Chapter 42
I woke up at like 3am and found Ash and Ayla back. i was wide awake so i decided to make use of the bath tub and took a long bubble bath. It felt nice and afterwards i crawled back into bed to try and sleep again, which i did until about 5am when Ayla woke up. I was picking Ayla up out of the cot when i heard a very faint mumbled "morning"
I turned around to see Ash with one eye open looking at me
"morning babe" i replied
i sat back on the bed rocking Ayla.
"you can still sleep it's only 5" i said
"i'll stay up" he mumbled
"sure" i replied not convinced
i sat back in the bed and Ash snuggled up to me so i had both him and Ayla resting on me.
"so what is the plan for today" i asked
no reply, i looked down and he was gone again. Typical.
"so princess, are you going to be good today" i mumbled at Ayla as she looked at me with her big eyes.
Today is Billboard awards, we have a 4 hour drive to Las Vegas and then the show and i truly don't know how she is going to be around all those people and the chaos, she's never really been around that many people before. Plus jet lag, i dont know how shes going to be with that. I mean i know she is a baby and she will be needing naps and everything, which i dont even know how that is going to woke either. Did Ash think this through should we really be going at all, i mean we could just stay in LA while they go. I was starting to freak myself out. I rested my head against the wall behind me and shut my eyes, next thing i know i'm waking up to the sound of knocking.
ilooked to my side and ASh is still asleep and Ay is asleep on me. I carfeully moved resting Ayla next to Ashton and went over to the door. i looked through the peep hole and saw my sister standing there.
i opened the door
"Maui" i sai dpulling her into a hug
"Hey sissy" she mumbled into my shoulder
"i missed you"
"i missed you too" she replied
i let her go and we stood there for a second
"so is he up" she asked
"nope"
"well get him up and down to breakfast, he has to be in the dressing room at 6:45"
"what time is it now" i asked having no clue
"6:15"
"okay okay we'll make a move" i said
"good, i have your dress by the way, Ashton picked it out"
"oh great" i said
"see you in a bit"
"okay i'll get him to you as soon as possible"
i went back into the room and over to the bed
"Ashton wake up" I shook him a little
"no don't roll over, Ayla is by your side" i said
he stop halfway before opening his eyes and seeing Ayla there
"good job, you nearly crushed your daughter, now get up we gotta get to breakfast and back up for 6:45"
he looked over at the clock reading 6:20. he got up and put some sweats on and i picked Ayla up, she started crying but i just rocked her as we walked out the room. We went in the elevator down to the restaurant/buffet area seeing Michael sitting on his own.
"morning" i said as i walked over to me.
"morning"
"Can you look after her while i get stuff" i asked as Ashton had already made a b line to the food.
"sure"
"go to uncle Mikey Ay" i said handing her over.
I walked over to the food and picked up a tray. i looked behind me and saw Ayla sitting on Michael's lap he little legs falling either side of him and sitting her resting her hands on the table, slapping them down. I grabbed a banana and yogurt for her and then made some toast and cereal for me. I saw Ash in the hot food area and walked over to him
"Can you get her some eggs" i asked
"Already on it" he replied
"thanks sweet cheeks" i laughed, he gave me a look because i've never called him that in my life.
i walked away laughing and back to the table
"thanks" i said to Michael
"no problem, I missed her"
"oh thanks"
"i missed you too" he added
i cut up some banana and handed a piece to Ayla, she refused to take it from me, but then Michael took a bit of Banana and she took it from him
"looks like it might be an Uncle Mikey day"
"i don't mind, normally Lukes her favourite"
"well she hasn't seen him yet, so"
Ash came back with his food along with the plate of eggs. He was blowing on the eggs to make them cool quicker. the joys of being a parent, always having to feed your child before you can eat. He put some on the fork and reached over the table
"come on Ay you like eggs" he said
"let me try" Michael said
he took the plate and fork and started doing an airplane motion. she ate
"i told you, it's a Michael day" I said
"she still in that phase" Ash asked
"i guess so, lets hope it doesn't make today even more difficult"
i looked at my watch and saw it being 6:45.
"guys you're meant to be up getting ready" i said
Michael stood up and handed me Ayla she started crying but it had to be done. Ash quickly finished his food and joined Michael. Ayla went back to normal when she could no longer see Michael.
