I was towel drying my hair and body and put on my underwear and bra, I looked in the mirror, my hand went to my non-existent yet baby bump. ‘I may as well make the use of my pretty clothes because soon I won’t fit in them.’ I smile again and go to my wardrobe. ‘Hmm, I’ll go dressy top and Jeans’ I picked out my black frill and lace top and my nice pair of jeans and found the perfect shoes to go with them. I blow dried my hair and straighten it. I left my hair to cool off while I did natural make up and plugged my curlers in. I looked in the mirror and I looked okay. I took my phone off charge and looked at the clock had to be there for 6pm and it was 5pm. I decided to get there early; I grabbed by bag and key and started walking toward the door. ‘Let’s get the show on the road.’ I locked my door and started walking toward my car.
I turned the radio on and start singing to the music it was Katy Perry – Last Friday Night, I got to the bar/grill at 5.30pm. I locked my car and started walking toward the double doors. I took a deep breath and walked straight in.
The owner whose name was Bill showed me to the lockers and told me to set myself up. I walked on stage set the mic up and placed my laptop on the side and linked it up to the speakers. I had a playlist and I could easily get songs that people wanted to hear. I had a brand new song I wanted to try out but didn’t want to play it so early.
I decided my first song should be Roar. ‘Hi, im Lucy and I’ll be your entertainment tonight. I have songs prepared but if you want me to sing a song come make a request and I’ll be able to do it.” I smiled looking around the room. ‘This first song you should all know.’ I hit play and waited for the intro to finish to start singing.

I smile ‘oh uhrmm.. no it’d my fault for standing too close’ he said shyly smiling. ‘Maybe next time give me a sign like a cough or something’; I say jokingly with a smile. ‘Yea, I’ll do that, by the way you were great up there’ he said pointing to the stage with his other hand itching the back of his head. ‘Oh thank you, but not that good, anyways I gotta go and do more songs!’ I pat his arm and while walking take a swig of my ice cold water.
As I get back up on stage I see Edward taking his seat again but some of the Cullen have scowls on there facing looking at, I skim the room and see there looking at Jacob and his friends and they have the same looks, Alice notices me look with a confused expression, I shake my head and go back to my laptop getting ready to do my new song.

I took a quick look at the clock in was 10.30pm, I started packing all my laptop away when Bill came up to me. I jumped! ‘Oh sorry Bill, you scared me!’ I chuckle with my hand on my heart and belly, thinking of my belly I felt a bit sick. ‘I just wanted to say how well you did and I love your original song, I saw lots of people get up and come and dance!’ he said and rubbed my arm. ‘Oh thanks, I’m sorry I just need to use the bathroom!’ I said speed walking trying not to get stopped just as I was there I saw Jacob and his friends and Edward and his family coming towards me instead I ran to the bathroom, I couldn't hold it any longer and bent over the toilet. After I was done I flushed and sat on the toilet floor getting myself back to normal. I wiped my mouth with tissue and went to the mirror. I ruffled my hair and straightened myself, I needed a mint out of my bag and to just go home. I checked one more time and started walking out the door with my head down going straight to get my bag for a mint. I took 2 chewing gums and went to go and collect my laptop on the stage. I felt warn-out and couldn't wait to get to bed.
I started to feel light-headed but held myself up on the table took a few deep breaths and closing my eyes. I felt a hand on my back and a calm quiet voice ‘Lucy, are you okay?’ I recognised the voice as Carlisle. ‘Yea, just feel a bit sick and a bit dizzy’ I say with my eyes still closed. I started to open them but it seemed worse. ‘I just need some air I’ll be fine.’ Edward was on his way up I heard Carlisle say ‘You take Lucy’s bag outside I need to get her some air and check her over.’ I didn't hear a reply I was focused on trying to see straight. ‘Wait..’ I said and Carlisle looked at me. ‘Heels’ was my only reply as I bent down to take them off. I started feeling sick again and the dizziness seemed to be coming and going. I put my hand on my belly and whispered so only I could here or so I thought ‘Come on baby, don’t do this to me!’ I gently rub my belly trying to sort this sick feeling. Carlisle got me outside and I slowly walked over to my car and opened the driver side and sat down with my elbows on my knees and my hands covering my face. Carlisle bent down in front of me. I looked up ‘how you feeling?’ He said putting his hand on my forehead. ‘I feel okay, just a bit sick, I need to sleep’ I said a bit defeated. I noticed Jake was on his way over along with so many others and the Cullen’s. I heard shouting and aggression. I looked at Carlisle wide eyed and everyone else and the sick feeling came again. I had to get out of here.
I got up from the seat and ran toward the forest and it all the sickness came again. I knew it was stupid to run but I couldn’t handle all the shouting. The sickness subsided and I felt horrible and sweaty. I just lay down with my hand on my head and a hand on my belly. Next thing I know there’s a pain on my head and my vision goes blurry. I was gone.
