“Can you see me now?”
I turned the computer for different light but I still couldn’t see Matt’s face on Skype.
“No. Try turning your laptop”
He turned it and then I saw his hairless head , “I see you” I cheered making him chuckle.
“Hey baby girl” he said sitting down again.
“Hey. How’s Russia?”
“I don’t get to do sighseeing so you and I just have to come for holiday”
I chuckled , “I’m looking forward to that. I can’t wait for you to be back”
“Me neither baby. How’s the wedding arrangements coming? You all set?”
“Yeah” I nodded , “we’re going shopping for dresses today.”
“I’m sorry I can’t be there babe”
I shook my head , “no. It’s not your fault. Besides you’re not allowed to see my dress anyway so it’s better because you’re snoopy”
“I am not snoopy”
She giggled , “yes you are but that’s fine. I love you”
“Love you too.” I heard voices in the background , “hey babe? I need to go. But I’ll talk to you tonight”
“Okay” I nodded , “Come home safe okay? Love you”

I sigh and closed my laptop , walking into the kitchen where Tanya was sitting. She smiled
“skype Matt?”
I nodded , “yeah. Oh God I miss him”
“I miss Bri as well. But he’s coming back tomorrow. Matt’s coming back , when?”
I chuckled , “in a month. So are you and Bri going strong?”
“Yeah. He hasn’t asked me to be his girlfriend yet but we’re acting like a couple”
“He’s not gonna hurt you Tan. I think the boy’s falling head over heels for you”
She grinned , “I’m in love with him Kar”
“This is so cute. One less to go” I smirked. She gave me a confused look

I laughed , “I hate that the guys find whores to have sex with. It was always Matt that didn’t , now it’s Bri as well. One less to go.”
She giggled , “Johnny will never stop”
“Don’t fear – Karina is near”
She laughed. Just then Zacky walked in.
“What are you two ladies up to?”
“I need to make breakky. Who wants?” I asked standing up.
“Me!” Zacky grinned kissing my cheek repeatedly.
“I already had some thanks Kar”
“Okay” i smiled starting to make pancakes.
Zack’s phone rung and he excused himself before answering
“Hallo ---- yeah man --------------- yeah okay yeah I will , okay bye”
He walked up to me , “Matt says to call him”
“I just spoke to him half an hour ago”
“Just do it”
I nodded and sigh , asking Tanya to watch the pancakes.
I went to Matt and I’s bedroom and grabbed my phone.
I dialed Matt’s number and sigh sitting on the bed.
“Hey baby”
I smiled
“Hey gorgeous. You can’t get enough of me can you?”
Matt laughed making my heart flutter.
“That.. and my mom called. They wanna see me when I get back”
“That’s a month away” I pouted , “but I’m happy. I have a great feeling that you’d eb the family you always were”
“I hope so. And I lied”

“I lied. I’m returning home tomorrow with Bri and Jim”
“You mother fucking asshole” I exclaimed making him laugh out loud.
“Sorry babe. I wanted to surprise you tomorrow but i couldn’t anymore. I miss you”
“Miss you too. Are you busy or can you talk?”
“I-I’m sorry beautiful. I have a meeting.”
“Aww but that’s fine , you’re coming back tomorrow”
He chuckled , “yeah I’m coming back tomorrow. And then I have to talk to my folks”
“I think it’s gonna be fine babe. I really think you’d find the family you wanted”
He sigh , “if that doesn’t work out , I still have you. I love you baby.”
“Love you too. Well I’ll let you go. Enjoy the meeting”

I walked back down to the kitchen and saw 20 pancakes sitting in the pan along with 2 in my plate and 4 in Zacky’s. Tanya went to the bathroom.
“Lil’ bit hungry Vengeance?”
He laughed , “just a smidge. Did Matt tell you the good news?”
“That he’s coming home tomorrow? Yeah”
Zack chuckled , “yeah it killed him to lie to you.”
I aww’ed , “well that’s good. Then he won’t lie to me again”
“Yeah he’s a real whipped pussy when it comes to you.”
I chuckled , “he’d kick your ass for saying that”
“Luckily for me , he will never know”
I bit the first piece of my pancake. “Hmm I should be on Masterchef”
“Your choc chip pancakes are always a winner.”