"Ayla not today please" i said
i started feeding her the yogurt before putting everything back on the tray and putting it away. I headed back up stairs and saw Maui knocking on our room door
"noones in" i said behind her, she jumped so high
"don't do that" she replied
"we need you guys" she said
"okay, can i quickly brush my teeth and wash my face" i said
"quickly" she replied
she followed me into the room and i handed her Ay as i went into the bathroom, i washed my face and teeth before joining her again
"okay i'm ready"
we went down the hall a bit to a big room that had everyone in there.
"morning" i heard as we entered
i replied generally to the room as Maui pushed me over to a chair
"okay i'm gonna curl your hair and do your make up" she said
i sat maui on my lap and she was content for all of 5 minutes before she kept moving and wanting down. Ashton was changing, Michael was changing, Luke and Calum were getting their hair done
"okay if i put you on the floor, you better be good"
Maui moved the curling wand away from me and i got up and went to the middle of the room and placed her down, i grabbed a couple pillows from the couch and kind of made a pen around her.
i went back to sit down and kept my eye on her through the mirror.
As i was getting my make up down Ashton came back and told me he was going to get her dressed now. i had no clue what she was going to be wearing or anything.
"maui do you know what shes wearing" i asked
"yes and it's super cute" she replied
"what am i wearing"
"you'll see in a minute"
"if he's picked something super sexy i'm going to kill him and you for letting him"
"it's not i promise you will love it"
she finished my make up which was a smokey eye and my hair was curled with a few front pieces pinned back. She walked over to a rail and pulled out a bag. and unzipped it revealing my dress. It was a black deep plunge maxi dress, but the bottom half of the dress was sheer fabric, so it looked like a mini dress with a sheer skirt maxi skirt over it, the back was backless, it just had 2 spaghetti straps that connected to the bottom waist band.
"now before you say anything, we picked a plunged v shaped because if you have to nurse her it would be easy access"
"Was that your words or his" i asked
"mine, he actually wanted one that was full front but i questioned how easy it would be breastfeeding in a dress like that"
"sure" i mumbled knowing full well Ashton likes it when i show off my boobs. i took the dress from her and started to the small bathroom.
"wait the shoes" she said handing me some plain black wedged shoes.
i put the dress on and i must admit, i looked hot in it, i looked at myself in the mirror before walking out
"so what do you think" I said to the now room full of people. I heard whistling and i looked over at Luke
"Luke" i said sternly
"sorry sorry but my bestie looks smoking"
"Beautiful babe" Ash said i looked up and melted at the site i saw. Ayla was dressed like him. She had a pink bandana on her head, he had a black one. He had a denim vest on, she had a denim vest on. She had a 5sos shirt on and he had a pink floyd one, he had black pants on, she had a black tutu with pink sparkles on it.
"you guys look adorable" i said
"excuse me i was going more for hot" Ash said
"yeah but with her in your arms, adorble is the word"
"well you look hot baby"
"thanks for the dress" i said
"i'm glad you liked it, Maui nearly had a heart attack when i picked it out saying i needed to pick one with a full front"
"oh did she now" i said looking at her with a smirk
"okay i lied" she said
"i knew it, as soon as you said it, i know what he is like" i said
"okay can i please take a picture of all you guys, this is my first professional red carpet styling" she said
they all were wearing of course black skinnys, Luke had a red checked button up and leather jacket, michael had a green day shirt on and leather vest and Calum was wearing a white shirt and a green bomber style jacket.
I stood next to Ashton and Luke and Maui took a picture
"okay now take one of us" Ash said handing his phone over
"Hey Mike will you take Ayla" i said after Maui took a family picture
i stood next to Ash and he pulled me closer to him, he quickly looked down at me and i smiled up at him then turned to Maui.
"okay pictures done we need to make a move" Jake said coming in.
"just want to say you're a hot couple" Maui said
Michael walked out with Ayla as she refused to come back to me.
"She doesn't like me today" Luke said pouting
"it's just because she saw him first"
once in the lobby we saw a bunch of fans out front
"okay Olivia and Ayla walk out and straight to the car, guys take a couple pictures and then tell them you're sorry but you have to get going"
i took Ayla back from Michael, luckily she didn't do a little protest and i headed out the front, i covered Aylas ears as the screams started, i heard someone shout i looked pretty so i turned and said thank you before getting in the car, I set Ayla in her seat a couple minutes later the boys were in and we were now heading on our way to Las Vegas.
