A Part of the Team
Intimidation
I woke up in a police station I looked to my right and left to see the guys and said
"What happened?" Cooke said
"I doubt if that boy or his friends will mess with you again."
We laughed and a cop came over and said
"Okay kids your free to go don't worry no media is involved so your good to go."
We left and where driven back to the restaurant to get the car while in the car Adams said
"Evgeni is waiting so we figured we better take you home first."
"Home?"
Fluery said
"We're here! See you tomorrow bright and early sunshine."
I laughed
"bye guys."
I looked at the door to see Malkin with his hands on his hips. I walked up with my head down. As soon as I approached the porch he said "Where were you? Oh wait you at bars fighting men. We going to have long conversation about this little miss."
I smiled at him and he smiled back and said
"You are impossible. Go pack, new clothes are in the drawers."
I ran to my room and looked at the closet filled with clothes and such I hurried to pack and then went to sleep. The next morning I woke up to any alarm clock. I grabbed my suitcase and walked down the stairs to meet Malkin. He said that we would take his car and then he would have someone who stays back to take it back. We get to the airport and finally get on the plane and I am supposed to sit in the back with the team so we can talk about medical procedures. But they all fell asleep so I sat there. Before Kunitz came back and asked me
"Hey you look bored do you want to come up with us?"
I shook my head and went up and sat next to Orpik. They ended up playing some card game. Its so funny to watch them get so upset at a card game. We are flying to Chicago to go against the Blackhawks again.
"Since I completely made a fool of myself last time I have decided to play it low."
Cooke said
"Oh yeah I am not a princess bitch I am the fucking queen."
I whined
"shut up."
I hid in Orpik's jacket. We get to the United center and there where so many Blackhawk fans I finally realized I was not home at all people were not nice they threw things at us. There was a couple Pens fans. So they start playing and I did not talk to anyone. Then it happened Cooke got in a fight with someone on the other team since he looked okay they sent him to the box. I knelt down next to Kennedy and said
"Is he okay?"
He shook his head to signal yes.
"What if he's hurt?"
Kennedy took out his mouthpiece and said "Please stop worrying I am sure he's fine."
"But- But- but look at him."
"He clearly won the fight okay hun. He's fine Matt is a big boy, he can handle himself. Plus what are you going to do? Fight the person he fought your what shorter than 5 foot."
"Hey I am 5 foot and 1 inch. I mean come on wouldn't you be intimidated."
He laughed and put his mouthpiece in. I pushed him and he barley moved and I whispered
"asshole."
