Survive the Storm

" Nikki! Cory! " We all screamed.
It 3 of us to lift the railing off of them.
As soon as we got it off of them we immediately went for pulses.
" Oh oh my god " Chloe started sobbing.
" There's... There's no oh no pulse... Nikki's gone " Chloe cried
against Jane's shoulder.
" Cory doesn't have a pulse either! " Ryan was about to start crying
himself, his best friends was dead, and one of our friends gone too.
Blood was starting to pool around our feet, both of them must have
died immediately.
I knelt down in the bloodied water, and just cried.
" It's ok everything will work itself out we can't just give up " Kia knelt by me, but I knew she was really upset too.
I looked over at Jane and Chloe hugging by sleeping Megan on the bench.
Then at Emma, Hailey, and Kendra standing in shock by Ms. Payton and Mrs. Hans.
Mrs. B, after a couple minutes decided to move the girls away from the delivery group.
" Girls lets step away from that, I don't want to scar u so young " She glided them toward us.

I rested my head against the carpeted bench.
My hands were so purple and my feet were numb.
I was so pail, and weak.
Day 3, 8:00 am.
Lightning would flash lighting the hallway as much as it could.
Thunder shook the school every few minutes.
The sky was purple and green, with rain, flying debris, and hail,
clinking on the school roof.
We hadn't heard or seen anything from the mysterious intruder for a
few hours, after Nikki's unknown cause of falling, and hitting Cory,
killing both of them instantly.
Suddenly Cory moved.
" Oh my god Cory! " Jane ran to Cory, noticing him too.
" Mrs. B! Mrs. B! " Chloe shouted.
" Are one of them ok? " Mrs. B asked as she raced over.
" Cory! Cory he's ok! " Jane cried happily.
" What happened? " Cory mumbled stretching.
" You got hit with the railing when Nikki fell " Chloe told him.
" Is Nikki ok? " He asked.
" No she died " I wiped some tears away.
" You must have a concussion " Mrs. B brushed her hand across her head.
" No Mrs. B I'm fine " He brushed her hand away.
" Ok but just make sure u stay calm and don't move to much " She slowly got up.
Jane helped Cory up.
Cory stood up slowly, grabbing his head he groaned.
" Oh u do have a concussion " Jane put her hand on his head.
Cory took her other hand and put it on the other side of his head.
They gazed into each others eyes.
" Oo la la " Kendra whispered.
We all looked over at Cory and Jane.
He leaned in and she leaned in to, and they kissed.
All of us girls squealed and ran to Jane as they broke of the kiss.
" Omg! First kiss!! " Chloe grabbed Janes hands and they jumped up and down.
" Geez Cory really went for it didn't u " Ryan walked to Cory.
" What can I say, she's my girl " Cory laughed " You got any girl u got ur eye on? Beside your " Girlfriend " ? " Hailey asked walking up behind them.
" Don't answer that " Emma said using Jane's quote.

After the whole traumatizing thing, we went back to finding a way out,
and helping Ms. Payton though her now becoming 3 hour labor, but she
hasn't went into the birthing stage yet.
We hoped she'd last till we could get her somewhere.
" Ohhhhh " Ms. Payton moaned.
All of us moving farther with Mrs. B in the hallway, so we wouldn't
have to see the delivery if it happened.
" Oh my god " I heard Mrs. Hans freak.
" I'm gonna die " Ms, Payton cried.
" No you are not gonna die " Mrs. Hans cried too. " Just like you told the kids, no matter we are not gonna die "
Ms. Payton moaned, and cried.
I knew she was in pain and it was hard to relax and think when I kept
thinking about her.
" Oh my god!!! Mrs. B I need u now! " Mrs. Hans called to us.
" Why? What's going on? " Mrs. B called back to her.
" This baby or babies is coming now! " She shrieked.
My heart pounded in my chest.
" I'm coming! " Mrs. B shouted back " Girls I will be back stay here "
We watched her nervously walk away.
After she walked away, all of us girls sat in a circle talking.
" What's happened to us? " Kris asked.
" We're probably dead already " Kendra whined.
" No! " Kia yelled. " We are not dead and we are gonna get through this "
" Wow fiesty are we? " Emma joked.
" What's she's saying is we don't have to be so negative " Hailey reminded us.
" I hope Ms. Payton's alright " I changed the subject quickly.
" Me too, I can't believe that baby or babies that she's pregnant
with, that we've only known her looking pregnant are gonna come now "
Chloe shook.
Jane wiped Chloe's tears with a wet Kleenex from her pocket.
Suddenly we heard Mrs. B scream.
All of us jumped.
" Oh my god!! " She screamed again.
We all laughed.
I thought for a second maybe it was she couldn't handle delivering a baby.
Even if she was gonna have a baby herself in about a month.
Then we heard something we weren't expecting, a baby's cry.
2 of us jumped up and ran down the hall.
Mrs. Hans was holding a tiny baby on her palms.
She took some of the clean water from the floor and cleaned the baby quickly.
Mrs. Hans grabbed a random jacket from the bench above the water and
wrapped it around the baby.
When we were looking away, Mrs. Hans must've cut the cord but then realized she shouldn't tout the scissors away because another one was probably on the way.
She also cleaned Ms. Payton off and prepared for another to come.
Quickly, Mrs. Hans handed it to Ms. Payton who looked down on her child.
Ms. Payton began feeding the baby, who stopped crying.
All of us stood their traumatized.
" Girls girls it's ok " Mrs. B hugged Me and Kia.
" Can u girls stay? " Mrs. B asked Kia and I.
" Yeah " We sat on the bench.
I grabbed Kia's hand again.
We stared at Ms. Payton, who was feeding the baby, maybe she won't
have twins I thought.
But my thought was quickly denied.
" Oh my god! " Ms. Payton cried again.
" Baby number 2 " Mrs. Hans got ready again to deliver the other baby.
She looked so nervous and traumatized like us.
Mrs. B took the baby from Ms. Payton, so she could give birth to the twin.
She smiled down on the baby as if she just wanted her baby to be born, she also looked down on her stomach, at her baby.
Wrapping the baby in the soft part of the jacket.
I walked over to Mrs. B.
" How are you doing? " I asked her.
" I guess I just wanna meet my baby " She sniffed.
" What is this baby? "I asked leaning toward her more.
" A beautiful little girl " Mrs. B smiled.
I looked over at the little sleeping baby girl.
Ms. Payton had a daughter.
" Mrs. B come here! Mrs. Hans shouted " I think she's gonna lose this
one " she sobbed.
" No! No! " Ms. Payton cried " I can't lose it! I don't even know what
the first one was "
Mrs. B quickly laid the baby in my arms, and walked as fast as she
could over to them.
I sat down by Kia, we both looked at the sleeping baby girl.
She looked just like Ms, Payton.
" Hi baby " We said as we looked over at Ms. Payton.
She looked like she was in so much pain.
But then we realized she wasn't moving.
" Ms. Payton! No no stay with me " Mrs. Hans freaked and Mrs. B cried
and held her stomach.
No. I thought not again we are not gonna lose her.
" Ms. Payton! " Mrs. B cried.
Then we heard another baby cry.
The second baby was born.
But we weren't sure if Ms. Payton was gonna make it.
Again I began to cry.
God please stay with me and everyone, I prayed.
