
“It’s cute,” I cooed and nuzzled into him more.
He grumbled something that I couldn’t make out. I’m sure it had something to do with my cute comment. He’s just adorable. And then you add his interactions with our daughter and he just constantly makes me melt into a puddle right at his feet.
“Come on, Kirstie! Take the test!” Jake groaned after a few silent minutes.
“What did Ryan say about all of this?” I asked since I knew he made a little visit to the Dungey household this morning.
“He thinks she’s pregnant too,” he smiled.
“Aw,” I couldn’t help but grin.
“Can we just go over there? If she hasn’t taken it yet, I’m going to make her!” he grumbled.
“What every makes you happy, dear,” I teased while he pushed himself off the couch with Riley still in his arm.
I still wasn’t too sure if Kirstie was pregnant or not. But with Jake and Ryan seeming to think so, it’s hard… not to. But if she’s not currently expecting, I’m sure it’s not going to be much longer until she is. Ryan can barely keep his hands off of her as it is! I know there’s going to be Dungey babies in the future. It’s just a matter of time.
