So Long and Good Night

Vegas, Mile High Club, and Relationship Milestones.

FRANK'S P.O.V

I had everything packed and sitting by the door. There were just two bags - one for me and one for Gerard. And I was pacing up and down the hall, my thumbnail caught between my teeth. Every few seconds I kept looking up at the clock on the wall then snaking my hand into my jacket pocket, sighing a slight pant of relief when my fingertips brushed across the cool plastic.

I had called off sick today while Gerard had gone into work. I originally was going to tell him about going to New Jersey for the 'graduation' but I decided against it. So I just talked to Mikey and talked him into letting me borrow his car. I was going to pick Gee up from work and simply tell him on the way.

I glanced up at the clock one last time before grabbing the bags and walking out the front door. I turned around and locked it before checking my own apartment. I flew myself down the stairs and to the Mustang that sat in the closest spot to the stairs.

I fished the keys from my pocket and clicked a button, popping the trunk and throwing the two gym bags into the space before reaching up and closing the lid.

I quickly hopped into the driver's side and pulled out of the parking lot.

My drive to the studio was shorter than normal, or at least it felt that way. I saw Gerard standing in the foyer, looking down at his phone, typing away. That's when I decided to honk. Loudly.

I was nearly crying by the time he realized that it was me sitting in his little brother's car. His hand was resting on his chest as he looked like he had jumped out of his skin.

"What the hell you son of a bitch?" He yelled, opening the back door and throwing his bag in before hopping up front.

"What? I didn't scare you THAT bad. Did I?" I gasped, still laughing.

"Like hell you didn't. Jesus Christ I nearly pissed myself." Gee yelped, though his words were wrapped around a chuckle as he playfully smacked my arm. "So, why do you have Mikey's car?"

"Well, we're going to the airport." I smiled, turning on the ignition and pulling away from the curb.

"Why? Where are we going?" He asked, looking at me very confused.

"Well, y'know the place on your bucket list?" I smirked.

"There were two..."

"Well we're going to Vegas. It's an early birthday present from me to you." I smiled. I though he was going burst my eardrums the way he squealed with excitement.

"Well then, my ears are stuffy now." I giggled as he leaned across the console and planted a quick kiss to my cheek.

"Sorry." he simply chuckled. With that he turned up the radio to be greeted with the start of Green Day's song Holiday. Gerard smiled to himself and pulled his knees up to his chest, his feet landing themselves on the dash.

I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies.
This is the dawning of the rest of our lives
On holiday. Gee sang, his hands falling to pats on his thighs as he tapped to the rhythm

"God you're so adorable." I chuckled, poking his arm.

"Not as adorably amazing as you are, Fun Ghoul." Gerard smiled, leaning in and pecking my cheek once again.

"Alright, so I'm going to need your help getting to the airport."

"Okay, well we're almost there. Just at the next intersection you need to make a right on Lincoln Drive then the terminal building will be about another mile down on your left." he explained to me, talking with his hands.

Once I veered my way through the rush hour traffic and got into the right lane, I turned left into the drive and started my search for a parking spot. Luckily Gee pointed one out near the back of the lot.

"Hello sir." the middle-aged woman from behind the desk greeted as the two of us walked up.

"Hello, I have two tickets booked for the next flight to Vegas."

"Alright. Name please."

"Frank Iero, I-E-R-O."

She began typing.

"Ah, there we are. Mr. Iero. I'll have the printed out for you. Your flight leaves in about 20 minutes." she politely smiled. Soon she was handing me two sheet of warm paper. I immediately handed on to Gerard and we walked to the side, trying to locate the baggage check.

"It should be over by our gate." Gerard finally said, clearly getting frustrated.

I nodded and let him lead the way. I grabbed hold of his hand as we weaved through the crowd.

"What gate are we?" He asked, stopping and looking at me.

"Uhm, 13." I replied, reading it from the ticket. He nodded and once again started walking through the mass amounts of people.

***

"Jesus Christ that was probably the worst cluster fuck known to man." Gerard sighed, flopping himself down in the seat.

"You're telling me." I chuckled lightly. I had been extremely nervous because we had to go through the X-ray and I was worried that Gerard would see what was in my pocket. Luckily though, my cover was still good.

"Passengers, we will be taking off soon so I please ask that you all get seated, buckle up, and turn off all electronics. Thank you from flying with AirStar." A voice came over the speakers. I looked up the isle to see a flight attendant pressing the microphone back into the clip on the wall.

I let out a quiet sigh and looked over to see Gerard watching out the small circular window. I smiled to myself and leaned over, my mouth just inches from his ear.

