Link's Trial

She stood, mouth open, completely caught off guard. And with that, she began to cry again.
“Link I-” She couldn’t finish her sentence because of all the tears.
Giving up on words, she dropped the role of bandages and hugged him, not caring at all how he was. She heard him wince as his back moved, but she didn’t care. Burying her face in his shoulder again, she spoke almost to where he couldn’t hear, but he heard.
“Link, I love you too.” Lifting her head, she smiled. “I have felt the same from the beginning, and nothing this war can do will change that.”
