Chapter fifty eight

Part fifty eight:

"Darling.. Calm down.. " Ville snickered softly as he watched me stress out in a backroom of the church. I looked at him with wide eyes. "How can I calm down!? You just told me the place leaks! Right on the isle! April had to fix a hole in my dress and Jade just kicked a drunk out! " Ville made me stop walking by putting his hands on my shoulders. "Helena, listen to me.. The place is old, that’s why you chose it to begin with.. it’s just a few drops, no one will notice. Second, April is a genious with that sowing machine, believe me.. I know.. and third, that drunk was don vito.. he is chronically drunk! Try to relax darling.. you’re not supposed to feel like this. It’s not you anyway, this is just about you and Bam.. despite anything that may happen, he’ll still wait for you at the end of that isle.. that’s what it’s all about in the end! " His eyes never left mine during his little speech. I sighed deeply and nodded. I’m just afraid I’ll fuck it up or something.. what if I slip? " He chuckled. "Darling.. you’re walking over carpet.. even you will find it hard to slip over a little water.. " I sighed again and nodded. "You’re right.. " I looked up at him. "Will you go see how Bam’s doing? " I asked a little desperately. He looked at me in disbelief. "Hel-" The door opened and April came in. "There you go honey, all done.. no one will notice. Quick, get dressed. " I threw a glance at Ville. He nodded. "Fine, fine.. I’ll go.. " I nodded, thankful. "Good.. cause I bet even though you’re my man of honor, he’d like to see his best friend too.. " I said with a grin. Ville just rolled his eyes, stuck out his tongue and left for Bam’s side of the church.

~Bam’s POV~
"So.. what do we do now..? " Me and the guys were all kind of sitting around, waiting for it to be time, when the door opened. Ville entered and immediately let out a sigh of relief. "Oh I’m staying here! " I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Hell’s kind of stressed.. " I chuckled. "Seriously? What’s the matter?" He rolled his eyes. "Just about everything. She thinks it all has to be perfect.. but to be honest, I don’t think it would really be your wedding if all went according to plan.. " He said looking at me with a slight smirk. I laughed. "Yeah, I thought exactly the same thing when I proposed.. it’s just supposed to go exactly like you didn’t plan it! " We all just joked around for a sec before I got up and went over to Ville. "Hey man.. would you tell her, when you go back, that I love her.. and everything will be ok? " I said rubbing my neck in emberassment. He smiled. "I will, don’t worry. " He was about to turn and leave when I grabbed his shoulder. "Dude.. how does she look? " I couldn’t helpt it.. I was curious as hell. He smirked. "You’ll love it.. trust me.. " I groaned. What’s a best friend for if he won’t even tell you how your own fiancée looks! " I stomped back to my seat, finally starting to feel the nerves get to me..

~Your POV~
"Don’t worry sweetheart, you look absolutely beautiful.. " April said putting her hands on my shoulders. I was staring at myself in the mirror, she stood behind me. "I’m actually kind of glad you chose this dress.. it fits you really well.. " She said chuckling a bit. She was right though. I hated dresses, but for the first time in my life I actually thought I looked good in one. The lady at the store had it altered, so it was now a floorlength gown. It was off white silk, which fell close to my body. My black pumps peeked out from under it slightly. Around my waist and at my cleavage, there were black lace accents. The dress had a deep cleavage, but it wasn’t slutty. April insisted on a veil, so I agreed.. only if she let it be my sort of veil. To compliment the black lace on my dress, I had a black tule veil pinned to my hair with a red rose. It came just below my face and really finished it off. I’m not afraid to admit, I actually looked good.

"It’s time to start moving Ape.. " Phil said through the door. She nodded. "I’m coming! " She turned to me. "Are you going to be alright? " She asked, looking at me intently. I laughed. "April, I’m marrying your son, I’m not being doomed to spent eternity in Hell you know.. " She rolled her eyes. "Don’t be so sure about that one.. " I opened my mouth in shock, she quickly winked before hurrying out the door. "You’ll do fine honey. He loves you more than anything.. " I smiled as she closed the door. I sat down with a sigh, waiting for my que.

~Third person POV~
People in the church stood up to see the weddingparty enter. It started off with a laugh, as the best man and maid of honor walked in. People chuckled at the two. Jesse, Bam’s brother, had his arm linked with Ville, who looked at the ground as if he was a shy and timid little girl. Bam couldn’t help but roll his eyes at the sight. Even this, the most serious day he’d probably have in his whole life, had to have a joke somewhere. Ville, when reached the altar, took his spot at the side Hell would soon be standing at. Jesse stayed put, holding his hand out again. Heads turned to look at the entrance where a little girl came shuffling in, carefully spreading out black rosepetals over the ground. Little Ava looked up to see her dad, a smile spread over her face and she started running, tripping a few times along the way. This caused an odd pattern to appear on the carpet, little groups of petals, thrown down about every two meters. You couldn’t help but smile if you saw it. Jesse picked his daughter up and walked over to his brother, who quickly kissed the little girl on her nose and made a funny face. She giggled.
Then it was time for the bride to appear. People were curious as to what she would look like. Most of the guest either knew Hell or had heard of her personality. They all knew she was no girly girl. Soft gasps and whispers were exchanged as she finally made her appearance. Even the groom, normally a loudmouth and active person stood frozen. He looked right into the eyes of the woman he loved and smiled, smiled like he never had before.

~Bam’s POV~
She looked amazing. Her hair fell down in curls parted sideways by the rose. The dress was made for her, I’m sure of it. I smiled as she approached me. I would’ve given anything for her dad to be here, to walk her down the isle. Phil had offered, seeing as they got along so well. She’d declined. Her reason still stood freshly carved into my memory. " I want to show that I’m alright.. taking care of myself. I want to show that I won’t replace my father, not in my heart. I want to show that it’s my choice to be with you.. " I blinked a few times to see her near the altar now. Even through the black veil before her face, I could see her blush. I held out my hand and felt her grab it. I winked before turning to the priest. She gave my hand a light squeeze, then he started speaking.

~Your POV~
God.. I swallowed a lump in my throat as I slowly stepped up the few steps. Bam smiled and held out his hand. Yeah, that made it better. His hand grasped mine and he winked. I knew I’d be okay. It was just us! This was only about the two of us.. the rest did not matter. I glanced over to Bam and saw him smiling as the priest continued the ceremony. I smiled as well, finally letting the words that the guys was speaking, sink in.

This was us, just us.

"The couple requested I read the vows, I’ll start with the ones Helena wrote. " The priest said smiling to us. Again, a quick glance at Bam was enough to make me blush.

"Bam.. "
