Giving up My Humanity and My Servitude to a Vampire

Those Days Are Over

The next morning I woke up early to do my morning trainning. I ran for about an hour and a half around the woods. I went back to take a shower and go to the Chanel house. Matthew wanted to come with me but I told him I was better off on my own.

On the way to Chanel house I was thinking of many ways to avoid Edward. I was going to keep myself busy in the trainning room.

I went through the back door of the Chanel castle/mansion. I was greeted by the staff with a bow of their heads. I smiled at them sincerely as I headed out the kitchen.

I made it to the training room safe.

"Ah! My favorite student." Itachi's voice boomed through out the room. I turned around with a smile and dropped it as I saw who was in the room.

Edward had a particular smile on his face.

"What are you doing here?!" I hissed as I went towards them.

"Devi, respect royalty! Have I not taught you respect?!" Itachi sounded insulted.

"My apologies, master." I bowed my head and then turned my body towards Edward and curtsied. "Your sire."

"Good, now, Devi is the best student I have taught." Itachi went on as if nothing had happened.

[Yeah. Taught her to be cold and heartless.] Edward thought.

"Heartless?" I snapped angrily at his words.

Edward opened and closed his mouth like a fish out of the water. "How did you know?"

"I'm a vampire, you ido--... I mean... I heard you." I corrected myself as soon as I felt Itachi's eyes glare at me at the corner of my eye. I cleared my throat and hanged my head in shame.

"The Queen has asked me to train Prince Edward for he is to become King soon."

I kept my eyes on the ground with no expression on my face but on the inside I was screaming at the top of lungs. King meant I was going to lose him forever. I took several deep breaths.

"My Prince take a sword and duel with Devi here. I need to know what I need to teach you, my lord." Itachi clapped his hand.

I reached out my hand and with my powers I brought a sword to my hand. Edward seemed a little envious by the look on his face.

"What, my Prince, afraid a mere girl will hurt you?" I smirked evilly at him and his face looked like he had just taken a slap.

Edward ignored my comment and went over to the wall and took out the heaviest one out of the bunch. He may be able to carry it but move it fast would be a challenge because these swords were made especially for vampires.

"Now sire, I want to win fair and square, and with that sword it will be too easy to defeat you." I looked over to Itachi and he had a worried look on his face.

"Look, I'm the Prince and I chose this sword!" Edward snapped. I think he expected me to be taken back by his sudden snap comment but I didn't even flinch.

"Okay, my lord." I raised my sword easily and the tip faced him.

With struggle he raised sword and tried pull it off as if it didn't weigh anything.

"Begin!" Itachi instructed.

"Ah!" Edward was making the same mistake as the werewolf from the woods, he was attacking with his emotions. Anger and Jealousy.

I blocked his attack with my sword. "Mmh! You're just like that werewolf!"

His eyes widen and rage took over him, exactly what I wanted him to feel because it's what I felt when he married Anne and betrayed me.

He backed away and readied his stand.

It was my turn to attack. I twirled the sword around my head and attacked Edward. In the nick of time he was able to bring the sword up to prevent me from splitting his head in two.... damn!

We went on for a couple of minutes like this; it was mostly me dodging his pathetic attacks. I was starting to get tired and decided to end it. Edward came for another sad attack and I simple held him at his spot. His eyes widen in surprise and fear.

"No fair!" Edward yelled.

I shrugged and I sent him off and his back hit the wall and Edward was now defeated because he was unable to stand.

"Devi is the winner." Itachi announced.

I bowed to Itachi and then to Edward's motionless body.

I hear a groan and Edward was finally standing up. He limped his way back to me and Itachi and there was shame in his face expression.

"Devi, would like to point out what he needs to work on?" Itachi looked at me.

I raised an eyebrow. "Me?"

"You have earned it." Itachi nods his head.

I stand up straighter. "He was attacking without a plan, he was letting his emotions get the better of him and he chose the wrong weapon. What he needs to work on is to let his emotions aside because it will kill him battle field if he starts to think about his enemy's well being."

Edward narrowed his eyes at me.

"Excellent, Devi. You shall help with the Prince's training." It was my turn to close and open my mouth like a fish out of the water. But this, brought joy to Edward as a smirk played on his lips. "We start tomorrow."

Edward struts his way to me and leans down as he was about to walk past me.

