A Part of the Team

The period ended and we all went into the back. The guys went to the guest locker room. I knocked of the door and opened it a little and said
"Is it safe?"
Someone said
"Yep come in."
I threw the door opened and marched over to Cooke and said
"What happened? Are you okay? Do you want Queen Hayley to take care of him?"
He chuckled and said
"We where just spicing up the game a little. Its still the preseason."
"Ah I get, you give me a heart attack to spice up the game, eh?"
Kennedy said
"she almost jumped on to the ice to deafened your honor or something."
We all laughed. Gill said
"You are going to need a hockey run down when we get back."
I put my head down and walked a away. I waited on the ice and everyone else came shortly after. I my own container of Gatorade and since I had no idea which one it was I had asked to ask if I could go to the back I finally did, and then got lost. I began walking around trying to find someone or some kind of map. I was walking around for at least 30 min trying to find Gatorade. I walk and I hear this kind of siren and I hear all of this running and that's when I saw Toews down a hallway I quickly said to myself
"damn, okay act like a lost fan."
I breathed deep and continued walking.
"Who are you? where are you going?"
Continue walking, faster.
"Red head."
Shit,
"Yes"
I turned around. He said
"Oh are you that medical person on the Pens team."
"How'd you know?"
He smiled
"Your the only red head and the only girl so yeah."
"Curse this hair and feminism."
He said
"Why are you over here?"
"Um, well... You see I was looking for my Gatorade and could not find it so I was going to get another thing but I think I over walked a little so yeah."
He chuckled a bit and said
"let me take some of this gear off and I will show you where your team is, okay?"
I nodded and said
"Thanks."
I waited and waited I figured it was just a scheme so I continued walking the way I was going to walk before and I finally saw Coach Dan and yelled
"Coach"
and I ran up to him and hugged him. He said
"Where have you been?" "I was lost I am so sorry."
"Its fine lets go back to the hotel everyone is waiting there."
I nodded and we got a cab to this nice hotel. I walked up to the floor and was greeted by a hug and
"Yay your alive."
I looked up to see Talbo. I smiled and said
"Yeah if I still had my dignity it'd be great."
"What do you mean?"
"Uh its nothing where is my stuff?"
"Oh yeah we never showed you your room, come."
He led me to a room with one bed and all of my stuff. I said
"Thanks."
"We are going to order food soon your welcome to some if you'd like."
