Run 「走る」

I see
The Runner Boy
running down the hall,
and I see
a crowd
following him.

It makes me think of
me following him,
and the thought
reddens my cheeks.

I gather my things
and head for the bus
because as far as I'm
concerned,
school is out
for
today.
