Ana forced a smile onto her face as she followed Marco into the airport, he was going back to Dortmund, his club had only given him two weeks off. She knew that he would have to go back, but didn't let herself think about it over the last ten days. Ana had grown rather attached to Marco, he helped her get an appointment for a Therapist, she decided she needed one. He also pushed her back into work. At first her parents thought it was too soon, but Ana was glad that Marco had done it, work was a distraction she needed.

Marco turned to face Ana, he was glad that she seemed to be coping well, he was going to make sure he stayed in touch with her.

" Are you sure you are going be okay?" Marco asked.

Ana smiled at him, she was going to be just fine " I will be okay Marco" she said, looking up at the flight departures, his flight would be leaving soon.

" You have my number, so if you need to talk just call me" Marco said, wrapping one arm around Ana and gave her a quick hug.

" You also have mine, and if it gets too much for you in Dortmund, you can always escape to New York" she joked.

" I will take you up on that offer" Marco warned.

Ana laughed softly, she needed to let him go, it was time for her to start dealing with her Issues on her own.

" Have a safe flight" she said, giving him one last hug.

" I will call you when I land in Dortmund" said, giving her one last wave, before he went to check in.

Ana smiled sadly at his back, then turned and hurried away, her place was in New York and Marco's was Dortmund. She barely knew him, but yet she hated the thought of not seeing him every day. Ana shook her head at her last thought, she would be just fine, like her therapist had said, smalls steps to start with.

Henry looked up from his paper as Ana arrived home, she had been staying with her parents, as she refused to go back to the flat she had shared with Robert.

" Did Marco get off okay?" Henry asked.

Ana nodded as she took her coat off, she hung it up and then sat down beside her father.

" I liked him" Henry said, Marco had been a welcome distraction for his daughter, but now she had to deal with Robert's death and Lies.

" Yeah, he is a nice guy" Ana mumbled, as she switched the channel over.

" Do you think you will see him again?" Henry asked.

Ana shrugged, she wasn't sure, Marco was a footballer they had a reputation. " He says he wants to stay in touch" Ana replied.

" That is good" Henry said glancing down at his paper, he was trying to work up the courage to tell her Frank and Beth were heading over to talk to Ana.

Deana glared at her husband, he was supposed to tell Ana that Frank and Beth were coming over, their daughter needed some warning.

" You need to warn her" Deana hissed quietly at her Husband as Ana was distracted by her phone.

" I tried earlier, but we were talking about Marco" Henry said, eyeing his daughter warily.

Deana frowned at the mention of the footballers name, he was a nice guy but she knew that as soon as he landed back in Dortmund, he would forget all about Ana.The last thing her daughter needed was more Heart break. Ana had grown closer to Marco over the last week and a half, Deana hadn't said anything in fear of pushing Ana away. She just hoped that with Marco's departure Ana would start dealing with her Issues, especially with Robert's family.

" You need to tell her now, they will be here in an hour" Deana said.

" Okay I will tell her" Henry said, hoping Ana wouldn't go completely crazy.

Ana looked up from her phone, she had sent a text to Marco, she knew he wouldn't get it till he was off the plane, but she wanted to thank him for everything he had done lately.

Ana frowned at her parents, they were whispering among themselves.

" What is going on?" Ana asked, making her parents looked over at her.

" Tell her Henry" Deana Demanded.

Henry sighed, he already knew how Ana would act. " Ana Robert's parents are coming over today, to speak to you" Henry said.

Ana let that sink in, she wasn't happy that Frank and Beth had lied to her for three years, but she did deserve some answers and they were the only people who could give it to her.

" Okay" was all Ana said, taking her parents by surprise they were expecting her to go crazy at them.

" Ana are you okay to see them?" Deana asked, not wanting to make Ana do something she didn't want to.

" I have to speak to them sooner or later, why not know" she said.

Ana turned back down to her phone, she ignored her parents furious whispers as she began to delete all the messages Robert had ever sent her. It was time to move on, she loved him, but his cheating and secret love child, made it slightly easier to move on.

Frank and Beth stared nervously at Ana, they had been trying for the last week to talk to her, but Ana had refused every meeting until now, they knew she was hurting and wanted to make it clear to her that Robert had loved her.

The awkward silence in the room grew until Ana couldn't bare it any longer, she needed to get this over with.

" How long was Robert cheating on me for?" she asked, getting straight to the point.

" Ana he loved you so much" Beth said, avoiding answering the question, it would just make Ana hate Robert more.

" Oh spare me, if he loved me like you say he did, he wouldn't have cheated on me" Ana spat.

" Three years" Frank blurted out, he was sick of all the lies, Ana needed to know the truth.

Ana shot Beth a disgusted look, how dare she tell Ana that Robert had loved her, when he had been cheating on her from the start of their relationship.

" I can't believe you knew this and lied to me, how could you" Ana spat angrily.

" Robert was our son, he always said he would end things with Rachel, but he never did" Beth said.

" When did she have their son?" she asked.

" Does this really matter?" Beth fired back.

" It does to me" Ana replied.

" Rachel had Jamie two years ago, Robert had sent you to London with your parents" Frank said.

Ana had been so touched at Robert's gift at the time, know she knew the truth she was totally disgusted at him and his parents, at the lengths they went to protect their lies.

" Ana this doesn't have to change anything, you are still part of our family" Beth said.

Ana laughed coldly, she would never be a part of their family not after this little bombshell.

" I think you should go, we are done here" Ana said.

" Ana please" Beth begged.

Ana just shook her head and pushed past Beth and Hurried. upstairs, she couldn't be around them right now. They only had themselves to blame for all the secrets they had covered up.

Marco was glad to be back in Dortmund, he looked around for Mats, he said he would pick him up. He couldn't see him, trust Mats to be late. Pulling out his phone, he went to call him, until he spotted the message from Ana. He quickly opened it and read. Ana was thanking him for his support and she hoped they would stay in touch. Marco quickly fired back a message.

" Marco" He heard Mats call out, he looked up and saw Mats heading in his direction.

" About time you showed up" Marco said, rolling his eyes at his friend's lateness.

" Sorry about that, Cathy was being a complete nightmare" Mats said.

" How so?" Marco asked as they walked towards Mats car.

" You know just being a typical girl" Mats said, clearly frustrated.

" Ah" was all Marco said.

Mats looked at Marco, he looked a little different " Did you get things sorted?" Mats asked.

" Yeah" Marco replied as he looked back down at his phone, thinking of Ana.

" That is good, the boys have missed you" Mats said.

" I have missed them too" Marco said, he was glad to be back home and couldn't wait to start training again. Things were slowly going to return to normal.
