I was so excited, my best mate James was currently on his way from New York, to come and pick me up. I was heading to NY for the weekend, I couldn’t wait to catch up with all my old friends again.
“Alessandra, are you packed?” My mum asked walking into my room
“Yes” I smiled as I zipped up my bag
“Since when do you have a Louis Vuitton bag?” She asked whilst gawking at my new bag
“Daddy brought it for me, a few months back” I told her
“That’s a nice dress… another gift from your dad I assume…” She moved on
“Thank you and no, it was just brought with his money” I smiled, as I did a spin showing off my orange silk dress.
“You really are spoilt” She commented
“Buts dads rich, so why not spend his money on awesome things” I stated, she just shook her head before leaving. I double-checked that I had everything, before heading downstairs.
“Okay, well I’m going to go grab a coffee, James is picking me up outside Starbucks” I told my mum from the front door.
“Alright, well have a good weekend, be safe” she said, pulling me into a hug. I hugged her back briefly before heading out the door. I slowly made my way to the Starbucks on South-Broadway, once there I got a takeaway vanilla latte, and went to sit at a table outside. I was caught up in texting a few friends that I didn’t even notice who was walking straight towards me.
----- Alex’s Point Of View -----
“I want coffee” Jack stated as we sat around my bedroom doing nothing as per normal.
“Okay, lets go hit up South-Broadway” I said standing up, slipped on some thongs, grabbed my wallet and phone before Jack and I were off. As we were walking Jack was talking about something, didn’t seem to interesting, so I didn’t pay that much attention. But I did tune when we were nearing Starbucks and Jack just stopped talking. I looked over at him quizzically
“Fuck, she is hot.” Jack stated, I was a bit confused at first but I followed his line of vision. Siting outside Starbucks was none other than Ally, a smile instantly spread across my face. She looked so beautiful today, her hair was pinned to one side and perfectly flowing over right shoulder and the orange dress she had on really brought out her tanned skinned. Before I knew what I was doing I was standing in front of her
“Hey Ally” I smiled, she seemed to come out of a daze
“Alex” She smiled as she stood up, I didn’t have a chance to say anything else before she wrapped her arms around my neck, my hands instinctively wrapped around her waist. She smelt like vanilla, it was heavenly.
“Did you get taller?” I asked as we pulled away
“I’m wearing wedges doofus” she laughed
“Well you look really good” I half changed the subject
“Thanks you, same to you” She smirked as she looked me up and down.

I looked Alex up and down, he looked really good today, I love the look he has going on, cut off jean shorts with a singlet that had ‘That’s what she said’ written on it and thongs, his hair was just a mess, but it was definitely working for him.
“So…” A guy that was standing next to Alex said
“Oh ah right, Ally this is my mate Jack, Jack this is Ally” Alex introduced us
“Hey!” He piped up
“Nice to meet you” I smiled
“Well I might grab us some coffees Alex?” Jack said, Alex just nodded and Jack disappeared into Starbucks. I took a seat once again and Alex followed and sat opposite me.
“So what are you up too?” He asked
“Just waiting for a friend” I replied simply
“Wait… you have friends?” Alex said instantly
“Oh, your so funny” I told him
“You going somewhere?” Alex asked next motioning towards my bag.
“Yeah, off to New York for the weekend, my friend is driving here to pick me up” I said, he seemed to click together that the friend I was waiting on was my friend from New York.
“Here ya go!” Jack came back out.
“Thanks” Alex nodded. For a little while we continued to talk, Jack was really funny and just kept us laughing. It was about half an hour later when I saw James’s car pull up.
“Ally!” he yelled as he walked over to me, I got up and jumped into his arms. He hugged me tightly, I haven’t seen him in over a year.
“Babe, you look hot, Italy definitely treated you well!” he commented as he looked me up and down.
“I know!” I laughed.
“Anyway we should get going, long drive ahead” He motioned towards the car
“Sure thing” I handed him my bag and he went to put in the car.
“It was good see you again Alex, nice to meet you Jack” I told the two guys in front of me.
“When are you back?” Alex asked
“Monday” I simply said
“We should hang out, ill text you” Alex smiled,
“Sounds good” James made his way back over and threw his arm around my shoulder, and if I didn’t know any better, I could definitely see jealousy is Alex’s eyes.
“Hey I’m James” He stuck his hand out to shake the guys.
“Alex”
“Jack”
“You Ally’s friends?” He asked
“Yeah, haven’t known her that long, but she pretty awesome” Alex said
“She definitely is” James smiled as he kissed the top of my head, I loved that we were so close, he was my best friend.
“Well we should get going” I said
“Right, well I see you soon Ally” Alex smiled and Jack waved, I could see Alex wanted to hug me but James grabbed my hand and started pulling me over to the car. He opened the door for me and I got in.
“Fuck he is hot” James said as we pulled away from the curb
“I love it that your gay” I smiled, what Alex doesn’t know wont hurt him.
