Love's Wishes

That same night, Maria bit my head off about visiting Alonni and I just ignored her at this point.

-Saturday-

"Alonni come on. I want to get there early." I knocked on her door impatiently.
"Don't rush me, Danny!" She growled.
She then came out with black spandex on with a light pink crop top on and her chucks on. Her hair was put up into a messy bun which was cute and she had many earring holes filled in.
"Ready?"
"AM I READY?" I laughed. "You seem to be more ready than I am!"
"Oh, hush, Danny. Come on." She smiled.

We drove to the cinema and everyone seemed to be staring at us while I bought the tickets.
"Danny, everyone's staring at you.." Alonni says.
"No. They're staring at you." I laughed. "Let's go get some popcorn."
As we waited in line, a guy approached Alonni.

"Hey, beautiful." he winked at her.
"Why thank you for the compliment." I smiled.
"Oh! I didn't know she was your girlfriend, honest." he said.
"He isn't my boyfriend.." Alonni giggled.
I bought the popcorn for us both and then went into the designated theater.
We sat in the front. Plus we were early, like I wanted. Alonni leaned on me and dug into my popcorn we she clearly had her own.
Maria calls me:

"Hey, babe."
"You with Rapunzel?"
"Alonni..and yes I am. I told you I would be. What's wrong?"
"I..I'm coming down with a fever.."
"I told you not to keep the ac on all day..Call Eve."
"She...isn't answering..."
"I'll call her."
"No. Maybe she's busy. Can you just come home?"
"I promised Alonni I would take her to the movies, Maria."
"You did take her. Now you can come back home."
"Maria, no. You can take care of yourself for a little while. I'll be home soon."
"But, Daniel!"
"Love you, bye."
I hung up and blew my breath.

"Was that your Maria?" Alonni smiled.
"Yeah, she wanted me to come home because she has a fever." I sighed.
"Awe. I hope she gets better." Alonni says.
"Me too." I put my arm around her and the movie began.

...

I came home and Alonni wanted to come along.
"Hey, babe! I'm home! Alonni's here too!" I yelled.
Maria came out in one of my shirts and folded her arms, "I'm fine now."
"Oh, okay. Good." I smiled as I kissed her forehead and went to the bathroom.

I couldn't help be overhear the conversation between Alonni and Maria:
"Good thing your better now." Alonni says in a joyful tone.
"How was the movies?"
"It was good. We went to see Poltergeist." Alonni elongated the word. "It was so scary! I almost ripped out my hair!" She giggled.
"You're the one he see's at all hours of night, huh?"
"I wouldn't say that. He just checks up on me. Help me find my way, ya know?"
"At 4 in the morning? Or how about on Thursday night?"

At that moment I came out the bathroom and interrupted the conversation.
"Babe, that movie was awesome. I hope to see the next one." I smiled.
"Glad you had fun.." She growled.
"What's wrong now?" I asked as I sat down.
She sat down on my lap and started kissing me.
"Maria, not now.." I told her.
"Come on.." She put her hands in my sweatpants.
"I'll go home now.." Alonni says.

"I'll take you home." I told her, moving Maria off of me.
"No..No it's okay. I can walk." Alonni smiled faintly.
"You sure?" I asked as she approached the door.
"Yeah, see you later, Danny." she put on a smile as she left.

"Why would you do that?" I growled at Maria.
"Do what?" She bit her lips and opened her legs.
"Maria what is with you and sex?"
"I just want more of it..." She says.
"Right." I went to the kitchen and began to tie up the trash.

I looked inside and saw a used condom at the bottom of the bag.

"Maria!!!!!"
