Empty With You

Fights and Knives

The darkness surrounded the empty building as I lead Eric through the room. It used to be some business building but now it was converted into a place to practice fighting. There were a few of us who felt we didn't belong in our factions, so we came here to practice our fighting skills.

At first there were a lot of us, but now it was mainly me coming here time after time. Which could prove to be dangerous since so many others knew this place was here. All it took was one of them to tell one of the Faction leaders and being a rebel would be the worst of my problems.

Hell, I even took a risk bringing Eric here. I trusted him so many times but in the end, if he decided, he had enough to turn me over. Him, being here now, made me trust him completely not to, especially since he's known of this since the beginning.

"I'm so glad you never told anyone of this." I ran my fingers over a table as I looked at him.

"Why would I?" Eric watched me. "I'm here probably just as much as you are."

"True," I smirked and leant against the table. "But why? You're the perfect Erudite. Why go against your family?"

"They expect too much from me," He looked down at the ground, "Yes, I'm smart. I'm everything a Erudite should be, but I wanted more."

"Meaning?" I watched.

"Before I met you, I had everything figured out. Erudite through and through, then I met you," He shrugged. "You changed everything. Made me realize that there was more to this life than just one Faction. Then just one way of thinking."

"Sorry," I looked down.

"And then I realized it wasn't just you," Eric continued. "It was every where. It's how I've felt my whole life. I wanted to know what was beyond the wall, what used to be in this city, I wanted to know what it felt to be free."

"Careful, thinking like that could get you in trouble," I smirked at him.

"Maybe but meeting you, made me realize that I wasn't alone," He moved closer to me. "I finally found someone who understood and I felt like I belong."

"Why is it, I get to see this soft side yet everyone sees the jerky you?" I shifted in spot as his arms slid around my waist.

"Because maybe I am still a jerk you just end up loving that part," He smirked.

"No, I see ego usually," I teased him.

"And come on, you know everyone in Abnegation are a bunch of Stiffs," He pointed out as his eyes looked up with a smirk on his face. "Admit it."

"They're not that bad," I drew out a bit as he gave me a look. "Ok, not as exciting but still."

"Stiffs," He made his point.

"Such a jerk," I played with his shirt.

"Which you love," He leant in to kiss me.

"Maybe..." I drew out to feel his lips touch mine. "So let's see how much your fighting has improved."

"But I just wanna kiss you," Eric whined as I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Aww, too bad," I giggled as I walked away from him. "Come on, fight me."

"You know not many guys can say they have a girlfriend who wants to fight them," Eric grumbled.

"Chicken," I taunted.

"Fine," He gave me a look as something switched in his eyes, something that sparked that urge to fight inside of him.

The fight between the two of us began with me taking a swift kick close to Eric's face which he caught and spun me around to the ground. He almost pinned me to the ground when I flipped myself up and gained my composure.

Throwing a punch towards him, Eric caught my fist and spun my arms behind my back. I struggled to move against mine a bit as he tightned his grip on me.

"Give up?" His hot breath whispered in my ear.

"Never." I challenged back at I managed to spin him around again and knock him to the ground.

I watched as he smirked and stood up to push me against against the wall with a force that jammed my back into the wall. I winced slightly as he held my arms over my head. His face was mere centimeters form mine as his chest moved againt mine.

"I win," He gloated as I kept eye contact.

"You scare me when you fight like that," I whispered as he still kept his gaze.

"Good," He took a deep breath in.

"Don't hate me, but it's kinda a turn on," I licked my lips quickly as his eyes watched me. "You should train in here more often."

"Is that so?" Eric questioned as I nodded. "Wonder what should be done about that?"

"You could kiss me," I barely choked out.

"Should I now?" Eric pushed his body against mine. "I'm not convinced."

"Eric," I let out a desperate plea. "Just kiss me."

"Hmm," He pondered while he roughly pushed his hips into me to cause me to whine and slightly moan. "I'm still not convinced."

"Eric," I let out a breath as he picked up my legs and slid a hand up and down my thigh. "Damn it, just take me now."

Eric smirked as he tore off my shirt which then shortly had all our clothes thrown across the dark room. Our bodies moved together on the wall, my back scraping against it as my nails dug into his back. Eric's teeth bit down on the front of my right shoulder as I let out a scream and dug my nails down his chest.

One would think that someone was being tortured or murdered from the amount of screams and moans coming from the building. And well, the amount of marks on our bodies from the wall on my back and the nails across his body.

Eric pinned my arms above my head again as he finished himself off inside me, then slowly dropping my legs as he leant into me to kiss me. It was a long passionate kiss, one that felt like he hadn't kissed me in forever.

"You ok?" He whispered as I nodded.

