Maiden of Darkness

*Your Point Of View*

You wake up, blinking your eyes, trying to adjust them to the sunlight coming from the window. You yawn and stretch your arms, as you lift your torso.
"I hadn't slept like that for a while, now", you said to yourself, rubbing your eyes.

You look around the room, and see Kairi sleeping in the other bed. You smile at her and stood up from the bed putting on your shoes.
You walk into the other room, and see Sora, Donald and Goofy eating at the table. Leon was laying against the wall, while Aerith was cooking. Sora looks over to you and waves.

"Hey good morning, Aniko", he yelled to you.
You smiled at him and sat at the table between him and Goofy. You look around the room a couple of times, and sighed. Sora looked at you curiously.

"What's wrong, Aniko?"
"I haven't seen Riku this morning. Do you know where he went?"
You saw Sora look away, you wondered where Riku had gone. Sora looked back at you slightly smiled. He started to get you nervous.
"Sora?"
"He said he'll be back soon. He went to Twilight Town, saying he had something to do", he told you calmly.
"Oh, that's odd. He didn't even tell me about it. I wonder why?", you sounded a bit disappointed. Sora pat your back.
"No worries, Aniko. He probably didn't want to worry you, with all that you been through", he smiled at you.

You nodded your head. Aerith came with a plate full of waffles.

"Here you go, Aniko.", Aerith said cheerfully. Leon started walking over to the table. He stopped and crossed his arms.
"We're meeting the king in Ansem's Study. He's waiting for us".

You opened your eyes widely, and turned to Leon. You were shocked with amazement, Leon stared at you.

"The king is here. Wow, I didn't know that", you looked back at Sora.
"Wow, a real royal person. I wonder what he looks like?", you said wondering in your own thoughts.
Kairi walked in and greeted everyone. You started to eat your pancakes quite quick.
"Hey, everyone!", Yuffie barged in. She went towards you and grabbed your arm.
"You're coming with me, Aniko", she said as Aerith walked besides Yuffie with you.
"Um, where are we going?", you asked nervously. Yuffie just smirked.
"You'll see!", Aerith said as they both took you outside.

Everyone inside looked surprised. Kairi tilted her head.
"Does anyone know where they're going?", she asked. Everyone shrugged their shoulders.
Outside, Yuffie and Aerith are taking you to the town. Inside your mind, you were getting nervous. You didn't know what they were up to.
"Okay, here we are!", Yuffie declared. You looked at the building, confused. Three little ducks came out of the building. They all looked the same, except one was wearing green, the other blue, and the last one red.
"Hey, Huey, Duey, Louie!", said Yuffie. The three ducks looked cheerfully.
"Hi!", they all said at the same time. You were still a little confused. The three ducks approached you, examining you.
"HI!", they all said to you. You slightly smiled at them.
"Um, hi. I'm Aniko!"

"We're Huey, Dewey, and Louie!", the three ducks identified themselves to you. Aerith walked to you.
"They're gonna help us", Aerith said. You blinked your eyes a couple of times and looked at Aerith, quite scared.
"Help with us?", you said.
"Help you get a new look!", Yuffie smiled. You looked at them shocked.
"What, but-", at that second, the three ducklings took you inside the building and sat you in a chair. Yuffie and Aerith smiled.
"But, guys. I look fine.", you said as you tried to get up.
"Don't you want to look nice for the king? Besides, you're cloths are starting to look run out. Might as well give you a new look", Yuffie turned your chair over to the mirror.

You looked at your reflection. You saw yourself staring back at you. You couldn't help but notice that, maybe you did need new clothes.
"And don't you want to impress Riku, next time you see him", giggled Aerith. You faced her and started blushing.
"Um, well-"
"Then it's settled. Guys, cut her hair!"
"WHAT?", you yelled out at Yuffie. The three ducklings came with scissors.
"Relax, they're really good at this" Yuffie tried to calm you down.
The ducks came closer to you with the scissors. You couldn't help but freak out. Aerith and Yuffie hold you down.
"I can't watch", you whispered to yourself as you closed your eyes shut, avoiding what might happen.

*Sora's Point Of View*

You were walking up to Ansem's study, with Leon, Donald, Goofy, and Kairi. You were spaced off in your mind, when Kairi grabbed your hand.
"Hey, Sora".
"What's the matter, Kairi?"
"Did...Aniko notice Riku's gone?'
You stood silent for a second, not knowing what to say. You couldn't help the fact that you lied to Aniko about Riku. You looked at Kairi and nodded.
"I see. Did she ask you where he went?"
"Yeah, I told her he was in Twilight Town. She was okay with it", Kairi looked down to the ground.
"I feel bad for her. I hope comes back in time", she said softly. You nodded and smiled to her.

In a few minutes you noticed you were all ready in Ansem's Study. You looked around the room and saw the king.

"Hi fellas."
"Hey your majesty. What were you doing?", you said kneeling down to reach to the king's size. Donald and Goofy ran up to him and hugged him.
"Just checking out to see if Tron could scan the castle, unfortunately, he can't", he said pointing to the computer room.
"Why not?", Leon said walking over to the computer room. You all followed.
"Apparently, there's something blocking the scan, I think it's all the heartless coming out of there", King Mickey crossed his arms, his tail moving in every direction.
"Then, we're just gonna have to destroy them all, right?", you said scratching your head.
"Actually, that won't do any good. More heartless keep coming out from the castle. Even if we do destroy them, more will just keep coming out", King Mickey sat on the chair and started typing.

"Well, Aniko can help us. She can control heartless remember?", Donald mentioned. King Mickey nodded at him.
"That's what we're planning to do".
"Speaking of Aniko, where is she? She hasn't come back yet?", you said looking at Kairi. She shrugged her shoulders.
"Aniko's right here!". You all turned back to the voice. It was Yuffie, jumping up and down. Aerith was giggling.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please give a round of applause for Aniko", she moved aside. Kairi and you saw Aniko standing behind Yuffie.
"Um...hi?", she said nervously.

"Wow, Aniko! You look great!", Kairi ran up to her and examined her. You smiled and walked up to her.
"Your hair, it looks marvelous. Did you even your bangs?", Kairi continued to ask her questions. Aniko looked a bit embarrassed.
"See Aniko. I told you those little ducklings ARE good", Yuffie said, crossing her arms.
"You look pretty, Aniko!", you said to her smiling. She blushed and looked away.
Kairi and Aerith giggled at her. King Mickey got off his seat and walked up to Aniko. He looked up to her and smiled.
"Hi. So, you're Aniko? Please to meet you, I'm King Mickey!", he said offering his hand.