"I have another surprise." I whispered, a smirk growing across my face. "But we will have to wait until we take off."

As I pulled away his face lit up as though he knew what I was talking about. And odds are he probably did.

"Might this surprise involve airplane bathrooms?" He whispered back, his right eye pulling shut in a playful wink. All I could do was nod and smile as the heat started swirling into my cheeks. Gerard chuckled and leaned in, kissing me slowly on the lips.

When he pulled away I saw his eye contact focus on something. I turned to see several people from the row right next to us shooting the both of disgusted looks. Gerard simply smiled his infamous Fuck You smile at them and they seemed to get the message. Everyone looked away except for one little boy. He looked at us in horror as his finger traveled up to his mouth in a poorly executed false gag. That's when his mother saw him and pulled him back to the seat.

Gerard just giggled at the scene and looked back at me.

"Prepare for take off." A man's voice said over the intercom.

"This is it." I smiled lightly at him. He smiled back and wiggled his fingers in between mine. I laid my head back and attempted to fall asleep before we actually started flying. Which surprisingly worked.

***

"Frankie...Frankie." Gerard whispered, shaking me lightly in my seat. I jumped awake. "Hey there sleepin' beauty."

"How long have I been asleep?" My hoarse voice choked out in a whisper.

"About three hours. But we're only half way there." He smiled. Gerard leaned in to me. "I'm going back to the bathroom. You follow me back in a minute." He winked, pushing his way over my lap and walking down the isle to the back of our section to the bathroom.

I watched him walk back before watching the time. When a minute and thirty seconds finally ticked passed, I got up from my seat and went back to the bathroom.

I grabbed for the door knob and pushed it open without knocking. I smiled to see Gerard standing in front of the small mirror hanging on the wall. He smiled at my reflection as I snaked my arms around his waist and buried my lips into the crook of his neck. I began nibbling and sucking on a now healing bruise. I couldn't help but smile when he bit his lip to keep himself silenced.

I slowly started letting my hands trail down his sides, meeting each other at his belt buckle. Without much effort, I had it undone and his pants unzipped in no time. My fingers wiggled slowly between the waistband of his pants and his warms skin while my other hand had taken shoulder and started slowly spinning his body around to face me.

Gerard;s hand slowly moved up, pushing his long fingers through my short black hair. While I was finishing with the mark I was leaving on his tender neck, he cupped my chin and pulled my face up. With a smirk curling at the corners of his lips he smashed our flesh together. He instantly pried hie tongue into my mouth, which I happily accepted as I let him explore.

As he was busy at work, his hands were working their blinded best to get down my pants. I smirked into the kiss and helped him out, unbuckling my belt and unzipping my jeans. He gave me one last thank you peck before pulling out of my underwear and grabbing my member with both hands. At the same time I was rubbing him harder and harder and harder. Faster and faster and faster.

"Fuck, Frankie." he mumbled into my hair. He kissed his way down my temple before reaching my ear. "I want you inside...inside me." his quiet voice gasped, his lip returning to its place between his small teeth. I eagerly nodded an okay in reply and pulled my hand from his crotch before grabbing the pant legs and pulling them down him legs. He pushed his underwear off as I kicked my own clothing off.

Trying to be as quiet as possible, Gerard crawled over on his knees and rolled over so he was laying on his back. I kneeled down and threw his legs over my shoulders. With a smirk, I was inside of him. He hissed in pain and bit down to the point of making his lip bleed. I just smiled and started thrusting into him. I started getting faster and faster, not caring if we were heard at this point.

Gee's head fell back and his back arched from the plastic floor. Little pants of gasps were escaping his mouth as I felt closer and closer.

"Fuck...fuck Frank. I-I'm cl-close." He whispered through a gasp.

"Say my name when you cum." I smirked, about ready to release. His features dropped and he looked at me trying to catch a bluff, but I made damn sure I was nothing but serious.

I thrust into him several more hard times before releasing. I could tell he was fighting his own when I pulled out, so I was going to help him out. I grabbed him with one hand and started pumping up and down faster and faster until my hand was covered in warmth.

"FRANK ANTHONY IERO" He yelped, his back falling back to the floor as he closed his eyes. I couldn't help but chuckle at the blush that ran out across his pale cheeks. I leaned down and kissed him before standing up myself and pulling my clothes back on.

Gerard finally caught his own breath and stood up. I smiled and handed him his underwear and turned to the mirror. I didn't really care if people heard my sex, my I sure as shit didn't want them seeing it. I fixed my short hair to the best of my ability and wiped my hands off before walking from the bathroom and going back to our seats.