"I guess I'll be seeing you around, Emily." He walked away.

I cletched my hands and smoke started to come out.

"Now, now, Devi." Itachi waved his finger at me.

"Sir... I was wondering if I could... not participate his the Prince's trainning." I looked at him with my mose sincere look.

He eyebrow rose. "I thought I sensed tension between you two. You have a past with the Prince?"

"A very dark past and I want to avoid... old feelings from rushing back again. Please." I begged.

"Devi, I have taught you to control any situation the battle field, love is a strange field for me. But I need you... will you do it for me?" I couldn't deny him.

I sighed.

"Of course." I smiled.

I walked up to him and tip toed to kiss him lightly on the lips, because the children were there, he knew and so he didn't try anything. He snaked his arms around my waist and we leaned on each other's forehead.

"I missed you." He whispered in a soft voice.

I giggled. "Me too."

"Those days are over, Emily." I told myself. It was the end of another day and I was in my room, which was convinitentely next to Matthew's. Sometimes when naps didn't work to calm myself down I would go next door and he would hold me all night.

I was surprised he never tried to touch me all those times I was so close to him, he kept his distance all the time, he respected me! I could feel something growing for Matthew and though it was already there since the day his eyes met mine, it was becoming stronger and stronger by each day.

On that night, I was having another night terror, re-experiencing the days of pain my body wne through for three days and wake up and find out the person I loved married someone else.

I knocked twice on his door. His voice told me to enter and I peeked in to check if he was dressed because it's happened before and I've gone in and he was shirtless.... nice sight. Haha.

Thankfully this time he was fully dressed. I flashed him a sincere smile.

"Hey, night terror again." I shrugged innocently.

Matt, yeah I'm calling him Matt from now on, well he was on his bed reading a book. It was thin and it looked worn out. I crawled into bed next to him, under the blankets I felt his cold body against my semi-cold body. I was wearing a thing light purple gown that went just to my knees. My hair was let down.

"What is that?" I leaned over to see what he was reading.

"Shakespeare." He answered, I was reading some of the lines and scrunched my nose. "What?"

"I could never get a word he was saying, I mean, I know his stuff is... incredibly great, but... I guess I'm not much of a poet." I looked away from the book and Matt was smirking down at me. "What?"

"I always pictured you as a poet." Matt kissed the top of my head.

"Too bad, because I am most certainly am not. I mean I can understand Emerson and Thereau but Shakespeare, for me, is too... deep." I moved my hands as I talked and when I ended my sentence I heard Matt chuckled.

"For a girl you certainly are a weird one." Matt cocked his eyebrow in a fake 'weirded-out' look.

"Ha.Ha." I punched him playfully. Matt closed the book and placed it on the bedstand.

Matt and I got more comfortable. His head was on the pillow and my pillow was his chest, he wore those thin shirts that showed his well-formed chest. His right hand played with the end of hair and curled around his finger.

Matt sighs, you know one of those deep sighs.

"Emily?" Every time his velvet voiced called for me I got this feeling in my stomach and the butterflies fluttered without stop.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I love you." Okay this was different from all the other times he said it. Something about it this time made is so much sincere and real.

"I love you, too, Mattew." We met half way and we kissed.

He deepened the kiss by securing his hand on the back of my head and I took hold of his neck and pulled him down towards me. His tongue brushed against my bottom lip and I part my lips allowing him entrance. Our position was now this, he was on top of me, one hand supporting himself and the other caressing my thigh, but our lips never parted but I wanted so much more from Matthew, I wanted him to be my first. I gave him the signal when I started to caress his chest with my hand lower and lower, a small moan escaping his lips through our kiss. He knew where I was going with this and so the hand that was rubbing my thigh suddenly stopped my hand. He looked down at me.

"Are you sure you want to go through this?" I laughed inside of my head because the last person that said that betrayed me and turned me into a vampire and took away my family.

I had to stop and think for a second, always a smart thing to do. I finally look back to him and smile.

"Yes. I want you to be my first, Matt." He smiled and kissed my lips with pressure. His hand started to roam more part of my body with passion. As his hand played with the bottom fabric of night gown he starts to kiss my neck and quickly located my sensible spot, I guess he remembered it. His name escaped my lips in a moan and I held on to the sheets as the beautiful feeling went over my body.

Then...
