Till death do you part

The root turns out to be the finger of an undead man in a tattered suit, who rises from the grave claiming that he is now Gerard's husband . Spirited away to the surprisingly festive Land of the Dead, the bewildered Gerard learns the story of Frank , his new "husband" murdered years ago on the night of his secret elopement. Frank learns from Elder Gutknecht the ruler of the underworld that because marriage vows are only binding until "death do you part" Will death do part to Frank and Gerard or will Frank let Gerard be with the one who's meant to marry?