I glanced out the window and it felt really weird. Instead of flying away from daylight, we were flying into it. Right as I looked away, Gerard was working his way back to his seat.

I leaned in and planted a kiss to his cheek, discreetly wiping away his own liquid from his chin.

"Christ I'm stiff." I muttered, stepping off the plane and into the bright light of Nevada.

"I know right? They pack us into those planes like fucking sardines." Gee chuckled, stepping off right behind me. Our fingers were intertwined as we walked into the terminal and straight to the baggage claim.

I grabbed both of our bags and slung over my shoulder while Gee took his and did the same.

"So, where are we headed?" He asked, grabbing my hand in his once again.

"Well, I called a cab before we left Manhattan that'll take us to the hotel." I smiled, walking beside him out the front doors. Right out front there was a very yellow taxi with 'Iero" written on a piece of paper, taped to the passenger's side window.

The driver was waiting by the trunk. I walked up and he gave a small wave.

"Frank Iero?"

"Yes sir." I replied. He nodded and took our bags, throwing them into the trunk before going up front and getting in the driver's side. Gerard and I both climbed into the back seat and buckled ourselves in.

"So where ya boys from?" the driver asked, looking at us through the review mirror.

"Manhattan." Gerard answered, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. The man simply nodded and made his way through the traffic around the airport.

We finally made it to our hotel. I grabbed our bags while Gee paid. We took has bag before wrapping his fingers between mine as we walked into the lobby.

"Frank Iero." I said, walking up to the front desk. The man started typing.

"You're in room 326 on level 5." He smiled, handing me a room card. I nodded and Gerard lead the way to the elevators.

I slid the card into the slit in the door knob and pushed it open after I heard the click on the lock. Gerard closed the door behind himself and threw his bag onto the large king sized bed occupying the room. I did the same and we both sat down.

"So, what do you have anything planned. I slept on the plane with you so I'm not tired." Gerard smiled, leaning in and planting a quick kiss to my lips. I smiled and shrugged.

"Well, we could always go sight seeing." I offered. "I've always wanted to visit on of those chapels that you can get married in."

If only he knew what I planned.

"Okay. We could do that, so long as we don't go gambling. I hate it." he replied, standing from the bed and heading for the door. I simply smiled and followed him out of the room. I slipped my hand into my pocket and sighed when I felt the little box still in there. I dropped the room key into the other and grabbed Gerard's hand, swinging our arms slightly as we walked to the elevator.

We rode down in sweet silence and walked off in the lobby.

"Do you know where one is?" Gerard asked, turning to me as we walked from the building.

"Yeah, there is one just a few blocks from here." I smiled, pecking his cheek before leading the way down the sidewalk.

***

"Lovebird Chapel?" Gee asked a little hesitantly, looking up at the neon pink sign hanging above the door. I simply giggled and nodded, leading him inside.

"Hello gentlemen, how may I help you?" A woman dressed in a black cocktail dress asked. She had bright red lips that matched her nail polish and too much blue eye shadow on. And her hair looked like it hand enough hairspray to hurt.

"Uhm, I was just wondering if we could have a look around?" I asked nervously.

"Why sure sweetie!" she smiled obnoxiously. I smiled back and Gerard and I walked into the actual chapel.

"Well, this defiantly says Vegas." Gee said quietly, looking around at all the tacky decorations littering the room.

"Look, we can walk the red carpet." I smirked, taking both of his hands in mine and walked backwards up the isle. He smirked and followed me, his eyes lighting up as we reached the alter.

We slowly walked up the steps together and stood in front of it.

I could feel the butterflies storming through my body and my palms growing sweaty as I just looked at him.

"Gerard, can ask you something?" I asked, trying to hold my voice steady.

"Sure."

"Do you love me?"

"What?"

"Do-do you love me?" I asked again, looking him dead in the eye.

"Well of course Frankie, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me." He smiled, squeezing my hands.

"I was hoping you'd say that. Gerard, I just want you to know that you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I want you to know that you have pulled me out of the deep end so many people have pushed me into. You have saved my life and I want you to know that I can't even find the words to thank you for that let alone say them enough. You are my hero, my Superman and I want you to bee more than just my wonderfully brilliant boyfriend. I want you to be mine forever. So, Gerard Arthur Way." I paused, wiping my eyes and smiling at him before dropping to one knee. "Can you make me that happiest man alive?" I pulled the box from my pocket and opened it to reveal a golden engagement band. I watched his hand fly up to cover his mouth as tears started running down his face. "Will you marry me?"
