Promise me you won't freak out

After I took my shower and asked Isaac about the blind man we really didn't do anything accept watch TV. Isaac said we shouldn't go out and do anything in case someone followed us. I sat on the bed and I kept thinking about two things, one being what the blind man was, and about Isaac being half naked and five feet away from me on the next bed. I wasn't typically a boy crazy person. I mean did have crushes on boys, but I didn't have time like right now when I couldn't stop thinking about him shirtless.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Isaac get off his bed. Isaac stared at me a moment before he said, "I'm gonna step outside and call Derek. I need to let him know I got you here safe," he said stretching a little bit. I couldn't help but stare as his short slid down the slightest bit as stretched reveling more of his hip bones.

"Alright," I said snapping out of my own thoughts.

I wanted to slap myself for staring at him. I hoped he didn't catch me.

I stared the TV watching some pointless show. After about five minutes Isaac walked back in and sat his phone down on the nightstand in between our two beds. "Derek says everything is fine back in Beacon Hills." I had a feeling he was lying, but I wasn't going to push anything.

"You know I know really nothing about you?" I said hoping I could find more about the mystery guy who pretty much ran away with me to save me.

"I don't really know much about you either," he said sitting back down on his bed.

"Is there anything you want to know about me?" I asked crossing my legs and facing him.

"Sure," he said before pausing for a moment. I assumed he was trying to figure out what to ask me. "Who do you hang out with at school?"

I knew he was going to think I was a total loner when I told him I pretty much didn't have any friends. I wondered if I should lie and tell him I had friends. "I hang out in my English class, I guess you could say I don't have any friends," I said staring in his eyes trying to figure out what he was thinking.

"I did have many friends till I met Scott," Isaac said speaking up. "What's your last name?"
"Callin, what's yours?" I asked.

"Lahey," he said lying back on the bed getting comfortable.

I wanted to bring myself to ask him if he has a girlfriend, but I couldn't bring myself to ask him. I also wanted to ask him if he had ever slept with anyone, but I knew if I asked him that because it was too personal and honestly none of my business. I also knew that he would find out I'm a virgin, and that would just embarrass me.

“We should probably get some sleep,” he said standing up.

“Alright,” I said standing up so I could get under the blankets.

I watched Isaac walk into the bathroom; while he did that I pulled back the blankets and crawled underneath them. I lay in my bed staring at the ceiling, I really hoped I wouldn't have nightmares about the blind man. I turned on my side to face Isaac’s bed. I knew that at least having in the same room, I knew he wouldn't let anything happen to me. I must have been more tired than I thought I was because I had a hard time holding my eyes open. I opened my eyes one last time to see Isaac crawling into his bed. I blinked my eyes one time before I was gone.

I looked around and saw nothing but trees around me, I looked up at the night sky to see bright stars lighting the dark forest. I looked on the ground to see a trail of blood behind me, I felt my chest tighten up as panic sat in. I looked down at my hands to see they had blood on them. I held them in front of me and couldn't help but shake as I examined them. I started fighting to breath as I panicked trying to figure outs who’s blood it was. I wasn't sure if it was my blood or if it was somebody else’s. I looked over my hands and found and saw bright blood red eyes staring at me.

“You can’t run,” he said with a grin on his face.

I felt like my body was going to start convulsing, and my chest started tightening up. I knew I couldn't think straight so I just took off running. I knew I probably had only a few minutes before he got to me. I just kept sprinting through the forest until I was no longer surrounded by trees. I stopped and looked around to see I was now in the desert. I turned around to see the same red eyes ten feet away from me.

“Nobody is going to save you,” he said quickly closing the distance between us.

“Isaac,” I screamed hoping that somehow he could come to my rescue.

“I am going to kill you,” he said wrapping his hands around my neck.

“Isaac,” yelled screaming bloody murder.

“He can’t help you,” he yelled at me.

I was snapped out of my horrible nightmare by somebody shaking me. “Lennon you need to wake up,” I said still shaking me.

I sat up quickly catching my breath. “Oh my god,” I said breaking down crying. I couldn't take having these nightmares much longer. Every time I went to sleep I was on the brink of death.

I looked to see that Isaac was sitting on my bed next me. “Lennon you’re fine,” he said wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into his chest.

“I can’t keep having these nightmares,” I said still sobbing.

“They’ll go away soon,” he said holding me tightly and letting me know I was safe.

“You don’t know that,” I said with my head resting on Isaac’s chest.

