Arsonist sets fire to “The Jailhouse” as “The Warden” clings to life
(October 25, 2007) Sadly, fire being set to “The Jailhouse” has become an all-to familiar headline over the last year. Once again, a fire was started at the construction site of “The Jailhouse” dome, and the damages appear to be significant.
There were no eyewitnesses of the event, but a security camera at a local pub down the street show a suspicious Teal Geo Metro hatchback drive by, and quickly speed back past around the time of the fire.
In the meantime, Elwood Jenkins or “The Warden” remains in critical condition. It has now been 5 days since “The Warden” suffered 16 gunshot wounds to the chest, abdomen, and upper thighs. His outlook remains bleak but no official details have been released past that. The family refuses to comment on the situation under these solemn circumstances.
The damage of the fire will likely derail the dream that “The Warden” had worked so hard to bring to life. The hard work and devotion may have also gone up in flames.
