The Letters

Hi Gus,

What’s Junior Varsity and Varsity? Daddy said that we might come up and see you play a game! I’m so excited! Maybe I can show you my ballet and my boxing! Mommy teases me that I’m her Billy Elliott!

I really like my teacher! We read a lot of books! Yesterday, the school nurse came in to teach us how to wash our hands properly. She put glitter in our hands like it was germs. She told us that we have to recite the whole Alphabet song or we didn’t wash our hands long enough. It was really hard to get the glitter off my hands!

One of my mommy’s friends went to Yale University and told me that only smart people goes. She’s a lawyer. I think I want to be a lawyer. So I wrote a letter to Yale University that I was going to come and they better get an interpreter ready for me! My mom loved the letter. I think she didn’t send it… I think she kept it. Anyway I really like my interpreter Miss June. She’s a lot of fun and she talks about princesses a lot.
