Tales of Symphonia Story, Sylvarant Chronicles (1)

QUIZ START: While the guys set up camp for the night. Raine is helping teach you new healing. You learn a new healing ability, giving it the name 'Lords Prayer' and Raine nodded approvingly,
"That was very good, Aura." she told you "You've learned a new art, one that I haven't even heard of. Perhaps you could teach it to me?" you smile gently and give her a thumbs up,
"Sure thing, Professor."
"Good. Now, lets get back." you nod, and follow her.

You guys walk up the mountain-side path to Hima, when Lloyd noticed something happening on the plateau,
"What's that? It looks like theres something going on in front of the inn." he said. As soon as you arrive, you all see what he was talking about. Its three adventurers attacking Clara!
"All right. Its weakening!" a leader announced, raising his sword, "Finish it off!"
"Stop!!" Lloyd yelled.
"Don't interfere! This is our prey!" he warned,
"Clara stop! We want to save you! Please calm down." Raine said. Clara rammed into the Professor, who stumbled back into Colette, knocking her over,
"Ah!" then she noticed you. She turned to you, screaming,
'Aura!' she yelled 'Kill me!'
"No! I won't do it!" you tell her,
'You have to!'
"I won't!" you argue, ignoring the way the people were looking at you. "We can help you--"
'No!' she yelled, grabbing her head and shaking 'No! You don't understand! I will kill other people if you don't stop me!'
"Try to control yourself, Clara." you plead with her, taking a step forward, "Please..."
"Aura, be careful..." Colette worried,
'No! I don't have control! You wont help me!!' she yelled at you,
"Please Clara--"
'I hate you!'
"!..." those words hurt, like someone had stabbed you through your heart. You were trying to help someone, and they said the three words that would crush anyone... 'I hate you' when you hear Lloyd yell,
"No! Aura look out!"
"Huh?" you look up just in time to see Clara raise an arm. "Ah-!" she threw her arm at you too quickly for you to block. She struck you, hard, in the side.

You were sent flying into the side of the Inn, cracking the boards that you hit, and hurting your back and the back of your head severely. Kratos rushed to your side, as you slid down to the ground. The Mercenary put an arm behind your shoulders, supporting you gently,
'No!' you heard her yell as you slip into unconsciousness 'You see?! I have no control! You must kill me!'
"I...won't..." you murmur back weakly,
"Don't talk." Kratos ordered gently. "You need to save your energy." your head fell on Kratos' shoulder as you slip completely into unconsciousness.

Aura was completely unconscious. Her head fell on Kratos' shoulder. Clara let out a loud screech in agony, grabbing her head, before running higher up the mountainside,
"Dammit! After that monster!!" exclaimed a man, the three Adventurers run after Clara, while Lloyd and the others run over to Kratos and Aura,
"Is Aura ok?" asked Lloyd worriedly,
"I don't know." Kratos responded. However Genis' attention was diverted when he noticed something sparkling on the ground. He walked over to where Clara had hit Aura, and picked up a large key which had been lying on the ground.
"Clara dropped this." he said. Raine took the key from him.
"This is... the key to the Tower of Mana..."
"I see. Clara was the one that took the key to the Tower." Colette mumbled,
"...I hope she's safe..." the Professor said,
"Hey!" Sheena exclaimed, "Have you forgotten about what happened?! We need to help Aura!" they nod. Kratos picked Aura up and everyone walked inside. Upon Raines suggestion, Sheena reserved two rooms. Kratos set Aura down on the bed in one of the rooms, and waited for Raine. Lloyd helped Sheena and Raine explain to Sophia what happened outside.

Raine came down to the room after speaking with Sophia,
"Pardon me, but all boys must leave. Kratos, you included." he looked at Raine incredulously. She knew he wanted to stay, "I need to look at Auras back in order to heal her, so..."
"...I see. We'll wait in our room." he left obediently, "Lloyd, Genis. Come." the two boys followed Kratos out. Raine turned to Sheena,
"I need bandages. If you wouldn't mind."
"Sure." Sheena left to ask Sophia for bandages. Raine removed Aura's shirt, and shifted her so that she was lying on her stomach. The Professor gasped when she saw the girls back. It was bloody, and cut severely, with some splinters protruding out from where the old wood had cracked. It looked horrible.
"Colette, here." the Professor wrote a small list of herbs. She handed the list to the girl, along with about 500 Gald. "Purchase these from the store outside. Hurry." Colette quickly ran out of the door, but tripped almost instantly,
"Ops." after rushing outside; Sheena came back in with the bandages. Sheena handed the bandages to the Professor, but flinched,
"Woah...she really got hurt..." she muttered. Soon Colette came back in with the herbs and an extra 300 gald.
"Here. The man gave me a discount. He knew what happened to Aura." she explained. Raine hurriedly took the herbs and bandages.
"Thank you. Now, I must be alone. I'm sorry." Sheena and Colette nodded understandingly, then left.

Raine went to work making a salve out of the herbs. Before putting the salve on her back, she carefully pulled out the splinters, depositing them in the garbage. She then mixed the salve one more time, and slowly spread it over Aura's back. Even though unconscious, the girl still flinched
"I'm sorry Aura. But you have to take it..." the Professor mumbled. She continued applying the salve. While applying the salve she murmured sadly, "...Your heart it too big, Aura... Sometimes I feel you're far... too kind." After a while of casting her healing arts over the girl, she wrapped her back up in bandages. The woman had been in here for almost two hours now. She sighed softly, her task done. Raine pulled the blankets up to Aura's shoulders, and left her to rest while she went to tell the others how she had recovered.
