Sophia McCall was beautiful, intelligent, witty and funny. Before her parents' divorce, she was one of the most popular girls in school, besides her best friend Lydia Martin. But after the divorce, Sophia is forced to move in with her father, preventing her from seeing her mother, brother and all her friends. Leaving her whole life behind in Beacon Hills, Sophia has no friends and with her dad always working late, she has no one to talk to and nothing to do. After two lonely years of living of alienation, Sophia finally convinces her father to let her move back to Beacon Hills after spending the summer there, but with school starting up again, her brother Scott becomes more and more distant, fully shutting her out and she can't figure out why.
