His hands were covered in red.
Staring down at the dead girl at his feet, he felt the urge slowly ebb away, recalling what he had done. For now, one kill soothed his need, but he knew the body count would only increase with time, especially since he couldn't always get away to take care of things.
Once he'd plunged the knife into her back, her struggle was useless. She had staggered, collapsed against his chest, the blood from her wound ruining his shirt. That was of little importance right know. But a small ping of anger flared through him, and he threw her from him.
He fell with her, the knife driven into her chest now.
But she'd been dead before she even hit the ground.