“Lennon I’m not going to let Deucalion get you,” he said pulling me away from him slightly and looking me in the eyes.

“Isaac he said he’s going to teach Derek a lesson by killing me,” I said pushing the tears away from under my green eyes.

“It’s not gonna happen,” he said it like he knew it wasn't gonna happen.

“Isaac what is Deucalion?” I needed him to tell me this. I couldn't sleep at night not knowing what he is.

Isaac got off the bed and stood in front of me for a moment before he started pacing in front of me. I knew he was trying to figure out what to say me. I wasn't sure if he was going to tell me the truth or if he was going to lie to me. “You won’t believe me,” he said still pacing.

“Try me.”

Isaac

“I didn't believe it either originally,” I said running his fingers through his curls. I knew no matter what I was going to have to tell her some form of the truth.

“I need to know what’s going on,” she said as another tear slid down her cheek. “I mean don’t you think I have a right to know what’s going on?” She was right she did have a right to know what was going on, but I wasn't sure if Derek wanted me to tell her. I wondered if her knowing the truth would put her in even more danger.

“I know you do, I just know if you knowing will put you in anymore danger,” I said hoping to convince her that she didn't need to know the truth.

“I don’t think I can get in much more danger then I am right now,” she the tears off her pale tear stained cheeks.

I started pacing again, I racked my mind trying to figure out if Derek would care if I told her the truth or not. I looked over at her to see she was desperate to find out something. “If I tell you have to promise me you won’t freak out,” I said finally speaking up.

“I won’t freak out.” I knew that she said it not knowing the full existent of what I was about to tell her.
“He isn't fully human,” I said sitting on my bed across from her. “I don’t really know how to explain this any differently,” I said taking a breath.

“Just say what he is,” she said calmly.

“Okay, but you can’t freak out,” I looked at her and she gave me a nod letting me know she wouldn't freak out. “Deucalion is a werewolf,” I spoke quickly and looked at Lennon trying to judge what she was thinking.

She was silent for a moment before she finally said anything, “Werewolves aren't real. I mean the only place they exist is in movies, books, and myths.” I could tell that she was confused by the whole thing.

“That’s what I used to think,” I said staring into her green eyes.

“So I was kidnapped by a werewolf?” she said standing up. I wasn't sure if she only confused or if she was scared at the same time.

“Yeah, but you promised me you wouldn't freak out,” I said trying make sure she didn't freak out.

“I’m not freaking out,” she said with her voice a little higher than normal. “Is the blind man Deucalion the only werewolf?” I knew right then I was going to have to tell her I was one. I knew that if she wasn't freaking out over Deucalion being one, she was for sure going to freak out over the fact that she was sharing a room with a werewolf.

“Are you sure you want to know the answer to that question?” I asked really hoping that she would say no.

I looked at her as she started to pace back and forth, “Yeah, I mean I mean,” she started to trip over her words. I knew that she was really starting to freak out. “I need to know,” she said after taking a deep breath.

“Well Deucalion there’s Deucalion and his pack, then there’s Derek and his pack,” I hoped that would be enough information, and that I wouldn't have to tell her me and Scott are werewolves.

“Are you and Scott in Derek’s pack?” she asked as she stopped pacing.

I knew right then and there that I couldn't lie to her. “Yeah,” I said looking into her green eyes trying to figure out what she was thinking. I prayed that she wouldn't be scared of me.

“Wow,” was all she said as she sat back down on her bed. “What time is it?” she asked changing the subject completely.

I knew changing the subject was probably for the better. “It’s six in the morning.”

“Are we staying her another day or are we driving somewhere else?” she asked avoiding eye contact with me.

“We can go somewhere else if you would like.”

“Let’s go to big city,” she said standing up and walking over to her bag. “Is it too late to go to Vegas?” she asked.

“If you want to go to Vegas I’ll take you to Vegas,” I said standing up.

I had a feeling for a little while she was going to try to act like I hadn't just told he werewolves were real and I was one.

So I finished writing this after watching yesterday episode this afternoon. I am really surprised by how many people are reading this and commenting and letting me know they like it. I'm gonna be editing the first 3 because when I wrote them I didn't have Microsoft word, and now I have it.

I want to thank blackenedrose, Miranda meanie Pants, Nerdasaurous, thnksfrthmmrs23, and balinski for commenting.

What do you guys think about Lennon nightmares and how Isaac is trying to comfort her. Also what do you think of Isaac telling her about there being werewolves, and do you think Lennon took it okay?