"Fine," I smiled as I ran a free hand down his cheek and his eyes slowly closed. "Just a few scrapes."

"You're beautiful," Eric whispered as his eyes watched mine and I felt a heat rise to my cheeks.

"Thank you," I whispered.

"I mean it," He kept eye contact with me. "You're always beautiful."

"Thank you," I smiled at him and kissed him. "We should get dressed though."

"Are you staying with me tonight?" He whispered as he rested his head against my forehead.

"Yes," I whispered.

"Don't leave before I wake up," He kissed me quickly.

"I won't," I nodded as he moved away from me to pick up our clothes.

Eric handed me my shirt to hand to me as I zipped up the pants I was wearing. I took the shirt from him but bent down to get my boots as I felt his eyes on me. I knew why he was staring. There were only two things he could be staring at, the bruises on my body or the tattoo on my shoulder.

"You got a tattoo?" His voice echoed against the wall in a calm tone as I bit my lip and nodded.

"Yeah, I did," I stood up to look at him.

"When?" He questioned.

"Not that long ago," I shrugged.

"I see," He nodded.

"Look, it's none of your business as to why I got it-" I started and turned my back towards him as I felt his fingers on my side.

He took a minute to take in the artwork. "Why all the factions?"

"I don't know," I shrugged. "I couldn't just go with Candor since well, it's hell there. And I haven't chose a new Faction yet. Worse comes to worse, I'll just get the others covered."

"I like it," Eric nodded as I let out a sigh of relief. "Not necessarily that you have Stiff ink on you, but it suits you."

"Thanks," I nodded. "And I swear, once I find a faction, I'll get the others covered."

"Mhmm," He nodded as his fingers traveled down my back and towards my ribs on my right side to then touch my bruise. "Where'd you get this?"

"The fight," I swallowed hard.

"Ari," He warned. "You tensed up when I mentioned it."

"Just, don't worry about it ok?" I moved away from him as I pulled my shirt on.

"Who did this to you?" Eric's voice got angry since he was pissed that someone would do this to his girl.

"Just don't it because you can't go up against him," I turned to look at him. "It won't be worth it."

"Did Marcus?" Eric questioned as I bit my lip.

"Please don't say anything," I pleaded with him. "I'm already outcasted by most my faction and so not welcome in Abnegation."

"You need to tell someone," He watched my eyes as I shook my head.

"Just do this for me," I placed my hands on his chest. "I don't want to think about it anymore."

"Fine," He let out a shaky breath. "But if he does it again-"

"I know," I nodded. "You'll kill him."

"At least you know," Eric took my hand. "Come on, let's get go to bed."

I followed Eric back to his house and climbed into his bed with him. He wrapped his arms rightly around me and I felt safe. I felt needed and wanted. Lying in bed with him right now, I felt like I actually belonged somewhere.

It wasn't long after the two of us drifted to sleep that voices from the other rooms in his house. I shifted in his bed and went to get up but the strong arms behind me tightened their grip around me.

"Don't get up yet," He mumbled with his eyes closed.

"But we both have things to do," I pointed out as he still kept his grip.

"I don't want you to leave this bed," He half ordered. "And yes, that was an order."

"Psh, you don't own me," I half laughed at him as he snuggled his face into my neck.

"But you're mine," He mumbled still. "And I don't want you to go to the Eaton house today."

"I have no choice on that part," I turned to look at him. "I've got things to do. Assignments to finish."

"I know," His eyes finally opened. "Promise me, you won't get hurt though."

"God, I hope I don't," I sighed as I ran a finger down the bridge of his nose. "You're so cute."

"I know," He smiled as he shut his eyes again. "I really don't want you to leave this bed."

"I don't want to either," I smiled at him as his blue eyes met mine again. "Hey, I'm going to practice my scary knife throwing skills today if you want to join me?"

"Maybe," He smirked. "It's you and knives. The thought scares me."

"I don't think I've thrown knives at you," I protested with a smile.

"You haven't, but I've seen your accuracy," He pointed out. "It's damn near deadly."

"Thank you," I cuddled closer to him.

The two of us got up shortly after and dressed to go about our day. Mine had me going to the warehouse I was at with Eric last night where I met Tobias now. This time there was a table lined with knives in a row as a shy and quiet Tobias stood there, awkwardly shifting.

"I was afraid you weren't going to show up," I teased him as I picked up a knife from the table and admired it for a second. "Not many Abnegation would've."

"I'm not like them," Tobias spoke clearly as I nodded.

"I know," I threw the knife at the wall behind him only to have him not move a muscle. "You didn't flinch."

"No," Tobias took a deep breath in.

"Good," I smirked at him as I handed him a knife. "I got a feeling you're going to be a natural at this."
