Rachael's POV
"Let's play basketball" Henry suggested when we put the stuff from hockey back.
"But I suck at basketball"
"I'll help you. You're helping me with hockey so it's only fair" he said while grabbing a basketball.
"I'm good at foul shots at least." I laughed.
"Okay we'll do those then" he smiled.
"You know, you're one awesome kid" I said while taking a shot.
"I try" he laughed
"Don't you and Luke have an older brother?" I asked
"Yeah his name's John. He lives in downtown Cincinnati."
"Oh"
"So what was it like growing up with the famous Sidney Crosby" he laughed.
"Eh, he got on my nerves a lot but he was still my brother"
"So are you older than him?"
"Yeah, him and I are actually twins"
"Really?" He asked confused
"Yeah fraternal twins"
"How old is your sister?"
"Seventeen. I remember when my mom brought her home. Sidney wanted a little brother"
"But you and......"
"Taylor" I filled in
"Were almost like brothers to Sid because you played hockey?"
"I guess so. The problem was I didn't get a boyfriend until Sid left for Shattuck's" I laughed
"Seriously?" Henry laughed
"Yeah. Let's just say that he's very protective of Taylor and I"
"What would he beat guys with a hockey stick if they were within ten feet of you guys?" He laughed and I burst out into laughter.
"I'm surprised he didn't do that"
"I can see it now headlined, 'Sidney Crosby goes to jail for beating Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly with a hockey stick'" he laughed.
"Sidney actually met Luke the other day."
"An he didn't beat him with a hockey stick?"
"No"
"Well if he ever does video tape it and put it on YouTube" he laughed
"You're so mean"
"Hey he's my brother it's my job to be mean to him" he laughed
"I remember that Sid and I just used to tackle each other in the living room and my mom would always yell at us. Whenever we were in a class together I always got in trouble for shooting spitballs at him or something" I chuckled
"Someone was a bad example as a kid"
"Well whenever he annoyed me I annoyed him back so it all worked out."
"You wanna go inside? It's getting dark" he said.
"Yeah" he said and we walked back in the house.
"Hey Luke don't be surprised if the next time you see Sidney he beats you with a hockey stick" Henry said and we bursted out laughing while Luke just sat there confused.
"Why would he beat me with a hockey stick?" Luke asked confused.
"It's a long story". I said and smiled at Henry.
"Well I'm going to get some food and watch the Clippers game" he said and walked to the kitchen and then up to his room.
"Did he annoy you?" Luke sighed
"No I actually had fun teaching him. I told him about my crazy family and how I always shot spitballs at Sidney" I chuckled
"So you guys get along?"
"Yeah. Henry's awesome." I smiled.
Sid's POV
"What happened with Rachael?" I asked Geno.
"I talk to her about relationship and she not want get together again" he sighed
"Well you can't just give up"
"What am I going do Sid? She love Luke not me"
"Make her realize that she loves you more. Well I mean if she does."
"That no help" he said about the last part.
"Hey at least I am helping." I reasoned
"You right" he had broken up with Natalia and she slapped him in front of all the guys.
"Maybe she's confused about her feelings"
"What you mean?"
"Maybe she loves you but she keeps telling herself that she doesn't to get over you?"
"Hmmmm," he said "but what if she over me?"
"Well you can always text her and ask her"
"She no text me now" he said while looking down.
"Do you want me to text her?" I sighed.
"I love you forever if you do." he said with a smile.
"Remember you're trying to get back with my sister not me" I joked.
"Sparkly eyes seal deal" he joked and for the first time in awhile I heard him laugh.
Rachael's POV
"You should come up to Coal Harbour with me sometime" I said
"Yeah I'd like that." Luke said
"Yeah I think you would. It's really outdoorsy"
"Sounds good to me"
"I was the only kid who really ever went hunting. Sid was busy with hockey and Taylor didn't necessarily like hunting so my dad and I used to go all the time."
"Have you ever thought about being in the NHL with Sidney?"
"It's always been my dream but the problem is what team would even take a woman?"
"If they saw how good of a player you are then it shouldn't matter"
"Yeah but people are assholes"
"True"

Four days later Luke and I were back in Charlotte and we were unpacking our stuff from the trip and then I heard my phone ring.
"Hello?" I said
"Is this Rachael Crosby?"
"Yeah" I answered
"I'm Jim Rutherford the general manager from the Hurricanes. We were wondering if you were interested in signing with us. We watched some of your games from Boston College and I must say Miss Crosby I'm impressed with your defensive work."
"Can I call you back tomorrow? I'll have an answer by then."
"Absolutely. You would be a great asset to the starting line" he said and hung up. I walked downstairs to see Luke watching the Saints and Falcons game.
"Luke?" I said and sat down on the couch beside him.
"Yeah?"
"The Hurricanes just called me and offered me a contract with them."
